Chapter 866 Keep Strawberry, Not Victoria

"Frank."

Eve also looked at Frank.

The entire team followed Frank's lead.

Frank felt sorry but could only say, "Mrs. Harrington, I don't have any authority to help you."

Frank thought Victoria shouldn't be doing this.

Alexander genuinely wanted to reconcile with Victoria and was sincere towards her.

After hearing Frank's words, Victoria cried.

It wasn't until she heard Strawberry crying outside that she snapped back to reality and quickly looked out the window.

"Let go of Mrs. Harrington," Frank said.

Strawberry was already in Alexander's arms.

Victoria's arms were released, and with tears streaming down her face, she immediately got up.

"Victoria."

Adrian called her.

She wanted to go back to Alexander, who had hurt her.

Adrian wanted to stop her, but she stumbled and didn't stop.

Victoria didn't stop, not even for a second.

She missed a step and fell off to one side.

"Mrs. Harrington."

Eve quickly jumped down.

Victoria's head was bleeding, and she was groggy, muttering, "Strawberry."

"Mrs. Harrington!"

Adrian came out and, seeing Victoria injured, immediately ran down, "Victoria."

"Move aside."

Before Adrian could pick up Victoria, a cold voice suddenly came from above him.

When Victoria woke up again, she was already in the hospital.

It was raining outside, and the windows were wet.

She was in a high-end ward, opened her eyes, and quietly listened to the sound of the rain.

She was familiar with this ward; she had used it before.

She didn't expect to come here again, but knowing she was in Ankenra City, she felt quite calm.

As long as she was here, she hadn't lost Strawberry.

Thinking this, Victoria slowly fell asleep.

Her forehead hurt badly; Victoria only remembered falling off the plane. She had no recollection of how she ended up in the hospital. She lay there silently, waiting.

Someone would come and tell her what happened.

"I heard she's here. I want to see her."

It was Diana's voice.

Diana walked in from outside, then stood by the bed looking down at Victoria, "You dared to run away with the Harrington family child, you deserve this."

Victoria opened her eyes and forced a smile.

She didn't expect the first person she would see to be Diana.

"This is karma, you know? In the future, if you want to leave, go by yourself. Don't ever think about stealing Harrington's family child again, or next time it won't be as simple as falling off a plane and getting a few scratches."

Diana said, pulling a chair to sit beside Victoria, then seriously stared at Victoria's pale face, muttering, "I've hated you since we were kids. I thought after you and your parents went abroad, I wouldn't hate you anymore. Until you came back, I had almost forgotten about you. But not only did you come back, you stayed. I came here today because Alexander asked me to. Alexander wanted me to tell you that once you wake up, you can leave. He doesn't want to see you again."

Victoria turned to look at Diana, smiling, and asked, "Are you happy now?"

"Of course, I'm happy. Alexander can finally get rid of you, and our entire Harrington family can get rid of you. I've never been this happy."

Diana said, lifting her chin, then moved her chair closer to her, "Victoria, honestly, once you leave, don't come back. After this incident, the elders are disappointed in you. After all, you almost made them never see Strawberry again. If you need money, considering what happened to your parents, I have $110,000 here for you as compensation."

Victoria listened, looking at Diana in confusion.

'Diana would give her money to me, wouldn't she?' Victoria thought.

"I know it's not much, but I've been a bit extravagant these past two years. Next year, give me an account number, and I promise I'll send you more money."

Diana said sincerely.

Victoria felt a warmth in her heart.

She remembered when Isabella and Naomi gave her a card with $28,000 on it, thinking it was too much.

But Diana, who had always disliked her, thought $110,000 was too little and wanted to make up for it next year.

"Diana, you're quite nice."

Victoria couldn't help but murmur, also very sincerely.

Diana quickly left.

She was afraid that if Victoria praised her a few more times, she would soften.

She also found it strange that Alexander didn't give Victoria alimony.

Logically, in a divorce, the man should give the woman alimony and other miscellaneous fees. Splitting the marital assets in half was impossible, but giving a few million dollars seemed reasonable.

After all, they were divorced, and the Harrington family didn't lack that kind of money.

But Alexander said, "No need to give Victoria anything."

Just those few words made Diana's heart sink, too.

Alexander wasn't a stingy person, but why was he acting this way?

Diana couldn't figure it out, but she wanted to see Victoria in pain and unhappy, so she rushed over.

But how could Victoria say she was quite nice?

After leaving the hospital, Diana went to Benjamin's office. Benjamin had just finished a meeting and was resting. Seeing her come in, he asked, "What's wrong with you now?"

"I'm not here to seduce you. Why are you always so nervous when you see me? I just wanted to talk with you."

Diana later realized she didn't have many friends in Ankenra City.

She was naturally solitary, and she looked down on the girls in the city who tried to curry favor with her. She preferred to be alone.

She and Benjamin had been in the same class as kids, so they had some connection.

She sat in the chair opposite his desk, "Alexander told Victoria to leave."

"What?"

"This morning, Victoria tried to run away with Strawberry but was caught by Alexander. Alexander plans to keep Strawberry completely separate from Victoria."

Diana said thoughtfully.

Benjamin frowned in confusion, "Are you joking?"

Benjamin scrutinized Diana, but she didn't seem to be kidding.

But how could Alexander do that?

It would be more believable if Alexander kept Victoria and not Strawberry.

"Alexander must be very disappointed in Victoria. Since he can't keep her, he won't. But he didn't even give Victoria alimony."

"What?"

Benjamin was getting more confused.

"Victoria may not be a good woman, and Strawberry might even be a surrogate, but they were married. Did Alexander just sleep with her for free for years?"

Benjamin couldn't understand Diana's thoughts.

He even had trouble understanding Diana's seemingly simple words.

"I suddenly feel Victoria is quite pitiful. If I were used for free, I wouldn't be happy either."

Diana said, resting her chin in her hand, lost in thought.

Benjamin quietly took out his phone and sent a message to Alexander.

But Alexander didn't reply at all.

Wasn't Victoria supposed to go out with Olivia?

How did it turn into Victoria running away?

And with Alexander's people following Victoria, how could she run?

Benjamin felt he must have missed something. He looked at his phone worriedly for a while, then called Alexander.

But Alexander didn't pick up.
