Chapter 558 Try Kissing Him Again

Victoria figured it had to be Eloise or Arabella inside, and she didn't want to drag them down into this mess.

However, the door was opened, and out stepped a graceful figure.

It was Arabella, a noblewoman.

While everyone stared at her in confusion, Victoria rushed over. "Mom, what are you doing here? Go back."

"Don't worry." Arabella patted her hand gently, then shot a venomous look at the people holding cameras. To her, those who cursed and snapped random photos without knowing the truth were scum.

Those people suddenly felt intimidated by Arabella's presence.

Arabella sneered, then looked down at Victoria's hand, held it, and loudly asked, "Who was badmouthing Felicity? Step up and say it aloud."

The crowd froze, and one bold person asked softly, "Who are you?"

"Seeing an elder and not even knowing how to address them properly, you are a disgrace to your parents. I am Felicity's mother-in-law, Alexander's mother, got it?"

Arabella's voice was firm and powerful.

"Felicity's mother-in-law?"

"Alexander's mother?"

The crowd was stunned, staring in disbelief.

Arabella was holding Felicity's hand and saying she was her daughter-in-law.

"How can you prove you're Mr. Harrington's mother?" someone in the crowd asked.

Arabella scolded, "You idiots dare to shout here, carrying multiple phones but not knowing how to Google, huh?"

With that, she pulled Victoria inside.

Someone quietly started checking information, and the crowd made way.

Arabella's presence was too powerful. She stopped at the door, turned around, and asked, "Have you checked it out?"

"But isn't Mr. Harrington's wife Ms. Hughes?"

Recently, there were rumors that Alexander had married Tessa from the Hughes Family.

Arabella claimed, "My daughter-in-law has always been Felicity. As for Tessa, it's just a rumor."

Someone else retorted, "Even so, your daughter-in-law can't be Felicity. Everyone knows the Harrington family once married a girl named Victoria. She lost her parents, and the Harringtons, out of kindness, had Mr. Harrington marry her."

"I am Victoria." Victoria never thought she'd have to clarify this herself one day.

Arabella turned to Victoria, her eyes filled with relief.

Victoria needed to say it herself. If this matter continued, it would be very detrimental to the Harrington family.

Arabella felt that Victoria's ability to clarify showed she could distinguish between right and wrong and stand on the Harrington family's side.

"She is Victoria?"

"Is she really Victoria?"

"She is actually Victoria."

The crowd whispered among themselves and then looked at Arabella again.

Arabella continued sternly, "Felicity is just my daughter-in-law's stage name in the entertainment industry. If you don't leave now, I'll call the police, and none of you will get away with it."

Hearing that, everyone quickly dispersed.

Inside, Nicole, who had heard everything, was left with her mouth agape in shock. 'What? Felicity is Victoria?' she thought.

Nicole always felt Felicity looked familiar, like she had seen her somewhere before.

Then last night...

Nicole, standing against the wall, tried to calm herself when she heard a voice getting closer.

Arabella said as she walked inside with Victoria, "Alexander was worried you might get blocked today, so he asked me to come and help. I didn't expect it to really happen."

Arabella was pretty disappointed with the folks outside. She never mingled with people she considered low-level—not financially poor, but those with a bankrupt spirit.

There were plenty of such people in this world. They spread rumors because they knew they usually wouldn't face any real consequences for a few words.

Arabella felt these people should be ignored. Without anyone reminding them to change, they'd eventually pay for their impulsiveness.

Arabella continued, "Alexander's still in a meeting. He should come by to see you filming later. By the way, is Adrian here? Take me to see him."

"Sure," Victoria agreed and led Arabella onto the set.

Adrian was engrossed in reading the script. Arabella watched from a distance and sighed. "The Harrington family members do look quite alike."

Victoria didn't comment. She could see it too.

But despite their similarities, their vibes were completely different.

Adrian was more like an elegant nobleman, while Alexander was strong, domineering, wild, strategic—a true leader.

Adrian saw Arabella through the mirror and immediately stood up politely. "Aunt Arabella?"

Arabella smiled when she heard him and walked towards him. "I missed you, so I came to see you."

After all, Adrian was her sister's child, sharing some of her blood.

Besides, Adrian had always been the kind of kid who made people want to care for him. If it weren't for the significant issues between the elders, he should have enjoyed the love of his relatives.

When Alexander arrived, Arabella was about to leave, so he and Victoria went to see her off together.

After Arabella got into the car, she asked Victoria, "Do you want to come back to the Harrington Mansion tonight? How about letting Alexander wait for you to finish work and go back together?"

Victoria smiled and confirmed, "Not today, maybe on the weekend. I'll go back myself. I bought a new car and haven't driven it much."

"Alright then, I'll leave first. Call immediately if you need anything. Some unnecessary suffering is just not needed."

Victoria agreed and reminded the driver, Cade, "Cade, drive slowly."

After they left, Victoria stood there, not moving her gaze for a long time.

Arabella was a senior she greatly admired.

Alexander had been watching Victoria. Seeing her lost in thought, he waved his hand in front of her eyes. "Mrs. Harrington?"

Victoria snapped back to reality and looked at him a beat late. 'Mrs. Harrington?' she thought.

Alexander just smiled at her without rushing to provoke her.

Victoria snorted, "What are you doing here again?"

"Last night's matter was interrupted, so I came today to make up for it."

Victoria felt a surge of anger, wanting to call him shameless but knowing that talking too much with him would only make him more brazen.

She turned and walked inside, and Alexander followed her casually.

Victoria finally stopped, turned to him, and said, "Stop following me."

Alexander chuckled. "I'm just visiting you on set."

Victoria lowered her gaze slightly, then quickly looked at him again and reminded him, "Don't say I didn't warn you, but I have a kissing scene today."

The smile in Alexander's eyes quickly disappeared, and he looked at her seriously.

"If you want to watch, feel free to follow." Victoria turned to leave after speaking, but her wrist was suddenly grabbed by him.

At the set entrance, Alexander suddenly pulled her into his chest, kissed her forcefully, and said in a deep voice, "Try kissing Adrian again."
