Chapter 46 Siblings?

Jasmine's scalp tingled with anxiety. It felt as if a war had begun between the legitimate wife and the mistress, and she was caught in the crossfire.
The door to the lounge opened, revealing Isabella sitting next to Alexander. She urged Jasmine, "Hurry up and bring it over."
"Yes."
Jasmine approached nervously.
"Open your mouth and take the medicine. You're making everyone worry, do you understand? Miss Kensington is too young and doesn't know how to take care of people. From today on, I will take care of you personally," Isabella said, handing Alexander the medicine.
Jasmine listened in silence.
Then she saw Alexander's hand stop Isabella's hand that was extending towards his mouth.
"Give it to me."
He sat up and took the medicine himself, then asked for water.
Jasmine handed him the water, and after he took the medicine, he asked, "Where's Victoria?"
"She's outside."
"Take the breakfast out for her to eat."
"Yes."
Jasmine was taken aback by his order, but she quickly grabbed the breakfast and left. ‘Did being a subordinate require this kind of quick wit?’ She asked herself internally.
"You're so sick, and you're still thinking about her?"
"I'm fine."
"Do you think I don't know whether you're fine or not? You didn't even have a fever for two years when we were abroad, and as soon as you come back, you have such a high fever."
Isabella started to cry, leaving Alexander a bit dumbfounded.
However, he didn't know why, but he didn't feel the slightest bit of pity. Just the sight of Isabella made his mood sour.
Jasmine took a glance and left. When she returned to her seat, she pushed the breakfast in front of Victoria.
Victoria glanced at it and asked her, "Did he eat?"
"It seems he ate a bit, but he wants you to finish these. Mr. Harrington wants you to finish all of these," Jasmine clarified, fearing she hadn't explained clearly.
Victoria opened the packaging. Inside was a beautifully prepared breakfast and two servings of soup. She turned to look at Jasmine, "Want to eat together?"
"Can I?"
Jasmine thought the food looked really delicate and well-made, and she was a bit hungry, but she felt it might not be appropriate.
"Of course you can. I can't finish it by myself."
"Hehe, this is breakfast from Harrington Hotel; it looks so delicious. But Vicky, are you and Mr. Harrington... together?"
Victoria had just taken a bite of breakfast, and when she heard this, her lips started to hurt again.
"Although Mr. Harrington is very handsome, I think it's wrong to break up someone else's family."
Jasmine looked at Victoria, who didn't seem like a bad person and was even sharing her food with her. She couldn't help but share her thoughts.
Victoria just smiled awkwardly in response, "Hmm."
"You don't know, just now when I went in to deliver water, Miss Montgomery looked so scary. I dare say if she knew about you and Mr. Harrington, she would definitely..."
"There's nothing between Alexander and me."
"Huh?"
"He was delirious with fever and mistook me for Miss Montgomery."
"But..."
She was carried in by the boss in her pajamas; Jasmine wouldn’t be fooled by something like that.
"I sprained my ankle, and he just held me for a moment. Everything was just an accident."
"Huh?"
Jasmine was completely unconvinced.
"Let me tell you a secret."
"What?"
"My family has been close to the Harrington family for a long time. Mr. Harrington and I have a... sibling-like relationship."
"Mr. Harrington."
Jasmine suddenly looked at the man diagonally opposite.
"Siblings?"
The man who had been standing at the corner of their table also echoed faintly.
