Chapter 887 I Really Hate This Shameless Woman

"Do you guys think it feels fresh? Comfortable?"

Daisy asked, seeing that Alexander was pretending not to notice her.

"I've got a bit of a cold lately, can't smell anything."

Edward said indifferently.

He hated this shameless woman.

"What do you think, Mr. Harrington?"

Daisy looked at Alexander, calling him out.

Everyone who heard her didn't think she was bold, just incredibly stupid.

She had cut her hair short like Victoria, mimicked Victoria's gentle voice, and even bought the same perfume Victoria used.

"Go get the manager here," Alexander said indifferently.

Daisy looked at Alexander in confusion, but then thought that it was better to give her something to do than to ignore her. She felt a sense of being entrusted with an important task and said, "Okay, I'll go right away."

Manager Peter Raymond was talking to his subordinate about the private room Alexander and his group were in. The subordinate mentioned that Daisy had brought in the wine again this time. Peter thought for a moment and asked, "It's been her these past few times, and Mr. Harrington hasn't said anything, so..."

Before he could finish, Peter saw Daisy.

Inside the private room, the men were playing cards. Alexander, while drawing a card, said, "Remove anyone who has been neglecting their duties these past few days, then go to HR and dock your salary for a year, or you can resign."

"Okay."

Peter was stunned, realizing that his uneasy feeling from the start of the day now made perfect sense.

Daisy stood nearby, looking like none of this had anything to do with her, but her face suddenly felt hot.

"What do you mean by this, Mr. Harrington?"

Daisy stepped forward in humiliation to question him.

Alexander just calmly stared at the cards in his hand.

It was Edward who spoke up, "Peter, do you want to resign?"

"Ms. Bryant."

Peter immediately understood Edward's meaning and reminded Daisy to leave.

"I married that gay man for you. If you don't like me, just tell me directly. Why humiliate me like this?"

Daisy said, tears welling up as she ran out.

She looked so aggrieved, as if they had once had a relationship and now he was rejecting her.

Olivia, having finished her business, came over to find Edward, but saw Daisy leaving. Olivia stormed into their private room angrily, "Edward."

Edward felt a chill down his spine and turned to smile at Olivia, "Honey, what are you doing here?"

"I told you not to see Daisy again. Didn't you hear me?" Olivia questioned.

"What?"

Edward felt extremely wronged.

Benjamin saw Olivia's fierce demeanor and smiled helplessly, "Olivia's temper has been increasingly volatile lately."

"Benjamin, don't say that. I need to take good care of Olivia now."

"What?"

Benjamin was stunned, and Alexander also looked at Edward curiously.

Edward pulled Olivia close as she approached, touching her flat belly, "Olivia is pregnant."

"No wonder it took several calls to get you out. If you had told us Olivia was pregnant, we wouldn't have called you."

Benjamin immediately spoke up for Edward.

Olivia blushed but glanced at Alexander unintentionally. She then lowered her eyes and muttered to Edward, "Stop pretending to be a good guy. If you cared about me, you wouldn't meet with Daisy."

"It's my fault. Alexander just had someone deal with it. She won't be coming back."

"I don't believe anything you guys say."

Olivia hadn't expected Alexander to deal with Daisy; she thought he would continue to use Daisy to annoy Victoria.

It was said that Daisy's family had hired a voice coach for her, claiming she was learning voice acting. Who knew what she was learning?

"I'm taking Edward home."

Olivia looked at Alexander and Benjamin.

No one stopped her.

Even Sebastian just smiled and said, "Feel free to take him."

"You're quite sensible."

Olivia glanced at Sebastian, thinking he had become more well-behaved and sensible after getting married.

That year, Sebastian admitting his affair with Isabella in such a big setting earned Olivia's admiration; he was bold enough to act and willing to take responsibility for his choices.

"I miss Victoria."

Olivia mumbled absentmindedly as she and Edward walked out.

"If you miss her, then let's go see her," Edward whispered.

Only then did Alexander lift his eyes, but he quickly lowered them again without a trace.

"I'll go find someone else to drink with."

Sebastian said as he went out to call someone.

That night, Alexander called Victoria. He had planned to say something, having already found an excuse, like she had left something behind. He could have said it casually, but hearing her voice, as if it had been scratched by glass shards, left him speechless.

They should just leave it at that.

"If you don't dare to see her, you can go on a business trip."

Benjamin mentioned, seeing Alexander's gloomy expression.

"Who says I don't dare to see her?"

Alexander suddenly questioned.

Benjamin and William both looked at Alexander.

"It's just that there's nothing worth seeing about her."

Alexander's expression soured even more.

Benjamin said no more, and the others dared not speak either.

That night, Alexander returned to the Harrington Mansion.

He brought Strawberry back to his room and silently stared at her.

Even though everyone said Strawberry looked more like him, at this moment, he saw Victoria's shadow.

Victoria did it on purpose, didn't she?

She had Strawberry so he would always be reminded of her.

Alexander found her utterly despicable, yet he could only endure it.

He just opened his phone and silently read Arabella's recent social media posts over and over again.

Abroad, in the morning.

Jason drove to Victoria's place. Victoria was lying alone on the couch in the living room, sunbathing. Hearing the noise, she curiously turned her head towards the door. Seeing it was Jason, she slowly sat up, "Why are you here?"

"Can't I come?"

Jason walked over and sat in the single chair next to her, looking at her thin figure.

Victoria smiled, "You can."

Jason was pleased but still felt uneasy, "Your hair has grown longer than before, but why do you look even thinner?"

Frank and Eve were in the kitchen making food. Hearing the noise, they came out and saw it was Jason. Eve went to make coffee and quietly asked Frank, "Why is Jason here?"

"It's good for Mrs. Harrington to have someone to talk to."

Frank said.

"But I don't think Mrs. Harrington needs to talk to him."

Eve muttered.

Frank lowered his head, "Next time we go back to the States, let's get our marriage license."

Eve paused in making coffee and slowly looked up at Frank.

"What are you doing?"

"Proposing."

Frank smiled and said softly to Eve.

Eve blushed but quickly said, "Just because you propose, I have to marry you?"

"Don't you want to?"

Frank felt a bit uncertain.

"All you men are the same. Mr. Harrington hurt Mrs. Harrington so hard. You're Mr. Harrington's loyal servant; who knows what kind of person you are?"

Eve muttered, continuing to make coffee.

Frank just smiled indulgently, "Alright."

Eve looked at Frank in confusion.

"Eve, you should agree to Frank. You can train him well; he won't end up like Alexander."

Here, Victoria dared to call Alexander by his name.

Eve and Frank turned to look outside, feeling even more embarrassed.

Frank explained softly to Eve, "That 'alright' is something I learned from Mr. Harrington."

"You two should go back and get married, preferably in the next few days." Victoria pondered and then said.

"Why, Mrs. Harrington?" Eve asked, confused by Victoria.
