Chapter 456 Opposites Attract
Benjamin and Edward left almost immediately, feeling quite relieved.
Olivia was stunned and asked, "How about I take care of you tonight?"
"Do you believe I'll have Edward go on a blind date tomorrow?" Alexander said.
"Alright, I'll leave right away," Olivia replied.
Olivia immediately shut out and quietly left.
Victoria couldn't help but ask curiously, "Is Mr. Sinclair with Olivia?"
Alexander was very angry.
Victoria still had the time to meddle in others' business.
"She said they were too familiar with each other that day," She muttered. She was genuinely curious.
"They're not together, but they like each other secretly."
Although he was upset, Alexander reminded her so she wouldn't linger on it.
"So that's how it is," Victoria said.
'Unrequited love?' Victoria pondered for a while until she noticed Alexander still staring at her.
She foolishly asked, "What's wrong?"
"Are you going home or staying here?" Alexander asked.
"Should I call Mr. Shaba to take care of you?" Victoria asked.
"It is so late. Are you still calling Mr. Shaba? His back is not well. Go ahead if you think it's appropriate," he replied.
"Then I'll call Mrs. Montgomery," she said.
"Are you sure it's okay to call an old lady to take care of me this late?" Alexander was stunned.
"So what should I do? Who had taken care of you when you were sick before?" Victoria asked.
"Just leave, I'll be fine alone," Alexander replied.
Alexander didn't want to speak anything to her.
He had plenty of people to take care of him before, but now, he only wanted her.
She constantly pushed him on random individuals, though, and thanked him. He had been touched for a day, and she believed she loved and worried about him.
Victoria stood there and asked, "We'll stay here for the night and leave tomorrow, right?"
Alexander's eyes twitched at hearing this, but he didn't speak.
"I'll sleep on the couch," She whispered.
She was willing to stay and take care of him for a night.
After all, she didn't want him to have any issues in the night.
Thinking about how he looked at noon today, the situation seemed quite serious.
Alexander just quietly glanced at her without speaking.
As expected, she went to the couch.
Half an hour later, they returned to Regal Retreat. Alexander noticed Victoria was driving well and asked her, "How about becoming my driver?"
Victoria glanced at him and then smiled, "What if Mr. Harrington allows me to resign?"
Alexander immediately became serious, pretending he hadn't heard anything, and started enjoying the scenery outside.
Victoria then drove seriously.
Victoria was preparing to leave Regal Retreat when Alexander fell on the bed.
"Where are you going?" Alexander asked.
"I'll sleep in the guest room," Victoria replied.
"What if something happens to mein the middle of the night?" He asked.
"You can call me," she replied.
Victoria thought, 'I can hear you call through a wall.'
Victoria advised, "Just stay on the couch here if you don't want to sleep on the bed."
Alexander always remembered that she didn't want to sleep with him, so he had to remind her this way.
She had to stay close to him at all times.
So, Victoria slept on the couch.
Olivia messaged her: [You guys are back?]
Victoria replied: [Yes, Mr. Harrington is already lying down to sleep, rest assured.]
Olivia replied: [Okay.]
Olivia thought, 'Who worries? All but the fool are relieved.'
Victoria thought for a moment and messaged Olivia: [Olivia, do you like Mr. Sinclair?]
Olivia replied: [Like a playboy? Am I crazy?]
Victoria replied: [Alright.]
After Victoria replied, she couldn't help but happily fantasize.
Throughout history, men had been loved whether they were playboys or devoted lovers. Love may damage even the most promiscuous woman. Only men and women lived in this universe, and most people were of the opposite sex. Love may not last, but everyone was loved eventually.
She fell asleep around ten at night. After he was released, she relaxed after being uptight after lunch.
Her couch sleep drowsiness gradually subsided, and she slept more peacefully.
