Chapter 610 You Said You Love Me, Right?
Isabella dialed Alexander's number again.
She missed the times when he would immediately meet her whenever she called.
It was all because of Victoria that those days were gone forever. How could she not hate her?
Isabella, sitting by the window, silently downed a large glass of wine.
Arabella went to dinner with her friend Rebecca Smith. As soon as they went upstairs, they saw Isabella drinking crazily. Arabella immediately told the waiter, "Get your manager here."
"Yes, ma'am." The waiter quickly called for the manager.
Rebecca asked, "What's going on?"
"Dealing with a bitch," Arabella replied.
Soon, the manager arrived at the private room. Arabella, while slowly pouring coffee for Rebecca, asked with an imposing air, "You know Isabella, right?"
"Yes, Ms. Montgomery is currently dining in the cafeteria."
"From now on, she's banned from dining in our cafeteria."
Arabella even felt that Isabella didn't deserve the title Ms. Montgomery. She was so disrespectful.
"Understood." The manager, though puzzled, wisely agreed immediately.
Arabella continued, "From now on, anyone from the Montgomery family is banned from dining in our cafeteria."
She was utterly fed up with that family.
The manager replied, "Yes, I'll give the orders right away."
"Good," Arabella responded with satisfaction.
After the manager left, Rebecca asked, "Do you really hate her that much?"
Arabella replied, "If Isabella were trying to ruin your son's marriage, wouldn't you hate her?"
"I'd hate her even if she wasn't. Once, my husband was late coming home from a gathering, and I went to check on him. Isabella was there, sitting between my husband and Mr. Ward, but leaning towards my husband," Rebecca recounted.
"Really?" Arabella was curious.
"Isabella is just like her mother, both are greedy and insatiable," Rebecca added.
Arabella frowned and remarked, "Seems like she's more than just greedy."
——
Isabella didn't know she had been blacklisted from the cafeteria, nor did she know this was her last meal here. Around ten o'clock, as she was about to get into her car, a waiter stopped her, "Ms. Montgomery, please wait a moment."
Isabella thought they were concerned about her.
After all, she used to come with Alexander, arm in arm as his companion.
The manager said, "Ms. Montgomery, you are no longer allowed to dine here."
"Why?" Isabella asked, puzzled.
"We're informing you tonight that if you come again, we will refuse to serve you."
"You've got some nerve. Don't you know my relationship with your boss?"
"We only know that our boss just got married. This is our management's decision, Ms. Montgomery, please don't make it difficult for us." The manager's words carried a veneer of politeness, yet his eyes betrayed a hidden disdain.
Isabella immediately drove to the Regal Retreat, but she was stopped at the entrance. She then remembered she could no longer enter.
She believed it was all Victoria's fault.
As tears streamed down her face, she gripped the steering wheel, filled with hatred.
For the next few days, Isabella stayed at the dock.
A whole week later, Alexander and Victoria finally returned.
Alexander was simply dressed in black trousers and a white shirt, but once seeing him, Isabella felt her heart was pounding. She knew she loved him so much she could give up her life for him.
Victoria, wearing a long dress, was led out by him.
The two were talking in front of the car, and Victoria seemed unhappy. He then forcefully kissed her and gently pushed her into the passenger seat.
Isabella's heart ached at the sight, but she sneered.
In her eyes, Victoria looked innocent and sweet, but she was actually very seductive. Whenever she used her tricks, Alexander would be captivated.
Isabella hadn't expected the online rumors about Victoria's infertility to be suppressed so quickly, nor had she expected the sudden spread of news about her father having an illegitimate child within the Montgomery Group. And...
Despite being aware of the challenges that lay ahead, she firmly believed that everything would get better.
She was determined to achieve the final victory.
One day, Alexander would cherish and love her, treating her like a precious gem.
And all those women, including Victoria, would disappear from this city.
Isabella actually wished Victoria would disappear into the ocean. Only then would she feel at ease.
She quietly followed their car, tailing them all the way.
Alexander had one hand on the steering wheel, and on the smooth road, his other hand held a soft, delicate hand on his thigh.
As Victoria looked at her hand being held, she sensed a burning warmth coursing through her. She didn't like that warm feeling; it made her uneasy.
So she used her other hand to grab his hand and pulled her hand out of his grasp.
Alexander thought she wanted to hold his hand, but when he realized she didn't, he turned to look at her and asked, "What's wrong?"
"I don't like holding hands," Victoria explained softly, putting her hand in her coat pocket and turning her head to look at the roadside.
Alexander's phone rang, and he immediately answered on speaker, "What's up?"
"Isabella is behind you."
"Got it." Alexander quickly hung up.
Victoria also heard and instinctively turned her head.
Sure enough, in the rearview mirror, a red luxury car was following them.
Victoria frowned as she thought, 'Why is Isabella so annoying? It seems like Ican never shake off her.'
Seeing her anger, Alexander spoke softly, "I've talked to her."
Victoria turned to look at him.
Alexander continued seriously, "But it didn't work."
Victoria turned her head back to the window, feeling frustrated.
Of course, it wouldn't work. Isabella was a very obsessive person, even...
Victoria thought, to put it nicely, Isabella was obsessive; to put it bluntly, she was a psycho.
Isabella was self-centered, thinking she was the unique existence in the world and everyone should revolve around her.
"Victoria," Alexander suddenly spoke in a deep voice.
Victoria listened but didn't turn to look at him.
He said, "Can we just live our own lives?"
Victoria thought for a moment, then turned to look at him and seriously asked, "You mean we live our lives and let her create all kinds of trouble for me?"
"With Frank around, she can't hurt you," Alexander reminded.
Victoria pondered for a moment, then just smiled faintly, "Alright."
Alexander turned to look at her.
Victoria's gentle yet sharp eyes met his, and she seriously said, "But her following me already disrupts my life. How can I live a peaceful life with you?"
The car slowly pulled over to the side of the road, and Alexander turned to look at her.
Victoria remained calm and suddenly asked him, "You said you love me, right?"
"Yes," Alexander replied.
