Chapter 529 Mr. Harrington, Mrs. Harrington Was back
"""Alright, Sir,"" the staff replied.
Alexander didn't leave the hotel right away. Instead, he headed up to the top-floor suite.
He hadn't been here in ages either.
He didn't expect her to bail tonight.
He couldn't picture her shivering in some other city.
To him, she was unreliable.
He thought at twenty-three, she'd be a bit immature but not so flaky when it came to serious stuff.
She used to cling to him so much.
Even if she saw something that night...
Alexander felt a chill, his cold gaze turning even icier.
Yet, he could still see her sleeping soundly on that big bed, even remembering her soft hums.
He thought, 'It's maddening. She said she was an orphan and claimed she was Felicity. She wants to be happy, huh? The more she wants happiness, the more I want to ruin it for her.'
Suddenly, a phone rang in the room, and it took Alexander a moment to snap out of it.
He answered, ""Hello? I'll be right back.""
It was a call from The Harrington Mansion, so he left the hotel.
As his car passed the hotel entrance, Alexander saw Tessa still there and pulled over. ""Get in.""
Tessa was surprised but quickly got in the car.
She sat in the back.
He drove to a spot near the sea, not far from The Harrington Mansion, and then slowly stopped the car.
""Why did you stop?"" Tessa asked, worriedly eyeing Alexander.
He said nothing, just gripped the steering wheel and stared at the sea.
He got out, leaned against the car, and lit a cigarette.
The sea breeze was strong, and he silently held the cigarette between his long fingers.
Tessa could tell that he was unhappy. She thought, 'Is he planning to kill me? I haven't done anything.'
After finishing his cigarette, Alexander turned around, opened the car door, and commanded in a deep voice, ""Get out.""
Tessa softly said, ""Mr. Harrington, Mr. Beaumont and I are very close.""
Alexander understood and repeated, ""Get out.""
""Alright."" Tessa agreed and got out, shrinking her body.
Alexander ordered, ""Sit in the front.""
After almost being scared to death, it turned out he just wanted her to sit in the front?
Tessa immediately breathed a sigh of relief and obediently sat in the front.
The car set off again, and they soon arrived at the Harrington Old Mansion.
""Mr. Harrington is back. Is this Mrs. Hughes?"" the butler, Mason Shaba, asked, unsure.
""Hello, I'm Tessa."" She greeted Mason.
Mason nodded with a smile but leaned closer to Alexander, whispering, ""Mr. Harrington, Mrs. Harrington is back.""
""Yeah."" Alexander glanced at Tessa.
Tessa immediately became cautious again, feeling that Mason wasn't talking about her.
But wasn't Alexander's wife dead?
Recently, there were rumors in the city that the person who died at the Regal Retreat entrance was his wife.

Felicity said, ""Mrs. Eloise Harrington, you...""
Eloise interrupted her, ""Don't call me Mrs. Eloise Harrington.""
Felicity said helplessly, ""Alright, Eloise.""
Eloise said angrily, ""If you call me Mrs. Harrington again, you're just trying to anger me to death.""
""Eloise, don't say that. I'm really not your granddaughter-in-law.""
""If you say that again, I'll be mad too,"" Eloise pouted like a child.
At home, it was just Arabella and Eloise. Arabella couldn't help but stare at the so-called Felicity, asking, ""Victoria, how did you end up as an actress?""
""It pays well,"" Felicity said, showing her love for money.
Eloise and Arabella looked at her, puzzled.
She wasn't exactly broke.
""If you need money, you can ask Alex, Arabella, or me,"" Eloise said, worried Felicity might actually need cash.
Though it didn't seem likely.
Felicity replied, ""But we're just strangers.""
""If you say that again, I'll be furious. My head is spinning,"" Eloise said, getting more upset and putting a hand to her forehead.
""Ms. Katherine is right. We are strangers,"" a cold voice suddenly interrupted the quiet, interesting scene in the living room.
The three women turned to see who it was.
""What's going on?"" Eloise was stunned to see a woman following Alexander.
Alexander walked over and sat on one side of the long sofa. ""Tessa and I got our marriage certificate this morning. She's your granddaughter-in-law now.""
Tessa greeted politely, ""Hello, Eloise, Arabella.""
Arabella and Eloise stared at Tessa, stunned.
They felt a chill.
They couldn't help but look at Felicity. Tessa also looked at the girl sitting between Eloise and Arabella and smiled. ""It's you. We meet again.""
Arabella asked curiously, ""You know each other?""
Tessa nodded. ""Yes, I met this Miss in the restroom of the Frosty Summit Hotel restaurant.""
Felicity stood up and extended her hand to Tessa. ""Hello, I'm Felicity.""
""I'm Tessa."" Tessa found the handshake quite novel.
Seeing Tessa's beaming face, Felicity couldn't help but smile.
""Ms. Katherine, why are you at our house?"" Alexander suddenly asked coldly, breaking the harmonious atmosphere.
""I invited her,"" Arabella said. She had stopped Felicity from leaving.
Alexander glanced at Arabella and then lowered his eyes, looking perpetually unhappy.
Arabella asked Alexander, ""Then why is Ms. Hughes at our house?""
""Alex invited me,"" Tessa said, looking at Alexander for confirmation.
Arabella and Eloise were unhappy and couldn't accept her calling Alexander ""Alex.""
But he sat there calmly, really asking for trouble.
But tonight's atmosphere wasn't right for a fight.
Tessa felt a bit awkward seeing everyone sitting, so she asked, ""Can I sit down and talk?""
""Okay,"" Arabella agreed.
Arabella thought, 'The Hughes Family is a scholarly family, and now Tessa, the heiress, is my daughter-in-law.'
Arabella found it amusing. She had no idea her daughter-in-law had changed.
Looking at Alexander's indifferent appearance, Arabella became more annoyed and directly asked, ""Alexander, don't you plan to explain? Did you really marry Mrs. Hughes?""
Alexander turned to Tessa sitting next to him. ""Did you bring the marriage certificate?""
Tessa nodded. ""I brought it."""
