Chapter 899 His Dominance and Arrogance

It was late at night, and it was raining outside when Victoria's doorbell rang.

Victoria gently comforted Strawberry and got out of bed, puzzled.

On the August night, if it weren't for the air conditioning, the house would have been quite stuffy.

As she left her room, there was no sound from Eve's room. Wondering what was going on, she went downstairs.

The wind and rain outside were pretty intense. Victoria stood at the door and checked the surveillance, immediately feeling anxious.

It seemed to be Alexander.

But why did Alexander come?

He didn't say anything, just showed up like this.

And on a rainy night.

Victoria's hand rested on the door, suddenly feeling a bit weak.

Olivia said the Harrington family was already preparing his birthday party. Shouldn't he be at the Harrington Mansion now?

Why would he show up here?

Victoria suddenly felt helpless but quickly regained her composure.

She turned around, her expression slowly shifting from confusion to realization.

With her hand against the door behind her, thinking to herself that she couldn't open the door.

If she opened the door for him, what would that mean?

They had already separated and could never be together again.

Alexander had already come once, and now he came again, on such a day.

Victoria knew it was likely her wishful thinking, but she didn't want to take even a little risk.

She firmly held onto this belief in her heart and walked back inside.

"Mrs. Harrington, aren't you going to open the door?"

"No."

Eve came out just in time, making Victoria suspicious. After coldly refusing, she went upstairs.

Eve stood on the stairs watching Victoria. As Victoria walked up, she turned back and said, "You are not allowed to open the door for him."

"But today is Mr. Harrington's birthday." Eve reminded her.

"Not even for his birthday."

Victoria said ruthlessly and walked towards the bedroom. At the bedroom door, she turned back again, "If you want to celebrate his birthday with him, do it outside. My house is not welcoming."

Victoria was pretty sure that Eve knew Alexander was coming.

Otherwise, how could Eve have come out just as she was about to go back to her room?

With Eve and Frank's sharpness, they should have come out when the doorbell rang.

There was one reason: they knew exactly who was standing at the door.

Eve didn't dare to open the door. She glanced at the door and then went back inside.

But the door was opened.

A gust of wind came in with Alexander's tall figure. His dark clothes were wet on the shoulders.

Victoria stood in her room, hearing the commotion outside, and immediately walked out.

Alexander stood in the living room, looking up just in time to see her come out, standing where he could see her.

She was only wearing a large blue shirt.

Alexander's eyes narrowed slightly as he took long strides toward the stairs.

"Don't come up."

Victoria stood upstairs, gripping the handrail, and spoke to him.

But his response was just his body moving forward.

The closer he got, the more stubbornly Victoria stood her ground.

She had thought about escaping into her room and closing the door to avoid facing him.

But why should she?

This was her house.

He came as he pleased; why should she be afraid of him?

Not only was she not afraid, but she also wanted to confront him.

Alexander walked up and stood not far from her, looking at her indifferently and asking, "Whose shirt is this?"

"It's not yours, anyway."

Victoria quickly raised her hand to hug her arms, then looked at him stubbornly and defensively, "I didn't let you in."

"In five minutes, my birthday will be over."

Alexander said lightly, looking at the time on his wristwatch.

Victoria didn't understand what he meant by that and said, "Happy birthday, you can leave now."

"I want to see Strawberry."

"Strawberry is asleep."

"Victoria, within five minutes, I want you to sing me a birthday song."

"What?"

Victoria looked at him in disbelief.

But he quickly approached her.

He grabbed her wrist, folding it behind her back, then held her face, and his cold lips pressed against hers.

Victoria's mind felt like it exploded.

Alexander kissed her forcefully and dominantly, without any pity or sympathy.

Victoria's mind was buzzing, and her heart felt like it was about to jump out.

What was he doing?

What did he just say?

Victoria's mind was in chaos. One hand was folded against his chest, trying to push him away, but he kissed her even harder.

Soon she tasted blood, warm and fresh.

Her breathing started to tremble, and then her body began to shake.

She had no idea how they ended up like this.

There were many people in the house, but no one dared to come out.

Why did everyone submit to Alexander?

The more Victoria thought about it, the angrier she got. She wanted to push him away, but Alexander teased her lips and tongue.

Alexander finally released her hand folded behind her back, holding her in his arms and kissing her more gently. Victoria caught her breath, her misty eyelashes slowly lifting, barely seeing his cold expression.

Alexander stopped but still exuded an intimidating aura.

Victoria's legs were weak, and she wanted to retreat but was about to fall.

Before she fell, her calf was lifted.

Suddenly, her vision blurred, and when it cleared, she found herself lying on the bed in the guest room.

Alexander knelt on one knee, leaning close to her, his long fingers gripping her collar and questioning, "Whose shirt is this?"

"I'll sing you a birthday song."

Victoria, with tears in her eyes, barely made a sound.

It was just a birthday song, after all.

He didn't need to be so rough.

"Do you think all I want now is just a birthday song?"

He held her chin and kissed her hard again.

Victoria's hands pressed against his neck, resisting with all her might, but Alexander had already torn open two buttons of her shirt.

Victoria felt something slide across her skin and immediately dared not move, obediently controlling even her breathing.

Alexander, holding the fabric at her chest, suddenly stopped.

The surroundings were dark.

He only heard Victoria let out a suppressed moan, then he lowered his head and sucked hard on her neck.

Victoria's breath was blocked, and she couldn't help but let out another moan.

But Alexander, hearing this, sucked again, this time softer, tinged with a hint of gentleness.

Victoria barely caught her breath, tears quickly falling from the corners of her eyes.

Did he fly all the way here just to vent to her on his birthday night?

So, what did he take her for?

A wife?

No, thinking that now was just too ridiculous.

Alexander's thin lips lingered on her collarbone, but she couldn't come to her senses. Why should she suffer humiliation just because she fell in love with him first? Did that mean she couldn't even have dignity?

Victoria suddenly lost all strength, letting him take what he wanted.

The blood on her lips grew fuller, and she heard the sound of a belt being unbuckled, feeling the chill on her body increasing.
