Chapter 561 Victoria, As Long As You're Alive, Our Business Isn't Over
It was inside the President's Office in Harrington Group office building.
On the large couch, Alexander's long body was on the outside, and he was holding Victoria inside in his arms.
He held a document in his hand, with coffee and a pen on the table beside him.
Victoria was quietly sleeping at the moment.
Alexander finished reading five documents and, afraid of waking her, carefully placed them on the table.
But Victoria still woke up. She touched his chest twice, feeling the heat, and immediately opened her eyes.
"Awake?" Alexander's pleasant voice sounded.
Victoria looked at him, her eyelashes involuntarily fluttering, and her heartbeat quickened.
She immediately tried to get up, but her shoulder was held down by him, and she fell back.
"Let go of me." Victoria was very angry, but her voice was still so soft and endearing. She knew holding her like this must be tiring for him too.
"I missed you." Alexander looked at her for a few seconds and suddenly said.
Victoria was stunned momentarily and took a while to react. "What nonsense are you talking about?"
"I missed you a lot," Alexander continued, and after speaking, he kissed her on the forehead.
Victoria silently lowered her eyes, feeling his lips on her forehead, her eyes moistening again.
She didn't know why he suddenly acted so affectionate. Alexander insisted on holding her in his arms while reading documents. She struggled for a while and then fell into a drowsy sleep.
His embrace was so warm; she hadn't felt this warm in a long time.
Soon, he pressed his forehead against hers, letting her feel his breath. She wanted to avoid it, slightly tilting her head. Unexpectedly, it was just enough for his lips to press against hers.
At that moment, Victoria held her breath for at least five seconds, not daring to exhale.
The feeling was very strange. She should have hated it, even if nothing happened between him and Isabella and it was all Isabella's schemes.
However, she had already decided never to touch a man again.
Alexander gently kissed her lips, the feeling incredibly tender and cherished.
He murmured, "Come with me to see her."
"I don't want to." Victoria turned around.
But before she could turn her back to him, he pressed her into the couch.
"You need to clear my name," Alexander said.
Victoria looked at him puzzled. "What name?"
"I never liked any other woman, but you always misunderstood," Alexander replied.
Victoria's heartbeat suddenly stopped.
After a few seconds, her mouth barely moved, but she forgot what to say, and then he kissed her again.
He kissed her slowly, patiently, occasionally touching her with his tongue, occasionally saying, "Victoria, come with me."
"I..."
That word was always swallowed by his kiss, unable to come out.
And as he kissed, he started to move his hands. Her dress was already lifted by him.
"Come with me," Alexander repeated.
"I..."
"What?"
"Alexander," Victoria called out.
This time, he didn't interrupt her with a kiss.
Instead, he pressed his forehead against hers, full of affection. "I'm here."
He longed for her to call him like that, as if it had been several lifetimes.
Victoria, kissed into a daze, returned to her senses, finding herself already at the entrance of the high-end club of the Frosty Summit Hotel.
They walked inside, but Victoria clutched the seatbelt, refusing to get out. Unable to defy him, Victoria thought for a moment, then suddenly teared up and said softly, "I'll wait here for you to come back from your date with Isabella, I promise, okay?"
Alexander was speechless. He unbuckled his seatbelt and helped her with hers, leaning close to her, holding her face and looking at her.
Victoria immediately looked pitifully at him. "Do you really have to make me see her? You know how much I hate her."
"I promise I won't let you be sad, okay?" Alexander said.
Victoria asked, "Can I trust your promise?"
Her long eyelashes fluttered as she continued to speak coquettishly.
"At least this time you can," Alexander said.
Victoria felt a sense of powerlessness around him, especially with his warm hands holding her face.
She looked at him for a few seconds, then lowered her head. "Can't I wait here? If you're afraid I'll run away, lock the car door. I promise I'll wait here for you, I..."
As she said she would wait for him, Alexander couldn't help but kiss her again.
He really wanted to keep kissing her to make up for all the lost time in the past half year.
"If I agree not to take you up now, would you even promise to give yourself to me tonight?" After kissing, he looked at her and asked.
Victoria was stunned. She thought, 'Give myself to you? Tonight?'
She didn't think so. She would call someone to rescue her as soon as he left.
——
Isabella ordered a drink and was seriously reading the description.
She had waited for a long time, yet Alexander still didn't show up. Isabella decided to go out and see. To her surprise, she saw a couple kissing in the car in front.
Although their faces were obscured by their embrace, she knew it was Alexander and Victoria.
Isabella thought, 'How can he let that bitch know he came to see me?That bitch would definitely use all her tricks to seduce him and stop him from seeing me.'
However, Isabella suddenly thought that Victoria had been seducing Alexander for so long and still wasn't pregnant. She thought, 'Could Victoria be infertile? If that's the case...'
In the car, Alexander stopped the kiss, feeling the mist in his eyes growing thicker, holding her face and softly asking, "Then we won't see her today, okay?"
Victoria nodded coquettishly. "Okay."
The car window was slightly rolled down, and Isabella saw clearly that Victoria was obviously playing tricks, but Alexander softened. What could she do?
Isabella thought, an idea suddenly popping up into her mind. She took off her coat, hung it on her arm, and pretended to make a phone call, saying, "I'll be right there, okay, talk to you later."
She hung up, then turned her head and said in surprise, "Victoria?"
Victoria was sitting in the passenger seat, but Alexander's half-embrace blocked most of her view. Hearing the voice, she instinctively looked over.
Alexander also turned to look.
Outside, Isabella was wearing a long-sleeved shirt and a skirt, her long legs looking particularly alluring under the lights.
She walked to the car door, smiling with relief, "Alexander, you're here, but I'm sorry, something urgent came up tonight; we'll have to reschedule our date."
Alexander lowered his eyes and smiled faintly, not speaking, but his expression indicated she could do as she pleased.
Isabella glanced at Victoria through the window, seeing that Victoria didn't dare look at her, and said, "Victoria, long time no see. I heard you became a big star recently, congratulations."
"Let's go." Victoria gently pushed Alexander, reminding him to drive away quickly.
Alexander immediately sat back, but before sitting back, he rolled up the window for her, then drove away.
Isabella was still standing there.
No matter how strong the cold wind was, it couldn't blow away the sense of humiliation in her heart.
She thought, 'Victoria, as long as you're alive, our business is not over.'
