Chapter 455 Three Men
"What do you mean?" Alexander asked.
"We're here to discharge you," Edward replied.
"I still need to stay for observation overnight," Alexander said.
"But I phoned the president. He suggested you be discharged tonight," Edward replied.
In the evening, Edward, Benjamin, and Olivia suddenly arrived at the ward.
Alexander leaned against the headboard, grimacing when hearing whatthey talked about.
Victoria remained nearby. She eventually ventured forward and nervously asked, "Did the president really say Mr. Harrington could be discharged?"
"Yes." Edward nodded immediately.
Victoria raised her chin slightly and then looked at Alexander.
Alexander laughed angrily. "Fine, discharge me. Well, forget whether I get suffocated at night. Check my breathing in the morning if I can't still breathe."
Edward and Benjamin suddenly frowned.
However, Olivia couldn't help but laugh. She said, "Victoria will take care of you."
Alexander's eyes lit up immediately.
Victoria asked surprisedly, "Why must I care for him after discharge?"
"Because the president also said he shouldn't be left alone at home," Edward quickly explained.
Alexander's grim face finally softened a bit.
Luckily, they weren't completely stupid.
As Alexander breathed a sigh of relief, Edward and Benjamin also relaxed, but...
"Why don't you guys take care of him?" Victoria suddenly asked.
"We? Three men together?" Edward retorted in panic.
"Why not? Aren't you guys often together?" Victoria added.
Olivia stood by, enjoying the drama.
"Victoria, you might not understand. Although we hang out a lot, we don't have the habit of sleeping together." Edward almost laughed totears, trying not to scare Victoria.
An age difference of five years was well enough for gays.
"Really? But since he's sick, you guys could take care of him," Victoria said.
"This..." Edward couldn't retort.
"Of course, you're the most suitable," Benjamin smiled modestly as he said.
"However, I may not sleep close to him as much as you guys," Victoria retorted.
Victoria knew they wanted her to do it, but these guys often slept together as kids.
The three men's faces turned a bit sour, and they fell silent.
It sounded like she was implying they were gay.
There were already enough rumors about the three of them, and now Victoria was saying it too. They were almost crying.
Edward couldn't take it again, especially with Olivia standing right there. After thinking for a moment, he sighed. "When a husband is sick, the wife must take care of him. It should always be that way."
"But what if this wife was handed divorce papers?" Victoria asked again.
Perhaps since they were in a ward, everyone spoke quietly.
"That was a misunderstanding." Edward was really about to cry. He didn't want to be harsh on Victoria because she looked innocent and pathetic.
"How might I tell if there was a misunderstanding as an outsider?" Victoria said, blinking her eyes as if she was about to cry.
Edward gasped, being unsure what to do.
Benjamin was also startled.
Only Olivia knew Victoria was acting, trying to get their sympathy so they would take care of Alexander.
Of course, Alexander knew it, too.
When Victoria's voice became pitiful, he realized something was wrong. He turned to see her pretending to be pitiful. Within two seconds, he immediately shouted, "All of you, get out!"
