Chapter 962 She Lay in a Pool of Blood
"Alexander."
Victoria continued to murmur his name.
Alexander looked at her dazed expression and suddenly seemed to understand what she meant by that sentence. He had to concede, "Saying my name means you love me?"
Victoria was too embarrassed to speak.
Alexander then kissed her lips and reminded her, "If you don't say anything, I'll take it as a yes."
Victoria clamped her mouth shut even tighter, and Alexander's heart burned with passion, quickly fulfilling his desire.
He could no longer torture himself because she couldn't say those three words.
At least physically, they could quickly satisfy each other.
Then, in a daze, Victoria saw something familiar and heavy around his neck.
It dangled in front of her eyes, and then it returned to her hand.
The next morning, Victoria woke up to see the wedding ring on her hand, feeling like she was in a dream.
How did it end up back on her hand?
She didn't want to be bound again.
"Good morning."
A kiss landed on her cheek, and Alexander's voice sounded in her ear.
Everything from last night replayed like an old movie in her mind.
Victoria turned around and saw the new clothes she had bought already on him. They fit him well.
She liked the comfortable fabric, and his physique always made anything look good.
She raised her hand to gently touch the strands of hair on his forehead. She had just switched to a new shampoo, which made her hair feel particularly light and soft after washing.
Her hand slowly pressed against his forehead, "Alexander."
"What's wrong?"
"You seem to have a bit of a fever?"
His forehead was a bit warm, but after checking, it was below 99 degrees Fahrenheit, so Victoria felt relieved.
Alexander sighed and looked at her, saying, "I wish I could just die here from this illness."
Victoria's heart skipped a beat. "You're not delirious, but you're talking nonsense."
"That way, I could stay a few more days."
Alexander murmured and pulled her hand over, gently rubbing her fingertips.
Her fingertips were slightly cool, and Alexander couldn't help but squeeze a little harder.
Victoria cried out in pain. "It's hurt!"
Alexander looked up and met her gaze. "Try pinching me, let me feel how much it hurts."
He was lying in bed, lazy and a bit cheeky.
Victoria looked at him but did nothing in the end.
Soon, Strawberry came over, and Alexander stopped being lazy. He got up and hugged Strawberry, kissing her repeatedly, then said, "How about I get you a little sister?"
Strawberry giggled but shook her head.
Alexander frowned but remained gentle, "You don't like a little sister?"
Victoria's heart skipped a beat, thinking, 'Is he already considering a second child?'
But last night, he hadn't forgotten to use contraception, which made Victoria feel much better.
"Then do you want a little brother?"
Alexander thought for a moment and asked again.
Strawberry immediately nodded happily.
Alexander felt a bit displeased, and his expression turned hesitant.
Victoria was also puzzled. Did Strawberry really want a little brother?
She was caught off guard when she suddenly heard, "Strawberry wants a little brother, but I want another daughter. I've already picked out her name."
Victoria looked at him skeptically.
"Sunny," Alexander said.
"But I think that name is a bit too simple. Maybe we should choose another one?"
Victoria's first thought was this.
Alexander stared straight at Victoria until she awkwardly looked away, "I don't mean I want to have another child; I was just making a suggestion."
Victoria said with difficulty, then got up and left.
Alexander didn't look down at Strawberry until Victoria disappeared at the door, murmuring, "It seems your mom also wants to give you a sibling."
But soon, his eyes turned sharp and cold, unable to understand why he had such a dream at night, a dream where Victoria lay in a pool of blood.
