Chapter 572 Don't Move, Your Button Is Not Done Right

Victoria shook her head and refused, "I don't want to."

Alexander said, "Then stay right there."

"Okay," Victoria agreed readily.

But on a day of torrential rain, how could they possibly keep their distance?

In just the blink of an eye, Alexander's head was resting on her two slender legs.

It turned out Alexander told her not to move just so he could lie on her legs.

Victoria was speechless for a long time until he looked at the movie and said, "This is nice."

To be honest, Alexander didn't sleep well last night. With her in his arms, he couldn't calm down at all.

If they didn't take their relationship to the next level soon, he felt like he was going to lose it.

He was already twenty-nine and was still...

He felt a bit frustrated, especially when the movie showed the female lead making love with the male lead in his place. It made him even more upset.

Victoria even heard him sigh, which made her feel a bit awkward too.

"Victoria." Alexander crossed his arms and suddenly turned to face her.

"What's wrong?" Victoria's voice was hoarse, still not fully recovered.

Alexander said, "It looks like the pimple at the corner of your eye is about to pop."

"What?"

"Lower your head a bit, and let me see clearly."

Victoria said, "Okay."

She was startled. No wonder it had been so itchy.

Alexander looked at her for a moment and raised his hand. Victoria thought he was going to touch her pimple, but instead, his hand cupped the back of her head.

When their lips collided, she let out a small cry of pain.

Alexander felt his desire was surging within him, and he could no longer restrain himself. The kiss quickly turned passionate.

The rain was getting heavier. Alexander, on the couch, was no longer satisfied with just a simple kiss.

By the time returned to her senses, Victoria was already lying on the couch, with Alexander pressing half of his body against hers, kissing her again, moving his fingers under her dress.

Victoria instinctively tried to stop him, grabbing his well-defined hand through the fabric. She quickly felt the burning heat of his hand, and her whole face turned red.

The kind of unrestrained intimacy was growing stronger and stronger.

His kiss was still so enchanting as if he had poured all his emotions into it.

Victoria was almost out of breath. Unable to pry his hand away, she pushed against his chest, but it was to no avail.

Her phone on the table started ringing again just as Alexander's kisses moved from her lips to her chin and neck.

She managed to utter, "My phone."

Alexander withdrew his hand from under her dress, but he held onto her wrists, his kisses growing more and more intimate.

Victoria struggled to breathe, barely able to see his face. With her wrists held down, she glanced at her phone.

His knee moved slightly, and her phone fell to the floor.

But he still didn't stop, releasing one of her wrists to unbutton her dress.

"Alexander, please." Victoria had no choice but to plead.

In the movie, the couple suddenly broke up, and Alexander stopped instantly.

The rain outside hadn't let up. He slowly raised his eyes to look at her tear-streaked face.

Seeing her sad and helpless expression, he couldn't continue. He carefully pulled down the dress that had been pushed up to her waist. Only then did Alexander get off her and pick up her phone.

But when he saw the name Adrian, he suddenly couldn't hand the phone to her. Instead, he answered it directly, "What's the matter?"

Adrian didn't answer. Instead, he asked, "Where's Victoria?"

Alexander turned to look at the disheveled Victoria sitting up and buttoning her dress. Her hair was messy, and her eyes were so helpless. Feeling frustrated, he said, "I'll get her to talk to you."

Victoria looked at him in surprise, not expecting him to be so polite all of a sudden.

When she took the phone and saw the screen, she answered, "Adrian."

Just hearing her say "Adrian" made Alexander feel like he couldn't breathe.

She called Adrian so gently.

When he looked down and saw that the button she had just fastened had come undone again, Alexander reached out.

Victoria gasped and tried to dodge.

"Don't move, the button isn't done right." Alexander's voice was faint and weak.

But Adrian, on the other end of the line, suddenly went silent.

Even Victoria was stunned.

The words seemed ordinary, but at this moment, they sounded flirty.

After Adrian hung up, Victoria looked at the man in front of her, then turned and sat down to open the email Dennis had sent her.

Alexander suddenly spoke, "Stick to the original plan. He will be the performer at our wedding."

Victoria turned to look at him.

She almost forgot that yesterday, he had the company release that news. Thinking about it now, she replied seriously, "I won't have a wedding with you."

Alexander sneered, then continued watching the movie where the couple was in the middle of a misunderstanding.

If he remembered correctly, the female lead stayed in the end, saying her time there would be indefinitely extended.

By noon, the rain had lessened a bit. Victoria felt she couldn't leave, so she invited some friends over to hang out.

Her knee was slightly injured. Alexander went to open the door, and when he saw the people standing there, he squinted, not very pleased. "I wasn't planning on having guests."

"Victoria invited us," Olivia told him.

"Why don't you ask your wife?" Edward deliberately used the term "your wife."

Hearing those words, Alexander felt helpless.

Could he kick this group out? Obviously, at least not this time.

Victoria was already in a mood, so having a few people to lighten the atmosphere might be good.

Benjamin and Tessa were at the back. Benjamin told Tessa to talk less, and Tessa was very well-behaved today.

There were also William and Sebastian.

Victoria stood outside the living room, surprised to see them all, especially Sebastian. But she still politely welcomed them, "Welcome, everyone."

Alexander watched from behind the crowd as she suddenly became happy. The frustration he felt from being interrupted dissipated.

Everyone brought gifts, each holding a box of strawberries.

Standing in front of the couch, Alexander looked at the boxes of strawberries on the table and asked unhappily, "Couldn't you find anything else to buy?"

"We bought strawberries because you said Victoria loves them."

"And in this weather, it's actually hard to find strawberries. We went a long way."

"Yes," William, Edward, and Sebastian said.

Victoria was surprised. She thought, 'How many people has Alexander told that she liked strawberries? Will all the fruit gifts we receive be strawberries from now on?'

Meanwhile, outside the Harrington Mansion, a blue car was parked.

The woman inside looked at the mansion from a distance. It was so big she couldn't see anything, but she was still angry. Alexander had invited friends over for dinner. Even Sebastian was invited, but not her.

And when she called him later, his phone was off.

Isabella quickly made a call, "Did you arrange everything I asked for?"
