Chapter 875 Humble Apology, I'm Sorry
Victoria instinctively stood up slowly, following Alexander.
Diana had just come downstairs and saw the scene, then stopped moving forward.
As soon as Alexander left, Victoria nodded to the elders to say goodbye and followed him.
The elders all held their breath and only relaxed after they left.
Arabella couldn't help but mutter, "What's going on?"
"What does Alexander want to do now?" Eloise was puzzled.
Brett frowned deeply, feeling an urge to punch Alexander.
Diana, however, was curious. Victoria said she didn't want to leave, and then Alexander couldn't wait to take her back to Serenade Villa for some intimacy.
Given Victoria's current physical condition, her bones would probably fall apart in a few minutes.
Victoria remained very quiet on the way back.
Alexander also didn't say a word.
The already cramped car felt even more stifling.
Victoria clenched her hands and kept her head down until the car entered Serenade Villa.
"Take all your belongings from here." He said.
Victoria glanced at Alexander, who hadn't looked at her once. She thought he must be angry about her running away. She lowered her head, "Okay."
But how much of this stuff was hers?
Almost everything was bought by him.
But since he said so, she went to pack her things.
"Benjamin and Tessa are getting married. I'll go help out. Wait for me to come back before you leave."
Victoria's eyes lit up slightly. Those two were finally getting together, which was something to celebrate, but she could only send her blessings on Facebook.
So Alexander wasn't going in now?
That was good; Alexander must hate her a lot.
And once he left, she wouldn't have to be so restrained.
She nodded, "Okay."
Victoria got out of the car and walked towards the house.
A servant was waiting for her, but she couldn't help but look back.
His car was gone.
She turned and walked inside, warning herself, 'Victoria, don't provoke him anymore. Do whatever he tells you to do.'
Only then could she see Strawberry.
Thinking of those people who had pinned her down, she was really scared.
She felt utterly humbled as if all her pride had vanished.
Victoria went to the kitchen and took her coffee cup, then went upstairs to get her skincare products.
Anyway, whether she bought them or not, Alexander wouldn't want anything she had used. She thought she should pack everything.
Victoria entered the bedroom and immediately saw the bed they had used.
Her heart clenched instantly, but she knew she couldn't take the bed.
She went into the walk-in closet, where she had two sets of clothes she had bought herself.
She packed them all, ignoring the fancy, expensive wedding dress.
She kept packing until she was dizzy, but couldn't bring herself to stop.
What about the pillow she had slept on?
She looked out from the walk-in closet.
She felt confused but had to keep packing.
When Alexander returned, it was almost midnight.
Some lights were on in the house, but not the brightest ones.
Victoria was in the living room, with several servants standing behind her, all frightened by her constant packing of random things. They wanted to help, but Victoria wouldn't let them.
Alexander walked in, and the servants finally breathed a sigh of relief, "Mr. Harrington, you're back. Mrs. Harrington has been packing things up for some reason. She hasn't eaten dinner and hasn't sipped water."
"Prepare some food."
He said indifferently, then walked over and sat on a single sofa.
Victoria glanced at Alexander, then continued packing.
"You're even taking the throw pillows? Are you planning to empty the whole house?"
Except for him, she wanted everything.
Alexander sneered, resting his elbow on his knee, reaching for the cup on the table, and then looking at her stuffing throw pillows into a box. The pillows were too big, and she seemed to want to press them down to fit more.
Alexander thought Victoria might get bounced out of the box by the pillows and might even get hurt.
"Let me help you."
Alexander suddenly put down the cup, squatted in front of her, and pressed the pillows into the box. Then he looked at the pillow behind her, "Give me that one too."
Victoria looked at him in confusion, then followed his gaze to the pillow behind her and quickly handed it to him.
"Put it on top," Alexander said.
Victoria placed the pillow in his hand, and with a casual press of his thumb and a lift of his other hand, all four pillows were packed into one box, which was quickly sealed.
After finishing, Alexander looked at her, "Do you want to pack the sofa too?"
It was acceptable, but how would she carry such a big thing?
And even if she took it, her house already had furniture, and there wouldn't be room for it.
And if he told her to take the sofa, would she also take the bed?
If she took everything she had used, she wouldn't be able to manage.
She couldn't carry it.
Victoria suddenly felt weak and sat on the carpet under the sofa, staring blankly at his hand on the box.
"I didn't expect you to take so many things, but if you want to, I'll find a way to have someone move everything for you."
At first, Alexander thought Victoria wouldn't want anything.
Victoria had always disliked taking things she hadn't bought herself.
Victoria was stunned, feeling like there was some misunderstanding.
But she didn't dare to ask him.
Alexander took a deep breath, looked around, and then asked, "Have you packed upstairs?"
"Yes." Victoria nodded.
"I'll go check."
He wanted to see what she was planning to take.
He didn't care about the things downstairs but upstairs was where their shared memories resided.
Alexander suddenly let go of the box, and there was a sudden noise.
Victoria was sitting on the floor, and the pillows in the box bounced up and hit her face, right on her forehead wound.
Alexander turned back, immediately stepped forward, grabbed her hand, and pulled her up, "Why are you sitting on the floor?"
Victoria looked up, but her dizziness made her vision blurry. She had no strength and was being lifted as if she would be thrown. But he didn't seem to realize her condition, and he quickly used his other hand to hold her.
Victoria felt like her body was about to fall apart. She clung tightly to Alexander, and when she unintentionally looked up, she was slowly placed back on the floor, and he stood up.
He looked down at her with frustration, "If you can't do it yourself, ask someone for help. Did I tell you to make yourself like this?"
"I'm sorry."
Victoria apologized humbly.
