Chapter 490 You Were Not the Type I Like

"I was scolded for returning late. On a night like this, they may have poured two glasses of red wine and spent a couple or even a dozen hours together,"

Alexander complained about his girlfriend as a spoiled boy.

Then he got bitten.

Victoria was almost exhausted by his teasing remarks and Adam's apple move.

So she suddenly hooked his shoulder and attacked.

"You bit me." Alexander automatically looked up when being bitten. After Victoria bit him and was still upset, he needed several seconds to lower his eyes and look at her. He questioned her conduct.

"Yeah, I might as well bite you to death," Victoria said as she started pushing him, trying to get him off her.

But the next second, her wrists were firmly restrained and raised above her head. He sneered, suppressing his anger, and said in a deep voice, "Bite me to death? Let's see who bites whom to death."

Before she could curse him, he sealed her lips with a fierce kiss.

Meanwhile, in the private room of the club, three men stared at a phone on the table. Eventually, Benjamin ended the call.

Then they fell into a two-minute silence.

"Setting aside that little fight between a man and a woman, don't you think Alexander has been acting like he's in love lately?" Edward kept frowning, feeling like his mind was already tainted.

"I think he looks like he's heartbroken," Benjamin said.

Edward and William turned to look at him, and Benjamin continued, "Victoria may be young, but she might not accept a little imp."

"A little imp?"

"A little imp?"

Edward and William said in unison, full of surprise.

Benjamin looked at the two men sitting beside him in disappointment, then helplessly pinched his brow.

What to do without reliable men around?

Edward's phone suddenly rang, and they calmed down and stared at his phone.

Edward saw it was Facebook, his expression darkened, and he immediately picked up the phone.

"Alexander?" William leaned over to see.

Edward glanced at Facebook and immediately stood up. "I have to go."

Benjamin watched him leave in a hurry and remained silent.

"Who do you think it is?" William was curious. Who could have called him away with just one message?

Damn weather!

"Olivia," Benjamin said flatly.

"How do you know?" William asked.

"Ever since Olivia came back, he's been holding his phone, waiting," Benjamin replied.

"Waiting for Olivia's message?" William asked again.

"Yes." Benjamin nodded.

"Does he like Olivia?" William asked.

"If he didn't, would he go out in this weather to find her?" Benjamin asked back.

Or was he helping a good friend? If a girl's car broke down on the road in this weather, wouldn't we help too?"

William said, stroking his chin and convincing himself.

Benjamin stared at him and then smiled helplessly.

But he was curious. Alexander was always rolling around in bed with Victoria, yet was he still a virgin?

Meanwhile, Alexander, whom he was thinking about, was standing by the bed with his shirt unbuttoned, angrily staring at the girl sitting on the bed.

"Why do you have a fruit knife by the bed?" Alexander asked.

To be precise, she had taken it out from the gap in the headboard.

"To guard against thieves," Victoria replied.

Victoria held the 7-inch fruit knife with both hands.

"Guarding against me now?" Alexander was furious.

Victoria looked gentle but was truly ruthless.

"If you're a thief, then yes," Victoria replied.

The fruit knife's blade was still hidden. It was a foldable green one that looked more like a toy. But Alexander recognized it, so he backed off from her.

Both of them had some injuries.

Victoria's lips were bitten, and her neck was covered in hickeys.

Alexander had two scratch marks on his chest, and his Adam's apple had a noticeable bite mark.

She didn't open the knife, but she still clutched it, pointing it at him.

He didn't realize that she had started storing fruit knives, chile, oil, pepper spray, and other self-defense equipment in the house after getting harmed.

She was aware of the gender strength gap. She might be bullied again, but she was prepared. Would she win if lucky?

She didn't want to be at anyone's mercy again.

A single girl's house should have some self-defense items.

"Open the knife," Alexander suddenly said.

Victoria stared at him, then looked at the fruit knife. She gripped it tightly but had no intention of opening it.

How could she point the blade at him?

"Leave. I don't want to hurt you," Victoria said softly.

After she cooled down and noticed the long scratch on his chest, none of them had won their fight.

"Do you know how many times I could have forced myself on you since the day we got married?"

Alexander suddenly asked.

Victoria looked at him in confusion.

He sneered. "But every time, I stopped."

Victoria didn't know what he was trying to express. His mercy?

"I used to think we needed a chance. Now I think…" Alexander said.

"What?" Victoria puzzled.

"You are not the type I like." He suddenly raised his hand and took off his shirt.

Victoria was stunned.

He started taking off his pants, and Victoria immediately got nervous again, "Why are you taking off your clothes?"

"I already said you are not the type I like. What are you afraid of?" He took off all his clothes, leaving only his underwear, and walked past the foot of the bed.

Honestly, Alexander had a great body.

She accidentally glanced at him, quickly lowered her head, but still caught a glimpse of his firm butt.

Victoria wanted to slap herself. While he went to the bathroom, she quickly put down the knife and pulled down the skirt that had ridden up her waist.

Ten minutes later, he came out wearing new pants and a shirt.

She was standing by the window, video-chatting with Eloise. She looked up and saw him coming out, fully dressed, and quickly heading for the bedroom door.

He didn't look at her again, like a hotel guest who had already checked out.

"It looks like your husband, Alexander," Eloise said.

As he opened the door, a familiar voice suddenly sounded.

Victoria turned to look at him and reminded him, "It's Grandma."

Alexander still had a cold expression, but he walked back, glanced at the video, and forced a smile, "Do you need something?"

"Why the long face? Victoria is so sweet; don't scare her," Eloise said.

"She's brave. She won't be scared. If you don't need anything, I'll leave now," Alexander said and left.

Eloise asked Victoria, "What's wrong with your husband?"

She watched his back until the door closed from the outside and softly explained, "It's my fault."
