Chapter 934 Don't Ask a Man Such Questions Casually
Diana felt utterly desperate.
She was just thinking that Alexander and Victoria should reconcile, and she should also work hard on her matters.
But now Juliette was pregnant.
She felt her palms sweating. "I have to go."
She quickly stood up; she couldn't stay there any longer.
Due to her lack of composure. She couldn't be like Victoria, who could sit quietly after hearing such news.
"That's not my child." He added.
Diana froze, her back hunching involuntarily, and she slowly turned to look at him. "What do you mean?"
"It means I broke up with Juliette." He replied.
Diana's dainty lips nearly parted; she struggled to contain her excitement and refrain from revealing too much. In fact, she was eager to open a bottle of champagne to celebrate right now.
She looked at him for a while, seeing his gentlemanly demeanor, and couldn't help but sit back down, staring at him and asking, "Doesn't feel good to be betrayed by a lover, does it?"
"Well, you have more experience with that, don't you?" He replied lightly.
"You even made her the soup I love. If she hadn't suddenly gotten pregnant, she probably would have taken over your bed too, right?"
Diana was extremely excited, but Curtis just smiled without saying anything.
"What? Is this a cause for celebration? Are you still grinning?"Diana immediately tried to pinch his face, but Curtis agilely dodged and grabbed her wrist. "I broke up with Juliette, but that doesn't mean we can continue to be together."
Diana was instantly disappointed.
In a brief span, she had experienced moments of torment and ecstasy repeatedly."Do you want some soup? I'll get you a bowl."
"I don't want to eat someone else's leftovers."
"Juliette explained that she declined the meal due to her pregnancy, hence refraining from consuming it."Diana then muttered, "Alright, then please get me a bowl."
"Okay." Curtis didn't say anything else and got up to get her some soup.
She slowly sat back down and felt strange for some reason.
Curtis's breaking up was always a good thing.
At least she had another chance.
And she glanced at the sexy lingerie in the suitcase on the floor; he must have seen it.
'He knew my figure; Let's observe how long he could withstand the temptation.'Thinking of this, she suddenly grabbed two pieces of lingerie and ran inside.
When she came out of his room, he had already packed up her suitcase and stood it upright. Knowing she came out of the bedroom, he only said, "Go drink it."
"Okay."
Diana sat on the couch, watching him tidy up her things, and couldn't help but say, "Thanks for packing my suitcase."
"You're welcome," Curtis replied, sitting back in his original spot.
They were sitting so close that Diana wanted to pounce on him.
Perhaps due to his profession, he always exuded a deceptive charm, making it hard for her to see the real person behind the smile."It's really good, honestly. Did you make this especially for me?"
She leaned closer, shoulder to shoulder with him.
"Ladies ought to uphold their dignity."He lightly reminded her not to get too close.
Diana grunted in dissatisfaction, sat a bit farther away, but couldn't help but look at him and smiled, "Can you sleep alone at night?"
Curtis sighed helplessly and kindly reminded her, "Don't casually ask men that kind of question."
