Chapter 895 What Do You Want? Anything Is Possible

Victoria looked at Alexander intently, wanting to confirm first.

Alexander's eyes were gentle. He raised his hand to softly brush away the stray hair that had fallen in front of her face, taking his time to confirm with her.

"Is it true?" Victoria was anxious.

She hated it the most when he deliberately didn't answer her while she was in a hurry.

Alexander lowered his eyes to look at the lock of hair she had cut short in his hand and softly said, "Yes."

Victoria's eyes immediately welled up with intense emotions. She then grabbed his shoulders and leaned in to plant a light kiss on his lips.

Alexander felt something roaring in his heart. He gently pressed his hand on her thin back and softly said after her lips left him, "I left Strawberry with you, and all I get is a light kiss?"

"What do you want? Anything is possible."

Victoria lowered her eyes, lying in his arms without leaving.

At that moment, even if he wanted her to undress completely and lie to him to satisfy him, it wouldn't matter.

Alexander had anticipated her words, but he didn't expect to feel this way upon hearing them.

He continued to gently stroke her hair, "Don't cut your hair randomly anymore."

"Okay." She lowered her head and agreed.

"You need to take care of yourself." He added.

Victoria kept her eyes lowered, not daring to meet his gaze. But when he reminded her to take care of herself, she replied, "Okay."

"Victoria, don't just agree with me verbally."

He lifted her chin, looking at her haggard appearance, and reminded her.

"You too."

She had always been afraid to say it, afraid to think too much about him. She was terrified of her wishful thinking, but this time seeing him, he had lost a lot of weight.

She choked up, burying her head even lower.

Upon hearing her words, Alexander's eyes darkened as if a tsunami had passed. In an instant, he suddenly embraced her and flipped her over, pressing her under his body.

"Did you miss me?" He asked.

Victoria's arms were wrapped around him, her eyes filled with a hint of fear. But soon, she lowered her gaze once more.

Did she miss him?

Why would she miss him?

She didn't dare.

But she was grateful to him for saying he would leave Strawberry with her.

"Blame me for talking too much. How could you miss me?"

Alexander murmured, slowly pressing his forehead against hers.

Victoria controlled her breathing, not daring to move.

When he put away his hostility, he seemed like a good person.

But she didn't know when he would suddenly unleash his fury and tear someone apart.

"Do you wish you never had to see me again in this life?"

He asked her softly.

Victoria felt tormented, especially at this moment, feeling his weight, his warmth, his breath, and his gentle caresses.

Did she wish she never had to see him again in this life?

That's not completely accurate.

"It doesn't matter, I brought this on myself."

Alexander said softly, not wanting to pressure her anymore.

He wanted to kiss her, but after trying repeatedly and holding back each time, he finally got off her.

"Strawberry will stay with you for now. I'll send someone to pick her up in a few days."

"In a few days?"

Victoria slowly sat up, watching his departing figure.

Alexander stopped, looking back at her with warm and pitiful eyes, "You can't expect me, as her father, to never see Strawberry again, right? Let's be fair and both spend more time with her."

Victoria understood and didn't refuse anymore.

It was already a blessing that he let Strawberry stay with her for a few more days.

She had always been grateful.

Soon, the hotel's car came to take Alexander to the airport. Victoria and Desiree, holding Strawberry, watched his car leave from the entrance before preparing to go back. Desiree muttered, "Mr. Harrington's birthday is in a few days, I think."

Victoria suddenly remembered that his birthday was indeed coming up.

Should she prepare a gift for him?

He left Strawberry with her, so maybe she should prepare a gift to show her gratitude.

A few hours after Alexander left, Frank and Eve came back with their marriage certificate. Victoria immediately smiled, "We should celebrate today."

Alexander was already regretting it on the plane.

Why did he act like a gentleman?

Given that Victoria had gone to such lengths, shouldn't he indulge himself in a moment of joy without delay?

He kept replaying the moment Victoria kissed him in his mind.

Alexander thought he must be sick; he wanted to devour her at that time, but he just let her slip away.

But they should meet again soon.

Everyone considered him a selfish and domineering man; he wouldn't let himself suffer this loss.

After returning to the city, Alexander immediately went to the office. After the meeting, he received a call from the Harrington Mansion and rushed over.

The house felt a bit lonely without Strawberry.

The elders were drinking coffee in the living room. Seeing Alexander come in, Arabella asked, "You haven't eaten yet, have you? I've already asked the kitchen to prepare something for you. Come sit down first. I heard you generously left Strawberry with Victoria."

Alexander smiled helplessly.

Leaving Strawberry with Jessica was just a matter of course.

"Do you regret letting Victoria go?"

Arabella didn't get an answer and asked another question out of interest.

Alexander glanced at Arabella, "No."

"You're just stubborn. If you weren't, Victoria would still be here with us."

Eloise couldn't help but criticize Alexander.

"Mom, you don't know how stubborn Alexander is, and he's mean too. Ask him what he said to Victoria this time."

Arabella, noticing Alexander's pretentiousness, couldn't help but expose him.

Alexander's eyes flickered, immediately knowing what Arabella was referring to. He felt a bit stifled.

At that time, he just needed an excuse to stay a bit longer.

But when he saw her holding scissors to her neck, he was indeed scared.

"What nonsense are you talking about?"

Brett's eyes darkened, questioning first.

"Why did you have to take after me in this way? You can't make people happy, but Victoria isn't as forgiving as your father. She can't tolerate your bad temper. You should change it as soon as possible."

Arabella didn't say what happened but reminded Alexander to watch his words.

Alexander fiddled with his wedding ring, "I know."

"What exactly did you say?" Eloise was curious too.

"He said Victoria would mistreat Strawberry."

"What?"

Arabella's words left everyone stunned, looking at Alexander.

In this world, even if anyone else might mistreat Strawberry, Victoria would never do that.

"That was heartless of you. Did you apologize to her?"

Eloise asked with concern.

"I'll go apologize now."

Alexander couldn't sit still and got up.

Later, before eating in the dining room, Alexander called Victoria.

He wanted to video call her, but he had blocked and deleted her in anger before, and now she wouldn't accept his friend request.

She didn't answer, so Alexander frowned and immediately dialed another number. This time, it was answered quickly, and he asked, "Where's Victoria?"
