Chapter 758 Kiss Her in the Car

"Alexander, you..."

"Just wait here for a moment. I need to talk to someone. I'll be back soon." Alexander cut her off and glanced over at his parents, particularly his mother, Arabella.

Victoria wasn't thrilled about being interrupted, but she let it slide. As Alexander walked away, she couldn't help but watch him. A few folks from Arabella's side raised their glasses to her, so she did the same in return.

One of the ladies asked Alexander, "Why not invite Victoria over?"

"I'm really sorry, her back's acting up," Alexander said, raising his glass politely. But he kept sneaking glances at Victoria.

Seeing him busy, Victoria put down her glass and grabbed her bag, heading out. As she left the banquet hall, someone quickly approached her. "Mrs. Harrington, do you need anything?"

"Get me a car, please."

"Mrs. Harrington, aren't you waiting for Mr. Harrington?"

"No," Victoria snapped. She hated being called "Mrs. Harrington" because it always assumed she should wait for him, she turned and walked away.

The staff had to make the call but kept glancing inside.

Outside, the full moon was shining bright. A cold wind blew, making her shiver, and she realized she was still wearing his coat.

When the car arrived, she hopped in and said, "Rockland Street, please. Thanks."

"Please wait a moment, Mrs. Harrington."

Victoria was startled by the sound of the car locking. She thought she was imagining things, but the car didn't move. Soon, she saw Alexander striding towards her.

"Start the car now. I don't want to ride with him," Victoria demanded.

Leander, the driver, just smiled awkwardly and stayed silent.

As soon as Alexander reached the car, the door opened. Victoria tried to climb out the other side, but Alexander leaned in, not even looking at her, and pulled her into his arms with a slight smile. "Why're you avoiding me?"

Victoria's breath caught as his eyes sparkled like stars, making it hard for her to look away.

"I don't want to be near you," she said, trying to push him away.

"Drive to Rockland Street," Alexander ordered, still holding her. "Just pretend I'm someone else."

Victoria looked at him, baffled. How could she pretend he was someone else when he was right there? What a ridiculous idea!

"Let go of me, Alexander. We agreed to stay out of each other's lives," she said, pushing against his chest.

"I never agreed to that."

"You did!"

"Got any proof?"

Victoria was stunned. Needing proof for a conversation was so annoying. He was being unreasonable.

"We're divorced. Leander, stop the car. I need to call the police. Alexander is harassing me," she said, flustered.

But Leander kept driving, ignoring her.

Alexander, noticing the car was still moving at a steady pace, saw her panic and chuckled. "Too bad he doesn't listen to you."

"You..." Victoria looked at him, too tired to argue, just pushing him away.

Alexander glanced down at her small hands on his chest and suddenly moved closer.

Victoria tried to back away, but he was right there, closing the gap.

His eyes were intense, and seeing her scared expression, he couldn't help but laugh before kissing her soft lips.

Victoria tilted her chin, trying to avoid his kiss. But Alexander noticed her low-cut dress, the sight of her neck and chest making it hard to breathe.

He gently held her arm, his lips trailing down her neck. Her skin had an addictive fragrance. As he kissed, his hands started to wander.

Victoria grabbed his hand with both of hers. Alexander paused, but then he moved forward again.

"Alexander, stop."

His voice was hoarse with desire. "What?"

"Stop this, please." Victoria felt frustrated and helpless, especially with Leander still sitting in the front seat.

But Alexander held her close, pressing a switch on the side, while kissing from her neck to her lips.

Victoria's breath quickened. She tried to push him away but couldn't. She grabbed his arm, but it was like trying to move a rock.

Alexander's kisses grew more passionate. Occasionally giving her space to breathe, he saw her flushed face and kissed her more deeply each time.

Victoria's face suddenly turned pale. "It hurts."

Alexander's hand stopped at the slit of her dress, then he slowly looked up at her.

Victoria opened her eyes, looking at him pitifully. "My back hurts." She was good at playing tricks too.

Alexander carefully supported her waist, letting her lean against him. "Do you want me to stop?"

Victoria didn't dare speak, just watched as his lips approached again. She gently pressed her hand against his lips. "Yes."

He moved her hand from his lips to his chest. "Delete that doctor's Facebook." His tone was firm, almost a command disguised as a negotiation.

Victoria looked at him. "That's rude."

"Do you want to delete him, or do you want me to keep kissing you? Why are you hesitating?" Alexander gently stroked her face, waiting for her answer. He hoped she would make the right decision.

The photo Edward took today had really bothered him. In the photo, Samuel was laughing, his Adam's apple prominent and his hands resting casually on the table – features Victoria had always found attractive.

"Delete him," Alexander demanded again, his tone leaving no room for argument.

Victoria looked at him for half a minute. She thought it was impolite, but she needed to get away from Alexander first.

Alexander asked, "Do you need me to help you find your phone?"

"No need."

Victoria instinctively felt her pocket, but it was too deep. She suddenly remembered it was his coat, blushing, then quickly reached for her bag and took out her phone.

Still in his arms, she instinctively said while turning on her phone, "Don't stare at my phone."

"Who said I was looking at your phone?"

"Then what are you looking at?"

Alexander's gaze was fixed on her, his eyes soft and intent. Under Victoria's hand was her exposed, delicate skin.
