Chapter 334 Adjusting Her Blouse
Soon, they found themselves on the expansive bed in the bedroom.
"Victoria, you are mine," Alexander declared, his voice unwavering and deep as he held her down.
Victoria, however, remained defiant. "I don't want to," she protested.
Truth be told, she had been nursing a headache since morning, and it had only grown worse."Do you believe I'll silence you?" Alexander threatened, his gaze hardening.
Silence her? How would he do that? Victoria suspected he might attempt to kiss her again, but she decided to address the issue at hand. "Why are you suddenly so possessive? You weren't like this before," she asked, determined to get to the root of the matter. Had he really begun to pay her more attention? But he didn't love her. Was this just about sex? According to him, they had already been intimate the previous night. Didn't men typically distance themselves after such encounters?"What was I like before?" He chuckled at her question before leaning in to plant a teasing kiss on her lips.
Victoria immediately tried to pull away, but he held her chin firm, kissed her again, and whispered, "What was I like before, my lady?""To love someone and be together forever, growing old together," Victoria answered earnestly. Once, he was truly the kind of person she had deeply admired.
Alexander's eyes narrowed slightly as he murmured, "That's how I am now too.""You don't speak a word of truth now," Victoria retorted, denying his claim. Emotion welled up in Alexander's eyes as his hand on her slender waist began to wander. "No," Victoria protested, her body tensing like a startled hedgehog. But suddenly, a pinch on her leg left her too scared to move.
Alexander pinched just above her knee, then kissed her again, more forcefully this time. He was determined to make her understand the consequences of not trusting him.Victoria was in a state of confusion; she had no recollection of the previous night, not even of her time in Country M. She even questioned whether she had ever been intimate with a man. Could it be possible that the man hadn't forced her, that the blood she had seen on the bed that morning was merely menstrual blood? But she was still in a state of panic, her heart pounding as if it would burst out of her chest. As his kisses became more fervent, to the point where she could barely make a sound, she struggled in vain, only to be firmly held down by him.Their fingers intertwined, Alexander loomed over her, his gaze intense. "Victoria, do you really not trust me at all?" he asked. "Yes!" Victoria retorted angrily. Her lips were sore, her skin pinched painfully, but she forgot to show any sign of weakness in that moment."You can be stubborn later," Alexander replied, before abruptly grabbing her blouse. The floor echoed with the soft clatter of round buttons. Victoria realized she was in serious trouble, but her thoughts were interrupted by the ringing of a cell phone. The man who had just been so aggressive suddenly halted, his blue eyes staring directly at the woman beneath him. Tears streamed down her cheeks, a silent accusation. She bit her lip, not uttering a word, just crying incessantly.Alexander couldn't help but furrow his brow, questioning his actions. She was his wife. His wife, to whom he owed so much. He slowly regained his composure and whispered, "I'm sorry." He awkwardly attempted to straighten her blouse, but with the buttons missing, he had to give up and stand. He picked up the phone that had fallen on the bed and answered the call. "What's wrong?" he asked.
"Alexander, Isabella is in trouble," came the reply.
"Watch over her, I'll be right there," he responded.
After ending the call, Alexander left the room without a backward glance.
