Chapter 966 I Swear, I Will Never Bother You Again
Alexander missed Victoria so much that he wished he could run to her immediately.
The next morning, Alexander showed up at the office building on time.
Because he wanted to rush to see Victoria over the weekend, he packed his weekdays with work, trying to get everything done during the workdays.
That day, Alexander was socializing at the club and saw Daisy again. Daisy was sitting next to Elliot, who smiled and said to him, "Daisy is now the treasure of our Cook Family, so I have to take her wherever I go. Don't mind it."
Now the whole town knew that Daisy was pregnant with a Cook Family child, and the rumors about Elliot being gay had been suppressed. People started saying that everyone had misunderstood Elliot.
Alexander ignored it and just sat in his designated seat.
Daisy couldn't help but look at Alexander.
She had heard that Alexander had reconciled with Victoria.
Did Alexander only love Victoria?
Why were there good men in the world, but she had to stick with a scumbag like Elliot?
Daisy felt disgusted whenever she thought of Elliot.
Elliot had a very attractive appearance, and women who didn't know him would be deceived by him.
But what kind of person was Elliot really? He held a sharp murder weapon in his hand.
Daisy was genuinely scared, but when she saw Alexander again, she couldn't help but feel tempted.
She didn't know why she was so unlucky.
She had imitated Victoria, but Alexander ignored her.
Even Alexander's friends said she looked too much like Victoria, but Alexander wouldn't spare her a glance.
Did all her efforts mean nothing to him?
But Elliot even demanded that she learn in bed.
And then Elliot kept humiliating her.
When Daisy looked up again, she saw others talking to Alexander. Alexander sat above, listening intently, looking so charming.
Daisy felt that Jerome had really ruined her.
Alexander's phone rang, and he apologized before stepping out to take the call.
Daisy couldn't bear it any longer and got up to follow him, "Mr. Harrington."
Alexander turned to see it was Daisy and immediately stepped aside. After finishing his call, he looked at her disdainfully, "What do you want?"
Daisy shook her head, looking pitiful as if she had something unspeakable.
Alexander didn't linger and was about to go back.
"Mr. Harrington, please save me."
Daisy suddenly turned and grabbed Alexander.
Alexander felt that the place she touched became dirty. He angrily frowned and looked at his arm where she held him, feeling uncomfortable even through the shirt fabric.
Daisy tightened her grip and stepped forward. "Elliot is not a good person at all."
Elliot sensed something was wrong and immediately got up. At the door, he saw the scene and stood back inside, slightly stretching his neck to look out.
Daisy was holding Alexander's arm, crying so pitifully. It was truly laughable.
"Elliot is determined to ruin me. Please save me. Only you can save me."
"Let go."
Alexander said in a single breath.
Daisy looked up at Alexander, not understanding why he was so cold, but she was ultimately scared and let go.
"Mr. Harrington, I know I was immature before and caused you a lot of trouble, but I promise I won't do it again."
Daisy continued.
"Do you believe what you're saying?"
Alexander asked her coldly.
"I promise, no, I swear, I will never bother you again. I won't dare to love you anymore. Please help me escape from Elliot. I can hide abroad, immediately."
