Chapter 476 Holding Hands Even When Angry
"""Isn't this smell wonderful, is it?"" Alexander said, then deliberately took out a bottle of perfume from his pocket and sprayed it seven or eight times.
Victoria looked at him speechlessly.
She felt that Alexander's brain had malfunctioned again.
Felix's face turned even more uncomfortable, coughing. ""Mr. Harrington, I'm afraid I can't hold on any longer.""
""Felix, open the window,"" Victoria said, supporting herself on the front seat.
""Okay."" Felix took Victoria's order as if it were Alexander's and immediately opened the window.
After all, he hadn't lived enough yet.
""Close it,"" Alexander immediately said again.
Victoria's throat was also very uncomfortable. She covered her mouth, turned to cough, and frowned at him. ""Fine, close it.""
""What? Mrs. Harrington."" Felixwas puzzled.
""Stop the car,"" Victoria said.
Felix quickly stopped the car.
When Victoria got out of the car, Felix immediately ran out as well.
Victoria closed her car door, then walked around to Felix's side and shut that door, too.
Felix took a few deep breaths and finally felt a bit better. Then he turned to look inside the car and asked Victoria, ""Mrs. Harrington, will Mr. Harrington be suffocated in there?""
""No, he loves it,"" Victoria said angrily, looking at the car.
Felix was a bit worried, but Alexander's health was generally good.
Alexander just sat inside, looking out the car window.
She even got angry.
He had been in the car for so long, only to see the internet buzzing with rumors about Adrian and her.
Adrian held her hand.
Adrian actually dared to hold her hand.
And she didn't even resist!
However, the smell was indeed unpleasant, so he didn't insist anymore.
But when the door unlocked, he kicked the car door open and got out with long legs.
Victoria and Felix both stared at him.
Alexander looked at them, too, asking, ""What are you looking at?""
Victoria and Felix immediately turned around, not daring to look at him anymore.
""Aren't you going to open all the car doors?"" Alexander said again.
Felix instantly opened all the car doors to release the stench, knowing it was directed at him.
Suddenly, only the two of them were left by the roadside.
Victoria turned back. He was already full of anger, and seeing her unhappy made his face look even worse.
Victoria was also unhappy. Why did he have Isabella's perfume in his pocket?
Did Isabella give it to him, or was he planning to give it to Isabella?
Victoria felt jealous, her eyes burning red. She looked down at her feet, unwilling to make any other moves.
Felix didn't dare to go over either, so he stood far away.
But the weather wasn't good, and soon, raindrops started to fall.
Victoria instinctively looked up, then glanced at the car with all its doors open.
Alexander had been staring at her the whole time.
Victoria accidentally glanced at him and saw him staring at her.
It lookedlike he was staring at an enemy.
Victoria quickly lowered her eyes again.
She couldn't outstare him today.
But the raindrops were getting bigger and bigger.
""Mr. Harrington, Mrs. Harrington, it's about time,"" Felix said.
'And the car actually has that function. Don't catch a cold.'
Felix thought to himself but didn't say it.
Alexander saw her walking towards the car, so he turned around as well.
Who knew Victoria would get into the passenger seat? ""Felix, help me open the trunk.""
""What are you going to do?"" Felix asked.
Alexander moved the things in the trunk, and it took Felix a lot of effort to move them.
""Hurry up."" Victoria had already taken out ten bottles of water.
Victoria looked thin and weak, but her strength was impressive.
Felix admired her while looking at Alexander.
Alexander was almost amused in anger and just said, ""Aren't you going to help her open it?""
'What if she accidentally hurts herself?' Alexander thought.
He didn't want to become a widower at such a young age.
But as soon as the trunk opened, Victoria was stunned. ""Why is there so much?""
""Mrs. Harrington, let me take it. It's quite heavy."" Felix stepped forward, ready to help.
""No need."" Victoria refused and carried the case of water to the back.
She placed the case of water where she had been sitting before.
Felix glanced at them out of the corner of his eye.
This couple was really interesting.
Felix quietly looked at Alexander, thinking he was about to lose his mind with anger.
But after Victoria got into the passenger seat, she quickly realized the person next to her wasn't Felix.
Alexander was tall and smelled strongly of perfume.
Victoria turned to look at him. ""Why are you sitting here?""
""It's my car,"" Alexander immediately replied, clearly indicating he could sit wherever he wanted.
""I've never had Mr. Harrington drive me before,"" Felix expressed some excitement from the back.
Victoria suddenly fell silent, placing her hands obediently on her lap and looking out the window.
Alexander's phone rang, and he frowned. ""Get my phone for me.""
""What?"" Victoria was puzzled and turned to look at him.
""Answer the phone for me. I can't do it while driving."" Alexander added.
This car wasn't connected to his phone, but...
Victoria silently looked down at his pants pocket. How did his phone end up there?
""Hurry up, what if it's urgent?"" Alexander urged.
""Alright."" Victoria, intimidated by his tone, foolishly reached for his phone.
Victoria's little hand stiffened at the contact of his slightly warm pocket.
When she finally got the phone out, her face was flushed, but when she saw it was Isabella calling, she instantly felt like throwing the phone at his face. She held back her temper and said, ""Mr. Harrington, it's Ms. Montgomery calling.""
Alexander narrowed slightly as he looked ahead, then he instructed, ""Put it on speaker.""
""Isn't that inappropriate?"" Victoria refused.
""Then please, Ms. Kensington, hold it to my ear,"" Alexander said.
Victoria glared at him, then really held it to his ear.
Because she really didn't want to hear Isabella's voice.
Victoria pretended to faint today and threatened to jump off a building tomorrow. It was truly annoying.
""I'm already on my way back to The Harrington Mansion. Fine, okay."" Alexander said indifferently, then reminded her, ""Please hang up for me, Ms. Kensington.""
He didn't care what Isabella heard.
Victoria looked at him and the phone. Since the call hadn't finished, Isabella heard 'Ms. Kensington'. She didn't care. She could detest Isabella if she liked. ""Okay, Mr. Harrington.""
She gently ended the phone and glared at him.
This made the previously tense atmosphere a bit comical.
Felix, in the back, tried to hide his presence but couldn't help wanting to watch the drama.
""Here's your phone back,"" Victoria said, trying to put it back.
""What are you doing?"" Alexandershouted.
He suddenly grabbed her wrist, the unfamiliar warmth spreading up and down her wrist. Victoria tried to pull away, but Alexander turned to look at her, ""I'm driving. Behave yourself.""
""Who's not behaving?"" Victoria asked angrily.
Alexander fell silent again.
Victoria felt he was bullying hertoo much and demanded, ""Let go of me.""
Alexander didn't say anything, just slowly moved his hand up her wrist.
Soon, the phone slipped to the front.
The car fell silent.
He releasedher hand. He just put his phone down and touched her hand again.
Victoria lowered her eyes, feeling a warmth in her heart as he wrapped his fingers around hers and heard his deep voice, ""Stay quiet if you don't want to get into an accident."""
