Chapter 437 Men Are Easily Deceived

"I need to discuss something with you face to face," Alexander said, not mentioning it was Victoria's suggestion.

"What is there to discuss? Didn't we already clarify everything? I told him to scare Victoria, but he went and raped her instead," Isabella said, glancing at the bound man nearby.

Isaac looked like he had been through some rough treatment and likely wouldn't dare speak out of turn.

"Isaac sees his lover suffering outside and confesses that you instructed him to rape me," Victoria said coldly.

Isabella glanced at Victoria, then at Isaac. She suddenly spoke with determination, "You're lying. Those men outside are fully clothed. They didn't do anything."

Isaac listened and immediately glanced at Isabella.

Isabella knew Isaac hadn't said anything.

"You arrived late. They had already dressed. My husband and I saw everything with our own eyes," Victoria said, leaning into Alexander's neck.

Alexander immediately turned to look at her. 'What does Victoria call me? Is it husband?'

Isabella remained firm. "Victoria, you want to deceive me, but I know what I did. If I had ordered him to rape you, I would swear to die a terrible death."

"If that's the case, then you're already facing the consequences," Victoria remarked.

"What?" Isabella was stunned.

"I hear you only have a few months left to live," Victoria added.

"You!" Isabella didn't understand what was going on with Victoria, 'Why does Victoria still act like a spoiled little girl? Who spoils her? Alexander wouldn't spoil her, so she must be acting.'

"If you dare lie, I won't let you get away with it," Isabella warned Isaac, staring at him menacingly.

Isaac also looked at her, filled with suppressed and pent-up hatred.

He had known since childhood that the weak were preyed upon, but today marked the first time in his thirty-something years that he faced such humiliation, not just verbally, but physically and psychologically.

Isabella probably didn't know how skilled Alexander was at tormenting people, but he had experienced it thoroughly in the past few days.

Especially today, when Alexander even brought out his partner.

What was wrong with his partner?

"What's the point of threatening Isaac now? I've recorded everything, Isabella. You better turn yourself in before the police come for you," Victoria said as she got off Alexander's lap and walked towards Isabella.

Isabella's hatred for Victoria was no longer hidden, not even in front of Alexander.

Isabella forced a smile. "Don't scare me. I don't do anything if I don't do it."

"Is that so? Do you want to listen to the recording?" Victoria said, holding her phone up to Isabella.

Isabella glanced at it, then looked back at Victoria in disbelief. "Sure, play it."

Victoria smiled and went to find the recording.

Isabella's heart raced, but she couldn't reveal her anxiety.

"Do you hire a voice actor? I don't think this can be used as evidence against me. Such a recording won't hold up," Isabella suddenly added.

"Is that so? We'll see if it holds up when the police arrive," Victoria replied.

"What? You called the police?" Isabella was stunned.

"Of course, how else would we interrogate you?" Victoria replied.

"You!" Isabella suddenly felt dizzy, and the next moment, she slowly knelt on the ground and passed out.

She collapsed right there.

Victoria's heart skipped a beat. Isabella had frightened her, but she remained standing.

Sebastian came in from outside, saw her lying there, and immediately went up. "Isabella? Isabella?"

Sebastian still loved Isabella after all, and looked at Alexander, saying, "Alexander, let me take Isabella to the hospital."

"Go ahead," Alexander agreed.

Victoria turned to Alexander. "She's pretending."

"She can't escape, but what if she really is in danger?" Alexander questioned her.

"Fine, do as you wish," Victoria nodded, her eyes welling up with tears. She quickly left the room, holding back any further tears.

Watching Sebastian carry Isabella away, Victoria was also angry, but she had no evidence.

If Isabella's previous fainting spells had some credibility, this time it was highly likely she was faking it.

Victoria didn't understand how these men could be so easily deceived.
