Chapter 378 The Door Won't Open
“Mrs. Harrington won't do anything illegal, she just expresses her frustration with some harsh words," Alexander reassured, raising his hand to touch her shoulder and pulling her into an embrace. His narrow, phoenix-like eyes held a mysterious smile as he gazed at the woman in his arms and spoke.
Isabella felt like she was about to spit out blood.
She said she didn't want to leave with regrets.
He used to be the most tolerant man towards her.
But now ...
"Alexander," Isabella said.
“Isabella, if you're not feeling well, please seek treatment at the hospital. Medicine is advanced now, so you won't die easily. As for me and my wife, please refrain from bothering us any further," he said in a somewhat polite but also impolite manner. Victoria was left completely shocked.
What did he just say?
She felt her blood boiling, even feeling a bit uncontrollably like laughing.
“Is he betraying Isabella?" Recalling when he initially came back to the city and requested her assistance in sending flowers to Isabella, he wondered about his current behavior. "Is their relationship truly finished? How could he speak like that to Isabella while she is seriously ill? And with his arm around her shoulder?"
Victoria glanced at Isabella once more.
Indeed, that woman was starting to get angry.
Victoria couldn't help but deliberately lean against Alexander's embrace, then continued to stare at her.
Well, Isabella’s face looked even worse, but she was actually bursting with joy inside.
Alright. She admitted she was still very naive. She was just naive.
"Okay, I won't disturb you." Isabella, feeling wronged, shed tears, then turned and left.
Just a few steps away, she leaned against the wall and slowly knelt down.
Why was this move again?
Why did Isabella always faint at her doorstep?
Victoria just stood at the door, glanced outside inadvertently, then kept her eyes fixed there, reminding Alexander, "She fainted."
Alexander immediately frowned, leaned out while holding her shoulders, and then released her as he stepped back.
“Isabella,Isabella?” Alexander immediately , leaned down, gently patted Isabella's face, then looked up at the disappointed woman standing at the door.
In fact, she wasn't that disappointed. She just thought there was a lot of drama in her heart just now.
Did she really think they were over?
How could they possibly be over when he looked so worried?
Victoria immediately stepped back inside and closed the door.
Alexander looked down at Isabella's pale face. As she slowly started to bleed from her nose, he dared not delay any longer, picking her up and taking her to the hospital.
When Rohans and Naomi arrived, Alexander was pacing outside in his pajamas.
The two immediately froze, standing at the elevator door without moving further inside.
Alexander turned to saw them. "What's wrong?"
"Did you spend the night with Isabella?" Rohans was somewhat excited.
Alexander, in his pajamas and slippers, clearly just got out of bed.
Alexander lowered his head. "I was with my wife, your daughter just go to find trouble early in the morning."
“Alexander, why would you say that? Even if Isabella is acting this way, would she really go out seeking trouble? She just loves you so much, and you promised to marry her," Rohans argued.
"What’s the reason?" Alexander shot a cold glance at the couple.
"It's nothing at all," Rohans replied.
With a cold and stern voice, Alexander finished speaking and walked away with long strides.
Naomi was almost in tears, asking her husband, "He reduced Isabella to nothing!"
"Alright, calm down. It's not appropriate for him to stay here, right?" Rohans said.
After hearing this, Naomi finally calmed down, but still couldn't help but say softly, "Does this mean our daughter's dream of marrying into the Harrington's family is truly impossible?"
"It's very difficult. I hear this guy have brought back a renowned foreign designer to design a wedding dress for Victoria," Rohans replied.
"What should we do then? Are they really going to have a wedding?" Naomi asked.
"Let's figure something out, for now..." Rohans looked towards the operating room.
Alexander immediately returned to Victoria's apartment, only to find that the door wouldn't open.
Well, not only did she change the password, she even deleted his facial recognition.
Alexander looked down at his pajamas and slippers, smiled helplessly, and had to knock on the door. "Victoria?"
