Chapter 351 It Will Never Be His Second Choice

"I will never be his second choice." Ignored his interruption, Victoria finished the sentence.

She told him firmly, wanting him to know that he was no longer eligible to flirt with her. Let alone make love with her.

She wanted him to know that he'd better return her documents immediately so they could break up properly.

"When did I ever say you were my second-best choice?" Alexander asked her seriously, furrowing his brow.

"You don't have to say it, everyone can see it." Victoria replied.

He chuckled dryly, then slowly withdrew his hand from under her body, sat up, sighed wearily, and then looked at her again.

She gently placed her hands on her flat abdomen, her body looking soft. But her eyes seemed like they wanted to kill him.

Moreover, why did she say she wasn't his whole world?

At least at this moment, his heart, eyes, and even the blood in his body were all surging for her.

"Get up, Mrs. Harrington." Alexander stood up first, then reached out to her.

Victoria looked at his palm, her heart trembling, but she propped herself up on the ground and got up on her own. She didn't want to rely on his help.

She didn't belong to the man, she'd rather not look at him more than necessary.

Of course, she knew she couldn't ignore him.

Unless he stayed away from her, further and further away.

But she could see him every day just by looking up.

"I should go back, thank you for the pregnancy test?" She hadn't confirmed the exact name yet.

Alexander looked at her, "It's early morning now, dear."

The word "dear" was particularly clear.

He lifted his watch in front of her to show her, but Victoria glanced at it and immediately walked out. "It doesn't matter how late it is."

She didn't want to stay in the same house with him anyway.

Alexander watched her leave with a helpless smile.

"There should be reporters outside now, are you sure you want to go out?" Alexander said.

Victoria turned back in confusion.

Alexander leaned against the bathroom door frame, standing there leisurely.

Victoria's heart involuntarily fluttered again, but then immediately calmed down. "Why would there be reporters?" She refused to believe him.

"Today's events with the Harrington family, do you really think it's just their private matter?" Alexander asked again.

Victoria was stunned. ‘Is he talking about Adrian's father's funeral?’

"When Dad and I went to pick up Uncle back to the city, the media was waiting for this moment."

Unless something unexpected happened, it would be a hot topic tomorrow.

Victoria walked towards the floor-to-ceiling window, but there was nothing quiet downstairs.

"No one can fly into Regal Retreat, but no one is stopping outside Regal Retreat."

Victoria was still standing in front of the window when someone suddenly appeared behind her, causing her to hold her breath and remain motionless.

Alexander's knee pressed against her slender leg, gently stroking her shoulder and murmuring, "Stay, okay?"

"I'll sleep in the guest room," Victoria said.

"On your birthday night, we really made love."

Alexander held back a laugh, whispering to her, his gaze fixed on her blushing profile.

Victoria lowered her eyes, looking incredulous, then looked at him, "Then why didn't I feel anything?"

"Really? You felt nothing?"

Distrustful, his hands moved from her shoulders down, slowly reaching into her waist, gradually pulling her closer.

Victoria suddenly couldn't breathe, especially when his strong hormonal scent enveloped her.

Alexander's phoenix eyes narrowed, looking very serious as he whispered, "Maybe you were very drunk that night, I didn't want to hurt you so I was gentle."
