Chapter 876 She Behaved Because She Was Terrified by His Power
"I don't need you to apologize to me for these trivial matters, but you..."
Alexander choked up.
The words he said before Victoria spat blood that night flashed through his mind, and he could only turn around, "Go upstairs, I don't want anything of yours left behind."
Alexander strode away, while Victoria could only struggle to get up and follow him silently.
She struggled to keep up with him, but his long strides left her trailing behind.
Alexander later stood upstairs watching her and asked, "Did you lose your memory?"
Victoria looked up at him in confusion, not understanding.
"Forgot there's an elevator in the house?"
Victoria quickly lowered her head after hearing that. How could she dare?
In this house, she barely dared to breathe.
How could she dare to use his elevator?
If she used the elevator, he would say she was being pampered.
Victoria walked up.
"Your back doesn't hurt anymore?"
Victoria looked at Alexander in surprise.
Or perhaps it should be said that her mind went blank at that moment.
He remembered her back pain.
Was he genuinely concerned?
Don't be wishful thinking.
Victoria lowered her head, "Yes."
The pain was something she learned to live with. Once she got used to it, it became a part of her; she just endured it.
"Let's go."
Seeing that Victoria didn't want to talk, Alexander decided not to push her any further.
Forget it.
There were two suitcases at the door of the room, he walked in and saw it was quite clean inside, except there was one less pillow on the bed.
The bed seemed asymmetrical.
Alexander turned to look at Victoria, smiling in confusion.
Victoria guessed it was because of the pillow, "I didn't know if you wanted it, so I packed it up."
"Why don't you just get someone to bring a chainsaw?"
Alexander asked her in a fit of anger, chuckling.
Victoria was even more puzzled.
A chainsaw?
For what?
Victoria couldn't think of anything so violent, she could only look at him in confusion.
"Use a chainsaw to cut off the part of the bed you slept on."
Alexander saw she didn't get it, and said in a low, frustrated voice.
Victoria bit her lip and lowered her head even more humbly, not daring to say anything.
Alexander looked at the bed again and felt even more annoyed.
Didn't she know, although she slept on that side of the bed, which part of it hadn't she rolled over?
Victoria just carefully followed Alexander, and she thought to herself that she hadn't done well and hadn't met his expectations.
She didn't know how to pack up, she had already tried her best.
Logically, why would she pack pillows and cushions?
Victoria was sulking, following behind him.
Alexander went into the bathroom, saw that she had packed up her skincare products, and then looked inside, "Why didn't you pack the female towels?"
Victoria then looked inside and quickly went to pack them.
She always forgot things.
There were a few packs of sanitary pads in the drawer, she took them all, lowered her head, and walked past him.
Alexander stood there, sighing in frustration.
He thought she was annoying.
"Mr. Harrington."
Soon, Alexander heard that childish, uncertain address, and slowly turned around.
Victoria stood at the door, "Is there anything else wrong here?"
Alexander just stared straight at Victoria.
Could he have anything else wrong?
Victoria lowered her head, her hand unconsciously picking at her first knuckle.
She didn't dare get close to him, she felt like her very existence was making him unhappy.
After a minute, Alexander walked to her side, his tall figure standing there, suddenly feeling a bit uncomfortable.
Then he murmured, "I'll go check the walk-in closet."
"Okay."
Victoria instinctively turned and stood to the side, waiting for him to go first.
Alexander looked at her like this and asked, "Didn't I say you're free now? Don't you remember?"
"Is it starting now?"
Victoria cautiously asked him, her gaze filled with uncertainty.
Alexander suddenly thought, 'Is she completely stunned by fear?'
"Of course not." He immediately strode ahead.
Victoria followed him silently, thinking to herself, 'I know I couldn't be free right now.'
So she continued to endure, waiting to be free when she returned to her world.
She didn't mind waiting a bit longer.
"Take all those clothes and the wedding dress with you."
"Those clothes have the tags on." Victoria reminded softly.
Alexander turned to look at her, "They were bought for you."
"I haven't used them."
"Don't you get it? Or are you pretending to be dumb? I don't want to see anything that was bought for you." He said harshly.
"There are already several suitcases, Mom will get suspicious."
Victoria reminded softly with her head down.
"I said, I'll have someone send them to you."
Victoria had no choice but to agree, walking to the side to pack those clothes.
There were too many clothes, and this was just the walk-in closet in their master bedroom.
She carried a big pile of clothes, almost unable to hold them, and was about to put them down first.
Alexander immediately called her, "Put those down, take the wedding dress first."
"Can I not take it?"
Victoria turned, looking at his cold back, and asked.
Alexander turned, his piercing gaze shot at her, "It's yours."
"It's not."
Its price was beyond what she could afford.
Of course, she didn't want it not because of its high price.
After saying that, Victoria saw he didn't speak anymore, so she carried the clothes out.
She had no idea what to pack these clothes in later.
When she returned to the walk-in closet, Alexander was still standing there.
Victoria lowered her head and walked past him. He had no idea; it took all her courage just to walk past him.
Or, he didn't need to know.
He was the master, as long as he controlled everyone.
She would rather take these high-end pieces of clothing, even though she couldn't wear any of them.
Unexpectedly, the clothes in her arms were suddenly snatched away and fell to the ground.
Victoria stepped back in surprise, then looked down at these new clothes falling to the ground, and immediately squatted down to pick them up, but Alexander grabbed her arm first, "Take that one first."
"I don't want to."
She was stubborn like a kid, she just didn't want to, and no one could force her.
She could listen to him on many things, but not this one.
It was like an inoperable tumor.
It would cause her pain, but she wouldn't die.
"I told you to take it."
Alexander said word by word.
"I don't want to!"
Victoria said, struggling to break free.
Alexander firmly grabbed her elbow and opened the glass door.
"Alexander, what are you doing, I said I don't want it."
"Why don't you want it?"
He questioned her amidst her panicked resistance.
Victoria thought of his power, thought of what Frank said about using force on her if necessary, and she suddenly quieted down.
