Chapter 467 If you don't agree to my terms, I'll jump from here.

"Where have you been? Victoria has a fever. Why aren't you at home taking care of her?" Eloise finally dared to speak loudly, seeing Alexander him come back. She slapped him twice hard.

Victoria was stunned at it.

Didn't they agree not to use force unless necessary?

"I bought some fruit," Alexander said.

"Grandma, stop hitting him. You might hurt your hand," the couple spoke at the same time, but their words were different.

Eloise and Adrian both looked at them in surprise, and Victoria curiously glanced at him.

Alexander said, "You're sweating so much. I was afraid you'd get dehydrated, so I bought some fruit."

Victoria's heart inexplicably warmed.

Adrian thoughthimself being even more like a loser.

He thought Alexander wanted to avoid taking care of Victoria.

Seeing Victoria look at Alexander so intently, he felt even more heartbroken and could only lower his head.

"Hasn't Victoria's fever gone down yet?" Eloise asked again.

"I should be..." Victoria said.

"It hasn't." Before she could finish, Alexander had already placed his hand on her forehead and quickly made a judgment.

"Then don't disturb Victoria's rest. You stay and take good care of her, and don't leave suddenly again. Adrian, walk me out. I have a few words to say to you," Eloise said.

"Yes, Grandma Harrington," Adrian replied.

Adrian could only walk out with Eloise, even though he was still worried about Victoria.

However, he knew Victoria would ignore all the other men in front of Alexander.

"Grandma, would you like a cup of coffee before you go?" Victoria asked.

Victoria thought Eloise had only been here for a few minutes and hadn't even sat down. This wasn't proper hospitality.

"You're running a fever, so I won't. I feel assured seeing Alexander here taking care of you. Call me if you need anything. Your wedding is coming up, so you need to take good care of yourself." Eloise gave a few more instructions before leaving.

Her instructions were actually a reminder for Adrian.

Hearing about the wedding, Victoria didn't follow them out. She looked at the person holding her hand.

Soon, the house quieted down again.

Victoria looked at him. "Are we still having the wedding?"

"Why wouldn't we?" Alexander responded. When his phone rang, he glanced at it and then looked back at Victoria.

He still answered it, putting it on speaker, "What's up?"

"Alexander, why are you so heartless?"

It was Isabella's voice.

Victoria listened and couldn't help but lower her head.

"You're so smart. How could you not know the reason?" Alexander ended the phone and then looked at Victoria. "Go back to bed and lie down. I'll go wash the fruit for you."

"What's going on with you?" Victoria asked.

"What?" Alexander asked back.

"You and Isabella, weren't you with her last night?" Victoria asked again.

"When did I ever spend last night with her?" He asked.

"We all saw it. Isabella was in your car, and you picked her up," Victoria replied.

"She was in my car last night? Oh, I remember now. Sebastian said she had some issues and urgently needed my car to find her. Did she come here?"

Hearing her words, Alexander thought for a moment, and asked methodically.

Victoria stared at him blankly.

She wanted to discern the truth from his eyes.

So, was Sebastian using his car to pick up Isabella?

So it was all a misunderstanding?

She had made herself so miserable, and it was just a misunderstanding.

Victoria thought and unconsciously lowered her head, looking away in embarrassment.

But soon, she asked again, "Then why did she answer your phone?"

"I must have already been in a car accident, concussed and unconscious. I don't know who took my phone. I just got it back this morning," Alexander replied.

"Then..." She couldn't inquire anymore. Her attention was on his concussion. Looking at his forehead wound, she felt grief as her eyes heated up. She spoke several times before asking, "Are you still dizzy now?"

"Yes." Alexander looked at her for a long time and replied withjust one word.

Victoria's heart tightened instantly. She glanced at her bed and then pulled him. "Lie down on the bed."

"Why?" Alexander asked.

"An injured person should rest well. No, we should go back to the hospital. Did the doctor discharge you?" Victoria asked.

"Please answer me," she asked anxiously.

She was so scared. She was initially unaffected by her parents' accident. According to the doctor, there were instances where people seemed fine at first but passed away unexpectedly a few days later.

Looking at his forehead wound, even though it wasn't that horrific, she still felt scared.

She thought the safest thing would be for him to return to the hospital and only be discharged when the doctor confirmed he was completely fine.

Alexander merely looked at her, and as she was about to cry from anxiety, he caressed her face and kissed her lips.

Victoria choked up, forced to tilt her head back and feel his dominant kiss.

At that moment, she couldn't do anything else.

She couldn't even push him away, fearing she'd hurt him.

But his kisses kept falling densely on her lips and her skin.

He kissed her neck, then wrapped his arm around her waist and spun her around 360 degrees. Victoria felt a bit dizzy, and when she came to her senses, she was already lying on the bed.

Alexander's hand on her waist lifted her nightgown, and his kisses didn't let up.

Victoria's mind was still hot. His overwhelming kisses and caresses made her feel like she was entering another world.

She didn't know if it was sweet or bitter there. She couldn't do anything.

She was just fearing about losing him too.

Her body grew hotter and hotter. She thought she was getting a fever again.

Alexander quickly released her lips, kissing her neck. His hands unbuttoned her nightgown one by one.

At that moment, he suddenly stopped, looking at her chest, and couldn't help but whisper, "Victoria."

Victoria lowered her eyes. "What?"

She barely made a sound, and Alexander lifted her back, taking off her nightgown.

She only wore a small camisole underneath and nothing else.

His phone rang again just as his fingers were caressing her collarbone, moving downward.

Victoria's mind buzzed, and she instantly came to her senses. She grabbed his hand holding her, and whispered, "Alexander."

"I'm here," he responded, looking at her skin, and kissed her again.

"Don't." Victoria suddenly turned her head, avoiding the kiss.

Alexander suppressed his breathing, his voice brooking no refusal, "I want to."

"No," she responded, then cupped his face. "Answer the phone first."

How could he still be in the mood to answer the phone? Alexander glanced at the phone on the bed. It was Isabella. He irritably answered it, his eyes still fixed on Victoria. "What else do you want?"

"Alexander, don't be so heartless, or I'll have no choice but to end my life," Isabella said.

"What?" Alexander was stunned.

"I'm on the rooftop. If you don't agree to my terms, I'll jump,"   Isabella threatened.

"Then jump as you like," Alexander replied coldly.
