Chapter 89 Being Pressed against the wall; She Felt Nervous.

"I didn't spray perfume on the bed, and that's my bed, you..."
She hadn't even criticized him yet.
What sort of man criticized a woman’s perfume?
Alexander saw her suddenly look so pitiful. He wanted to be angry but couldn't help but laugh.
But as soon as he thought of her going to the singles social event, his face immediately darkened. "You're not allowed to attend such events in the future, remember that?"
"What event?"
Victoria looked at him curiously.
"Last night's event."
Alexander reminded her.
"Oh."
"Write a thousand-word essay, reflecting on what you have done wrong."
"What?"
"And write a pledge; it must be sincere."
Victoria was stunned.
The nanny couldn't help but laugh. She was afraid of getting caught up in their argument and quickly left.
Victoria, however, blushed and asked him, "Why do I have to write an essay and a pledge?"
"So that it will leave a deeper impression on you."
Alexander was now suddenly in a good mood.
"What about my bag?"
In hindsight, a thousand-word reflection was a piece of cake for her. But her bag was very important.
"I threw it away."
"What?!"
"Such a cheap bag doesn't suit you."
"You are absolutely crazy!"
Victoria stood up, not having even taken a bite of breakfast, and walked away without looking back.
Alexander silently watched her leave so decisively, then suddenly mentioned, "Mrs. Harrington, I'll have someone prepare a car for you. Is a Maserati okay? What color do you like?"
Victoria ignored him.
She took her phone and went downstairs.
But downstairs, she ran into Isabella.
Isabella saw her and politely smiled, "Vicky, going to work so early."
"Yeah."
"Let me drive you; I happen to have some errands nearby."
"No need."
"Let me drive you; it's okay, we're both..."
"Miss Montgomery, we are not related. My surname is Kensington."
Victoria couldn't stand it anymore.
Ever since these two came back, they had been constantly bothering her.
How were they family? Did the same blood flow through their veins? Were their surnames the same?
Even their hometowns were different.
How did they suddenly become family?
After saying this, Victoria left, alone.
--
At nine o'clock in the morning, Alexander, dressed in a sharp suit, went to the top floor of the office building. "Come to my office."
"Okay."
Although Victoria was unhappy, she followed him in.
Jasmine had just come back, with two vanilla lattes, when she saw Victoria follow Alexander into the office. She couldn't help but quietly return to her seat.
She suddenly realized something.
Victoria and their boss had an extraordinary relationship.
The news of Alexander’s marriage was still trending.
As he stood at the door, Alexander watched Victoria enter.
She was moving so cautiously; she even stood right against the wall.
He couldn't help but sigh and ask her, "Have you written the reflection and pledge?"
"Not yet."
The day had just started; how would she have time for that?
"When will you write it?"
"After work."
Alexander realized that she still seemed to be a bit angry, although she didn't dare argue with him recklessly.
But he was starting to look forward to it.
One day, he hoped she would argue with him like his mother did with his father.
Alexander lowered his head, then approached her with long strides.
Victoria immediately guarded herself and stepped backwards.
Then he put one hand against the wall, and she, of course, was already against the wall.
Being pressed against the wall was something that made any girl nervous.
She had never been in a relationship.
Alexander silently watched her for a long time.
She blushed, her eyes still lowered, when she heard him kindly suggest, "Let's go to the mall at noon."
"The mall? Why?"
Victoria was curious and reflexively looked up to meet his gaze.
"Edward said we need something."
