Chapter 486 Saying She Wanted to Sleep in His Lounge

"Okay." Naomi didn't know what she was supposed to do, but she was willing to help Isabella.

Later, Isabella took a photo. The combination of white and red in the sink was particularly striking.

She posted it with the caption: [Is death really that scary? Maybe what we fear most is dying with regrets?]

However, this post went unnoticed and uncared for, devoid of any interaction, regardless of gender or familiarity.

But she told herself, 'It doesn't matter as long as he sees it.'

As long as he saw it, she would achieve the result she wanted.

"Isabella, does Alexander not like your type? Does he prefer those pretentious girls looking pitiful?"

Naomi guessed and then voiced her thoughts.

"He wouldn't. He likes genuine women. He's just temporarily confused. Men always fancy something new. Once the novelty wears off, he'll remember what's truly right for him."

Isabella said as she turned on the faucet to wash away the blood.

Isabella believed Alexander was definitely confused.

Victoria might appear cold and distant, but she must be wild at night.

Maybe she was sending Alexander messages in the middle of the night, asking him to come over.

"Victoria seems delicate, but she's still with Alexander after all you've done. Will she take our rich Montgomery son-in-law? What tricks could she have?" Naomi asked.

"What tricks could she have? She is playing the pity card. Her parents' death is her biggest advantage. Alexander is kind-hearted, and Victoria has won over the Harrington family. Now, the whole Harrington family supports her," Isabella replied.

"But isn't she having an affair with Alexander's cousin?" Naomi asked again.

"Men don't care if a woman is a virgin. They only lose interest after they've had her," Isabella said.

"Alexander, wouldn't he care?" Naomi still found it strange. After all, for the reputation the Harrington family, such rumors wouldn't be good.

Isabella went to find Alexander in the morning, but Victoria answered the phone.

Victoria was silent for two seconds before saying directly, "He won't see you."

Isabella waited for the receptionist to respond.

After hanging up, the receptionist said only two words, "Not available."

"Not available? Is that Alexander?" Isabella puzzled.

"It's Mrs. Harrington."

The receptionist girl thought for a moment and added in a particular tone.

Isabella quickly sensed the other side's disdain but responded even more coldly, "She has no right to make decisions for your boss."

"Mrs. Harrington certainly can make decisions for the boss. Besides, our Mrs. Harrington is also Mr. Harrington's secretary," the receptionist said.

"And I'm a childhood playmate of your boss." Isabella was furious.

To her, the receptionist was just a service worker. She was always polite to them, but they dared to speak to her like this.

When Edward found Alexander for coffee and saw Isabella's back, he quickly covered his face and sneaked in.

Unexpectedly, Isabella turned around and saw him. Since they had known each other since childhood, she immediately recognized him and called out, "Edward."

After strolling slumped over, Edward turned around with a phony smile but tried his best. "Hey, Isabella, what a coincidence."

"I'll go with you," Isabella said.

"Sorry, Ms. Montgomery, Mr. Harrington said he won't see you," the receptionist said.

"If that woman comes to blame you, just let her come to me," Isabella said coldly, then took Edward's arm and led him forward.

"I just remembered that Alexander said he was quite busy today. Maybe we should leave," Edward said.

"Don't try that with me. If you make me angry, I will be your nightmare in your next life." Isabella threatened.

Edward thought, 'You really know how to hit people's weak spots.'

She used to target Alexander and Sebastian, but today, she even got him.

But if he went upstairs with her, Alexander would probably kill him with his eyes. His heart started racing.

Victoria was teaching Janaye something when they heard the elevator ding. Both looked up.

Isabella came out holding the latest Chanel bag.

From head to toe, everything seemed new. Victoria only glanced because Edward came out behind her. Victoria stood up. "Mr. Sinclair."

"Hello." Edward walked over, awkwardly scratching the back of his head, and whispered, "I met her downstairs."

Victoria understood he didn't intentionally bring Isabella up and smiled slightly. "The coffee is ready, Mr. Sinclair, please."

"The coffee is ready, and you still lied to me." Isabella glanced at him and then strode towards Alexander's office.

Victoria watched her coldly, then continued working.

"Victoria, how did she get up here? Didn't anyone stop her downstairs?" Shoure asked.

"She grabbed Mr. Sinclair so she could come up. Never mind, let's continue," Victoria replied.

"But Victoria, you're teaching me things you should be doing. Are you planning to leave?" Shoure asked again.

"Of course not. I still want to be a lady of leisure. Only here can I enjoy endless wealth and luxury. Just focus on learning," Victoria replied.

Victoria didn't want her to feel pressured.

Alexander was ready to have coffee with Edward after signing the documents when he spotted two persons entering. He was puzzled, "Why are two of you here?"

"Met her downstairs," Edward explained.

"If it weren't for Edward, it would be hard for me to see you now." Isabella sat down, placed her bag beside her, and leaned in to take a sip.

"Smells so good," Isabella said after taking a sip.

Alexander, feeling annoyed, squinted at Edward.

Edward sat down and exchanged a helpless glance with him.

Alexander knew Edward probably had no choice but...

He worriedly glanced outside.

Their marriage had been strained because of Isabella, and now she was here again. Alexander looked at his phone on the table, then walked over and sat down after a while.

In less than ten minutes, Alexander's deep eyes looked at Edward. "Don't you have something to do later?"

"Yes, after this cup, I have to go." Edward nodded, took a sip, and said.

Isabella saw their expressions and guessed they wanted her to leave, so she said, "I'm tired. I'll go to the lounge and sleep for a while. You guys do whatever you need to do. Don't mind me. I'll leave when I'm rested."

"Isabella," Alexander called.

Edward was shocked by Isabella's words, but Alexander coldly called out to her first.

Isabella turned to say, "Don't mind me. I'll leave when I'm rested. I'm feeling dizzy now."

She said and continued walking inside.

Edward felt things were going wrong. His hand holding the cup stiffened.

At that moment, Alexander suddenly passed by, striding quickly to catch up.

As Isabella opened the door, a strong arm blocked the entrance.

She looked up at Alexander, blocking her, his face filled with cold anger.

But she softly said, "Alexander, I'm really tired."
