Chapter 601 Tonight
Alexander stood in front of her, gently reminding her, "Just give it a try."
Victoria looked up at him, yet she could never see clearly.
Later, coming to her senses, she lowered her head, a bitter smile spreading across her face as she softly said, "No need."
If something didn't belong to her, no matter how much she liked it, she wouldn't touch it.
Since they were not meant to be, she wouldn't let herself move forward, not even a little.
"What if I said I still want to marry you?" Alexander patiently asked again.
Victoria shook her head with a smile, then looked up to meet his gaze. "I still don't want to."
Her eyes were resolute about her decision.
Alexander also smiled and slowly lowered his head. "Got it."
He understood that no matter how hard he tried, her answer would always be no.
He was just irresistibly attracted to her.
She had just taken a shower, and it seemed she had washed her hair too. He suddenly frowned and stepped forward, asking, "Did you wash your hair?"
Victoria replied, "Yes."
"Don't move, Let me check if the stitches got wet." Alexander stood behind her and parted her hair.
Victoria lowered her head, one hand pressed against her chest, the other naturally hanging by her side, but now it clenched a bit unnaturally.
Alexander carefully examined the stitched area and then sighed in relief.
After hegently helped her fix her hair, he still laid hands on her.
He smelled the familiar scent of her body wash, and looking down, he saw the tender skin on her slender shoulders. He couldn't help but raise his hand to gently caress it.
Victoria shivered, instinctively trying to walk away.
Alexander suddenly grabbed her shoulders and asked her seriously, "Victoria, is there anything you want to say to me?"
Victoria's shoulders, held by him, started to feel uncomfortable, and she was a bit flustered, "I... no."
"We might never see each other again, right? Even so, you don't want to say anything to me?" Alexander asked.
"You... take care," Victoria hesitated and said.
She had no idea about what else she could say.
If they could never meet again, she wished him good health.
She hoped his wishes would come true and that he wouldn't get hurt.
After all, he was so...
Victoria got lost in her good wishes for him, unable to come back to her senses until Alexander turned her around by her shoulders.
When their eyes met, she was confused.
Her mind was blank, unable to figure out the meaning in his eyes.
"You take care too." His hand cupped half of her face as he spoke seriously.
He suddenly recalled how she looked when they first met.
She was so gorgeous.
"Okay." Victoria inexplicably felt a sense of being cared for and responded to him.
However, after responding, she lowered her head, only to have Alexander cup her face again.
The taste of the champagne he had just drunk immediately filled her mouth.
He was no longer gentle, impulsive and dominant like the first time, quickly taking control in this kiss.
He had always been the leader, and he was used to and enjoyed it.
Victoria felt a weight on her waist, her body awkwardly pressed against his, and then the familiar warmth enveloped her. But this warmth lasted only a few seconds before she felt a draft all around.
Her towel had come undone.
Alexander's arm, which had been around her waist, suddenly loosened, letting the towel fall to the ground naturally. He just stopped and looked at her for a moment before picking her up from the floor.
"Alexander, don't do this." She was naked, held by him, not wanting to wrap around his solid waist by her slender legs, but his posture...
Alexander carried her out without responding to her.
Victoria had never been so scared, the cold air making her feel insecure to the point of panic.
Just as they walked out, they heard a knock on the door from outside. Alexander immediately turned around with her in his arms.
Naturally, he wouldn't let anyone see his woman.
He asked irritably, "Who is it?"
"Mr. Harrington, everyone wants to sing and is asking if you want to join."
Alexander was too angry to speak for a while, but then he felt Victoria in his arms suddenly cling tightly to him, burying her face in his shoulder. Her breath on his shoulder made his anger dissipate, and he finally responded, "No."
"Then..."
"Get lost!" He suddenly said coldly.
The staff quickly left. After all, when the usually approachable boss suddenly said "get lost," he didn't dare not to.
But Alexander didn't immediately go to the bed; instead, he carried her directly to the door.
Victoria sensed something was wrong, cautiously raising her eyes to look at the direction they were heading, and softly asked, "Alexander, what are you doing? Where are you going?"
Alexander found her soft voice pleasant but couldn't help scaring her on purpose, "Throw you into the sea."
Victoria immediately shrank back, holding onto him tighter.
Alexander carried her to the door, locked it with one hand, and then walked towards the bed.
Victoria didn't dare speak again until they reached the bed, and she relaxed a little.
Yet she still didn't dare let go of him.
Alexander noticed she was clinging to him quite firmly and couldn't help but kindly remind her, "You can let go now."
"No," she said softly, ashamed and stubborn.
She wasn't wearing anything, and if she let go, he would see her whole body.
Usually, being seen in bed under the covers was different from being seen completely naked like this.
"Alright." Alexander's lips suddenly curved into a sweet smile.
When he looked at her again, his eyes were filled with affection.
Victoria felt a chill from his words but didn't dare move.
"Victoria."
"What?" She held onto him tightly, afraid of being seen.
Alexander continued, "You can make love while standing."
Victoria immediately looked up to meet his gaze, trying to confirm what she had heard.
Alexander smiled, "It's said that standing up, you will..."
He suddenly leaned into her ear, his words becoming more and more filthy.
Victoria's ears turned bright red, and her face blushed deeply.
Within seconds, she saw a determined look in his eyes. She slowly let go of him a bit, but as soon as there was some distance between them, she felt cold and immediately clung to him again, softly saying, "Close... close your eyes first."
"I've already seen everything." His voice became hoarse and undeniable.
"Close your eyes first." She protested softly, embarrassed and angry.
Alexander listened but said nothing, his eyes becoming more certain. Then, looking at her lips, he decisively kissed her again.
Victoria instinctively leaned back, feeling a chill in her chest, and immediately moved forward again. But soon she felt something was wrong and quickly held onto him, trying to lift herself up.
