Chapter 794 Someone Got Blocked in the Bathroom
"You've gone too far; there are so many people here."
Edward suddenly chimed in.
At this moment, Alexander's warm, sensual hand was cradling the back of Victoria's head. The two were so close that they could almost feel each other's breath.
The reason was that he almost kissed her. Victoria instinctively leaned back, and Alexander reflexively held the back of her head.
Then, under everyone's gaze, the atmosphere suddenly became very ambiguous.
Daisy, watching from the side, whispered, "Mr. Harrington has always been quite considerate."
"What are you talking about? It's not your place to speak here."
Emily crossed her arms. Despite her small and slender frame, she had a strong presence.
As soon as she spoke, Daisy immediately lowered her head.
Tessa whispered to Emily, "Let's find a chance to humiliate Daisy later."
Emily immediately made a discreet gesture of agreement.
Victoria and Olivia were both more mature due to family changes and age, but Tessa and Emily were still pampered princesses who did whatever they wanted.
The only grievance Emily had ever suffered was an arranged marriage.
But after the marriage, she quickly won Sebastian's heart and took control of her marriage. That's just how she was.
Outside, it was snowing lightly.
Alexander slowly let go of Victoria and said softly, "Stop squirming."
Victoria thought, 'Does he think I can't even move?'
If it came to that, then what he did to her last night...
Victoria felt like she was going crazy. If he kept this up, she might just have to take the plunge with him first.
After all, women had desires, too, right?
Who could stay indifferent when the person they like was constantly teasing them?
Everyone played from after lunch until the afternoon, and later, they were playing cards. As it was getting dark, the house chef was already preparing dinner. Then Tessa saw Daisy go into the bathroom. She immediately exchanged a look with Emily, and the two of them headed towards the bathroom together.
Sebastian saw this and immediately wanted to call them back. Seeing Emily's expression, he felt something significant was about to happen.
Ever since he took those first few steps, Emily sensed it. She turned around and signaled with her eyes for him not to follow.
Sebastian reluctantly stopped. Emily's delicate and soft demeanor still had a surprisingly intimidating effect.
However, all he needed to do was ensure her safety.
The Daisy inside her, the one who dared to venture out, also needed to be taught a lesson.
Daisy dared to come anywhere.
Neil walked up to Sebastian, "Is something happening over there?"
"Daisy isn't right for you. Don't get too emotionally involved with her."
Sebastian just gave him a heads-up.
"I heard she likes Alexander."
Neil whispered nonchalantly.
"Then why did you bring her here?"
"We all live in the same city, so we're bound to run into each other. If there's a problem, solve it. Besides, I'm not good at rejecting girls."
Neil candidly shared with him.
Benjamin and Edward stood beside Alexander, whispering, "Emily and Tessa went to the bathroom."
"Daisy is in there."
Edward could hardly wait to see a catfight.
Alexander, however, was just seriously opening a bottle of wine, "Got it."
Benjamin and Edward exchanged a look, and Edward whispered, "Does he want those women to fight?"
"He probably just thinks it has nothing to do with him and doesn't care."
Benjamin stared at Alexander, thinking this was the most likely scenario.
Alexander immediately glanced back at him, "Exactly."
What did Daisy have to do with him?
He didn't bring her, and he wasn't responsible for her. He was only responsible for...
He couldn't help but look for Victoria.
At this moment, Victoria was standing by the window with Olivia, discussing some VicLiv matters.
"I can handle these things. What about you?"
"Me? You took a break last year, so it's my turn this year."
Olivia reminded her.
Victoria wasn't around last year, and this year, she planned to take a break.
Of course, she sincerely hoped something would keep Victoria around.
Victoria knew Olivia's good intentions but couldn't help glancing inside. Unexpectedly, Alexander seemed to be looking at her from afar.
She couldn't see clearly, but it felt like they made eye contact. She snapped back to reality, looked out the window, and tried to calm her nerves. Then she whispered to Olivia, "My top priority now is getting a divorce."
"What?"
Olivia didn't expect her to bring up such a serious issue suddenly.
"I don't want to be entangled with him anymore."
"Shouldn't you wait until the hickey on your neck fades before saying that?"
Victoria looked at her in confusion.
Olivia glanced at her neck, then looked inside and continued whispering, "And the hickey on Alexander's Adam's apple hasn't faded either."
"I can explain the hickey on his neck."
Victoria whispered to her.
"What? You didn't make them?"
Olivia looked very interested.
Victoria felt a bit embarrassed under her gaze and whispered, "I did, but not in the way you're thinking."
"As long as you did, it doesn't matter why. If you're getting a divorce, you shouldn't be making him like that. There's only one reason for such behavior. Do you know what it is?"
Victoria felt that although she didn't know what it was, it couldn't be a good reason.
"The only reason is that your feelings for each other aren't over."
"Is too intimate, right? You have to suck first..."
Victoria's face felt like it was being roasted in a furnace, but from a distance, no one could see.
Olivia got closer to her, and soon, they were whispering so closely that some men couldn't help but frown.
Why were the two women so close?
"What's going on with them?"
Edward couldn't help but wonder.
"Isn't it obvious? Two women that close..."
Benjamin had a knowing, deep look.
Alexander and Edward immediately looked at him, their eyes narrowing, and they both tensed up.
Edward was already silently praying, 'Please don't let it be what I'm thinking, please don't.'
"They're plotting how to deal with you guys."
After Benjamin said that, they both visibly relaxed.
Benjamin looked at them in confusion and asked, "What were you two so nervous about just now?"
"Nothing."
Edward immediately avoided his gaze. After all, Benjamin was known for his sharp eyes. Edward touched his neck and mumbled a response.
Benjamin had already guessed a bit and looked at Alexander again.
Alexander, pretending to be calm, walked inside with a bottle of wine and told the kitchen staff, "Open five more bottles of wine."
Instantly, Edward and Benjamin were pulled back to reality, turning in disbelief to look at him.
Five bottles?
What was he planning?
