Chapter 95 The Secretary and the Boss Kissing in the Elevator

Throughout the morning, Mr. Harrington was summoning and ordering Victoria around nonstop, but she showed no emotion and harbored no complaints.
In truth, her legs were trembling severely the entire morning. She truly hadn't expected him to be so violent.
--
In the afternoon, as Alexander was leaving work, he suddenly received a call from Isabella. He happened to be walking past Victoria's desk at that moment.
"How could you lay a hand on my father? He is an elder," Isabella demanded an explanation.
"An elder? Elders should also show respect," Alexander reminded her.
"Elders... Alexander, he is still my father. Even if he was a bit hasty about our marriage, you should still understand him."
"If he didn't have such a foul mouth, I would respect him." Alexander hung up the phone and then looked down at Victoria. "Let's go."
"What? I... I still have work to finish," Victoria, though nervous, hesitated.
Alexander said nothing and just glanced at Jasmine, who had been eavesdropping on their conversation, and then leaned in.
Jasmine was almost scared to death when she heard a loud noise on the table.
Alexander grabbed Victoria's hand from the keyboard without saying a word.
"Don't do this; you..."
"Come with me, or I'll carry you out. Your choice."
Victoria was speechless.
With her head down, Victoria softly said, "Let go, I need to pack up."
Only then did Alexander release her hand.
Victoria reluctantly began to pack her things. Jasmine, daringly, quietly reminded Victoria, "Aren't we going out for a date tonight?"
Victoria froze.
"What?" Alexander furrowed his brow.
Jasmine, feeling embarrassed, struggled to produce words from her mouth and spoke even more quietly, "We're planning to go out for drinks tonight."
"I just heard you say a date."
He didn't even say "seemed to hear."
Victoria felt suffocated by his controlling nature. He quickly packed up her things and headed out, saying, "I'm leaving."
She tugged at Alexander's sleeve and then walked ahead briskly.
Alexander followed, but in the elevator, he asked her with a stern face, "Going on a date? Looks like the Singles social event went well."
He then thought of what Mark had said about many CEOs finding her appealing and cursed inwardly.
Damn it!
What kind of filthy thoughts were going through those perverts’ minds?
They dared to covet Alexander’s woman?!
Victoria remained silent as the elevator descended.
She could see the people below and silently moved to the side.
Alexander immediately turned his gaze, "Come stand closer to me."
"No, we’re still at work," Victoria whispered a reminder.
Alexander chuckled and immediately turned around.
Victoria, startled, stepped back.
With a loud bang, her back hit the elevator wall, and she grasped the railing in panic.
He was already closing in; he was so close that his dominant pheromones quickly enveloped her.
Victoria was so flustered that she couldn't see him clearly.
This time, it wasn't the corner of the elevator wall.
Down below, everyone could really see them.
She was wearing her work suit and was easily recognizable.
Alexander suddenly gave her a wicked smile. "What's wrong with us being at work? A secretary and the boss; it’s quite intriguing, right?"
He held her chin up.
She looked into his hunter-like eyes as her breath grew weaker.
Alexander was about to lean in for a kiss.
"Don't," Victoria turned her head.
But inadvertently, she saw people downstairs looking up, so she turned back. She wanted to hide, but there was nowhere to escape. As she turned her head, their lips met.
Alexander was already prepared, and the moment she touched his soft lips, the triumphant gleam in his eyes couldn't be hidden.
