Chapter 380 Teaching Marriage Secrets

"You don't have a wife," Victoria said.

Alexander's breath caught, longing to embrace her and show her how much her words pained him. But he couldn't bring himself to do it.

As Victoria considered how worried he must have been with Isabella at the hospital and now returning to her for clothes, she suddenly, in a fit of anger, threw his clothes on the bed.

"I've found your clothes. I'm leaving!

She left without any hesitation.

Alexander really wanted to keep her, but he just stood there.

He hoped that one day she would realize he never loved Isabella, then Victoria would gently help him find clothes and carefully tie his tie.

They looked like an elderly couple who had been together for decades, just like the senior executive he had recently encountered downstairs mentioned.

He actually admired a couple who could still have arguments after many years, and then the man getting kicked out of the house.

That was love. Alexander sat on the edge of the bed and noticed the suit she had thrown on the bed, thinking, 'Despite having a temper, she isn't the type to throw things around carelessly. She doesn't create chaos. That's why I felt a stronger desire to hold on to her. Even when she's upset, she is delicate and gentle.’

Alexander felt he had been really unlucky these past two years.

‘How did things get so messy? The media always spreads rumors. I need to set them straight. From now on, only my name, Alexander, should be mentioned. Next to it, there should only be Victoria, or Mrs. Harrington. She is the respected mistress of the Harrington family." As Alexander thought about this, he suddenly burst into laughter.
Shoure opened the door and saw him sitting on the bed laughing foolishly, couldn't help but frown.

"Are you okay?"

Could it be that his wife had driven him crazy?

Alexander glanced at him and said lightly, "I'm fine."

Shoure felt he shouldn't have asked that question. He just needed to find a way to make the boss happy, so he wouldn't have to go to Europe.

Expanding business in Europe was too much of a hassle. It wasn't that he was scared of facing challenges. He was simply focused on pursuing a girl at the moment. If he wasn't careful, someone else might try to win her over.

Attractive women often receive unwanted attention from admirers.

Thirty minutes later, in the meeting room, Victoria approached the door with her notebook and paused. "I heard you got kicked out of the house by Victoria."

"Oh my goodness, I never expected Victoria to have such a temper.”

"You two have only been together for a short time. You've already been kicked out. You need to reflect on yourself."

The older executives would speak to him as if he were a junior.

Of course, everyone would also observe his reaction to see if he liked hearing it.

They would continue to talk, mentioning how the next person suggested, "You both should get ready for the wedding, make a formal announcement, and then start a family. Let me tell you, at your age, having a child would be of the highest quality.”

"Really?" Alexander looked particularly interested, even touched his chin thoughtfully.

Victoria tightened her grip on the notebook. She really wanted to say, "This meeting room, she really doesn't want to enter."

“Hey, why hasn't Victoria come in yet?" Someone else asked, and everyone turned to look at the door.

Victoria suddenly felt embarrassed.

She wasn't listening in on their conversation.

What were all these men talking about? She felt like a young girl in their presence, vulnerable and on the verge of being teased.

Of course, Alexander had already noticed her standing there and even added, "Hurry up and come in, listen to the married folks pass on some marriage secrets."
