Chapter 951 Damn First Love
"I think it's better for women not to casually enter a single man's bedroom, don't you think?" Curtis reminded.
Diana stood at the doorway, not stepping further inside.
Curtis stopped, looked down at her, and asked, "You come into my room more often, don't you?"
"Ever since we broke up, I haven't been in your room."
Diana felt there was nothing wrong with what she said. How long had it been since she lay on his bed and made love with him?
"Did your pajamas walk in by themselves? Stop talking nonsense and go get them." Curtis commanded in his deep voice.
Diana felt she really couldn't refuse Curtis. Of course, if she were his girlfriend, she would be willing and even happy, but given their current relationship, she thought, if she took away the pajamas, what if other women came to this room and took Curtis away?
"Curtis?" Diana thought, then suddenly turned around and looked up at him.
Curtis took a step back and asked calmly, "What do you want to do?"
"I'm not taking them away. This place can only be mine."
After saying that, she quickly left.
Curtis stood there, feeling she was like a gust of wind he couldn't catch. Hearing the door close behind him, he could only sigh helplessly.
Diana returned to the Harrington Mansion for Strawberry's birthday and stayed for two days.
The Harrington Mansion was bustling that night. Everyone brought appropriate gifts, and even after Strawberry went to bed, people were still drinking and chatting.
Eloise and Brett asked Melissa to stay over before going to rest. Alexander watched as the elders went to their rooms one by one, then lightly tapped Victoria's heel with his toe.
Victoria was chatting quietly with Diana and turned to look at him after being tapped.
What did he do? He always liked to kick me.' She thought to herself.
Victoria knew he wanted to leave, but pretended not to understand and continued chatting with Diana.
Diana mumbled, "Curtis meets and dines with his department head's niece every day."
"Why don't you ask Curtis what he means by that?" Victoria was puzzled.
"I won't ask. Do I need him to tell me again that they are a perfect match in terms of family background? Just because he's a teacher, he has to find another teacher?"
Diana didn't like hearing this.
Victoria, however, thought of her parents. They were truly in love.
But of course, it wasn't just that. If it was real love, what did it matter what their status was? The fear was that the love wasn't deep enough.
Adrian saw all of Alexander's little actions and felt jealous, but couldn't help looking at Victoria.
"Victoria, what are you looking at?"
Victoria snapped out of her thoughts and looked diagonally across.
"I still have that role saved for you," Adrian said.
"Sorry, I'm leaving tomorrow," Victoria replied.
"Where are you going?" He asked.
"Back to Elysium Country." She answered him.
Adrian felt inexplicably empty inside. Wasn't this the result he wanted, for her to be separated from Alexander?
But her being alone in Elysium Country left him worried.
"Do you really have to go?" Adrian asked.
"I bought the ticket a long time ago," Victoria said.
"Do you think I can't afford to lose a plane ticket?"
Alexander looked at Victoria and asked.
Victoria only glanced at Alexander before looking away again.
Diana felt the atmosphere suddenly become a bit strange and suggested, "Why don't you stay? We don't lack the money for a plane ticket."
"No, I already made plans to have dinner with my neighbors." Victoria insisted.
Diana looked at Alexander helplessly.
Alexander stared at Victoria for a while, then grabbed her hand and placed it on his leg. Victoria felt the sudden warmth but didn't say anything.
She was determined to leave; she didn't want to stay and couldn't stay.
"Why don't you stay this time? I've always kept that role for you." Adrian chimed in.
"Don't dream. Do you think if she stays, I'll let her play your damn first love?" Alexander retort. "That's absolutely impossible."
