Chapter 737 I Was Just Too Angry

"What's so dirty?"

Victoria's usually smooth forehead wrinkled as she tried to keep her cool and asked him.

Alexander's face twisted in genuine disgust, like he'd seen something nasty.

But he was just washing her hands.

She glanced at her red hands, then looked at him seriously. She had no clue what she'd done to gross him out so much.

"He touched your hand. It's filthy."

Alexander didn't care about her anger, just kept scrubbing her hands clean.

Her hands had been scrubbed a million times, between alcohol disinfectant and antibacterial soap. When he lathered her hands with foam again...

Victoria glared at him, yanking her hands away and snapping, "Alexander, stop being ridiculous."

"Finish washing, then you can yell at me."

Alexander reached for her hands again, but Victoria hid them behind her back.

Alexander immediately ordered, "Don't move."

Victoria felt the foam on her hands glistening. The excitement she once felt when he held her hand now seemed laughable. He wanted her hands, right?

"Take them, all of them."

Victoria raised her hands and smeared foam all over his pristine suit.

Alexander looked down at the foam on his chest, then slowly raised his already bloodshot eyes to look at her. Seeing her angry eyes, he quickly stepped forward.

Victoria, seeing him approach, raised her hands in fear and backed away. "Alexander, what are you..."

"Give me what? What do you mean by giving me all?"

Alexander, barely holding back his rage, grabbed her wrists and demanded an answer.

Yeah, he wanted to know what she was giving him. Was it her body, or her future?

"Alexander, you..."

Victoria wanted to calm him down, but he let go of one of her wrists, and then she felt a sharp pain at the back of her neck.

He grabbed the back of her neck and, in an instant, sealed her lips with his.

He suddenly kissed her.

Victoria's heart was racing, but even her faint breath was taken away.

His kiss was fierce and dominant, making her almost suffocate. When tears pricked her eyes, she instinctively pushed against his chest.

But soon, the heat from his body made her panic, and she let out a muffled groan.

Alexander's kiss became more aggressive, wild, and unrestrained. Victoria's mind suddenly recalled his earlier actions, as if they had happened in another time and place.

This wasn't the first time.

But now, they were already divorced.

She had received the divorce papers he had signed.

And he had personally told her they had a Divorce Decree.

Given their relationship, how could he suddenly kiss her, and so...

Victoria couldn't help but push him away again, but he quickly grabbed her hands and pinned them behind her back. Then, he showered her with kisses from her lips to her jawline, down to her neck.

Victoria felt like she was being devoured, her breath on her neck almost cut off.

His brute force, as if driven by an inner demon, pushed her body against the sink. Soon, her lower back felt like it was about to break, and she groaned in pain.

His kiss stopped immediately, his lips breathing against her neck as he slowly raised his eyes.

Seeing her pale face, he quickly released her wrists, only holding her waist gently, and asked worriedly, "Is your back hurting again?"

Victoria didn't speak, just raised her hand in pain.

She truly hated him and wanted to hit him, but she couldn't do it anymore.

If she hit him, it would seem like there was still something between them.

She slowly lowered her hand, suppressing her anger, and said in a pale but determined voice, "Alexander, we've been divorced for a long time."

'Divorced? For a long time?' Alexander looked at her clear, rational eyes and just gave a faint smile. Then he lowered his head and said softly, "Wash your hands clean and let's go eat."

He took off his jacket, neatly placed it aside, then rolled up his shirt sleeves and washed his hands.

Victoria stood there silently watching him.

She wasn't trying to understand him; she was just afraid he had set a trap for her to fall into.

He was too terrifying.

In front of him, she was like a frightened bird.

Later.

The dining table had only vegetarian dishes, bland and tasteless.

Neither of them spoke another word, silently finishing their lunch.

After lunch, Alexander drove Victoria to the office building, then the car headed in another direction.

Edward was playing with a badminton racket as he walked into the court, where Alexander was already sitting, holding his phone and looking at something.

Edward walked over, leaned in to take a look, and then asked, "Why are you working here?"

Alexander reminded, "You're late."

Edward shrugged helplessly and said, "Olivia has a bit of a cold, so I stayed home to take care of her."

Alexander's dark eyes looked at him.

Edward immediately smiled and said, "Don't think I'm showing off every time something happens, okay? Olivia and I have been childhood friends for so many years, what's there to show off? It's just that you have nothing to show off, so you get jealous when you hear others are with their partners. You need to understand that."

"Should I thank you for teaching me this?"

"No need, just go easy on me later."

Alexander stood up, grabbed his racket, and walked to the other side.

Edward suddenly had a bad feeling, thinking Alexander might want to exhaust him again.

That afternoon, with the wind howling outside, the two men in sportswear, both in excellent physical condition, were panting heavily from exhaustion.

Eventually, Edward lay on the floor, gasping for breath, saying, "I can't do it anymore, I really can't."

Alexander walked over, looking down at his exhausted state as he said, "Do you want me to call Olivia to pick you up?"

"She's got a cold.."

"Okay, then keep lying there."

Alexander smiled faintly, then elegantly walked out with his long legs.

Edward turned his head and said, "Hey, Alexander, you're just going to leave me here?"

Alexander waved his racket and said goodbye.

"Alexander, Olivia told me to advise you to be sensible, to be sincere and gentle with girls."

Edward turned over and continued talking while lying on the floor.

When Alexander left the gym, he had already showered and changed back into his suit. It was indeed quite cold outside, much colder than it had been at noon.

In his sharp eyes, a fleeting memory flashed by, recalling when he kissed her in the restroom at noon.

At six in the evening, Victoria came out of the Harrington Group office building with her bag.

"Mrs. Victoria Harrington, Mrs. Eloise Harrington asked me to pick you up from work."

It was Felix, already standing at the bottom of the steps.

Victoria clutched her bag strap and walked down the steps. The car door behind her opened, and she stopped in her tracks when she saw Alexander inside.

"Felix, I'll sit in the front."

Felix persuaded, "Mrs. Victoria Harrington, if you sit in the front, I'll have to take a cab back. Please get in the car."

Victoria got in the car and placed her bag between them. Alexander glanced at it, then looked at her with sharp eyes.

Victoria kept looking out the window, not wanting to talk to him, until she heard a familiar voice.

Alexander said, "I was too angry at that time."
