Chapter 76 Mr. Harrington Threatened to Deal with Her

It was unclear how much time had passed when he suddenly uttered these words in a low voice.
Victoria did not sense his sincerity; she just wanted to leave him now. So, she got out of bed, quickly changed into clothes, and headed out.
Arabella and Old Lady Harrington had were sitting in the living room and drinking coffee. When Arabella went to the kitchen and came back, she saw Victoria running out and immediately grabbed her, "Why are you up so early? What's wrong?"
Arabella was shocked to see tears streaming down Victoria's face.
Victoria just vigorously shook her head, wanting to run away again, but Arabella held her shoulders, "Did Alexander bully you? Why are you running? Your grandparents and I are here for you. If someone has to leave, it should be him."
"Vicky, what's going on? Come and tell me quickly," Old Lady Harrington was also frightened by Victoria's red eyes. The whole family knew that Alexander had suddenly left last night, and now, after seeing Victoria with red eyes, they could guess where he had gone.
"No, Mom, Grandma, my eyes just feel a bit uncomfortable. They may be a little inflamed," she said with her head down, racking her brains for an excuse while Arabella pressed her into the sofa.
"Alexander, get down he..."
Before she finished her sentence, a familiar voice was heard from the staircase.
However, today the voice sounded even stronger and more confident.
Soon, Alexander came downstairs in his pajamas, but upon seeing the expression on Mr. Harrington Sr.'s face, indicating he was about to hit him, he instinctively slowed his steps.
"Hurry up," Mr. Harrington Sr. was impatient, poking the ground forcefully with his golf club.
"Mr. Harrington Sr., your grandson is married now," Alexander hoped Mr. Harrington Sr. would put away the club.
"You know you're married now?" Mr. Harrington Sr. said, gripping the club in the middle and swinging it towards him.
"Dad," Arabella stood up first, startled.
"You dare run again, you little brat?" Alexander, who had long legs, took a few big steps and ran far away.
Victoria was also scared and almost stood up, but Old Lady Harrington held her hand, "It's okay, let your grandpa vent."
Vent? Sure. But if he crippled Alexander...
Mr. Harrington Sr. pointed the club at Alexander, "Want to run again?"
Alexander nervously chuckled, then looked at Victoria, "You reported me?"
"I... I... Grandpa, I'm fine, please don't hit him," Victoria pleaded. If he got hurt, it would be disastrous.
Alexander sneered at her, "Acting innocent now, huh? Wait and see how I deal with you later."
Deal with her? Victoria's heart leaped into her throat.
When Mr. Harrington Sr. chased after him, Alexander quickly ran outside, giving her an order before he was out the door, "Get my clothes when you go to the office, the whole set."
"Okay." As soon as he ordered her, it seemed like her secretary duties kicked in. Victoria was a bit angry at herself for this reaction, but she couldn't help but watch his figure as he ran off.
Unexpectedly, Mr. Harrington Sr. continued to chase him out the door, still with a golf club in hand. "You little brat, if you've got guts, come back!" He shouted.
When Mr. Harrington Sr. returned, he let out a sigh of frustration. "From now on, if he comes back in the middle of the night, you immediately come and inform me. I'll break his legs."
"What? Grandpa, isn't that going too far?" Victoria interjected.
"How is it going too far? Breaking his legs will make him behave," Mr. Harrington Sr. retorted.
"But Grandpa, we live in a society governed by the rule of law," Victoria reasoned.
"The rule of law won't stop me from disciplining my grandson," Mr. Harrington Sr. insisted.
Victoria suddenly realized she needed to zip it and let Mr. Harrington Sr. calm down.
However, Old Lady Harrington couldn't help but sigh helplessly, "Vicky, are you still protecting him? Is he really worth it?"
"Huh?" Victoria was taken aback.
Protecting him? Alexander? Did she really do that?
"Victoria, as long as you still want to be a part of this family, we will do all we can to make him fall in line," Old Lady Harrington said with concern.
Arabella also sensed Victoria's thoughts and spoke kindly to her.
Victoria, feeling embarrassed, still smiled awkwardly, "Well, what if I don't..."
