Chapter 386 Designing Wedding Invitations Personally
"Is the identification just at Regal Retreat or his office, right?
In the evening, The Harrington Mansion.
Victoria had just entered the house when the butler greeted her at the door. ""Mrs. Harrington, welcome back.""
""Well, good evening,"" Victoria politely greeted.
When she entered, she overheard the elders in the living room debating which color looked best. Curious, she greeted them as she approached. ""Mom, I'm home.”
""Victoria is back. Come here. We are choosing the color of your wedding invitations. Please see which color you like,"" Arabella said upon seeing her.
""Red is good, but your mom says young people nowadays like white. That color is too dull, lacking novelty,"" Eloise spoke bluntly.
Victoria, with a heavy heart, walked over to see the invitations on the table and almost couldn't help but laugh.
They were really choosing invitations.
The invitations were not very large, rectangular in shape, easy to fit in a pocket.
As she sat down and looked at the invitation given to her by Arabella, she wanted to confess that she didn't really want to marry Alexander.
""This was personally designed by your husband. Look at the words on it. He even wrote them himself, and asked us to choose the color,"" Arabella explained.
""Does he personally design it?"" Victoria was stunned.
""Yes, touched, right?"" Arabella looked at her, couldn't help but ask, and curiously reached out.
""Is it very cold outside? Why are you wearing a scarf?""
""A little chilly,"" Victoria subconsciously covered her neck, saying softly.
""You sit in the office for a long time. I heard it's easy to get cervical spondylosis. Don't let the air conditioning temperature set too low,"" Arabella reminded.
Victoria responded.
In her heart, she couldn't help but sigh. It was a close call; someone had left a bite mark on her that was almost discovered. If it had been seen, she wouldn't have been able to explain it.
Eloise, however, gazed at her with a soft smile as if she understood everything, and then asked her, ""So, my dear, which color do you truly prefer?
There were still a few colors on the table. Victoria subconsciously picked up a pale pink one. ""How about this color?""
It happened to be a color that neither of them had considered before because they thought it was not stable.
""This is good, looking fresh yet warm,"" Eloise said.
""Yes, very elegant, exuding the joy of a newlywed,"" Arabella added.
Victoria was a bit confused listening to this, the joy of a newlywed?
She carefully looked at the invitation, oh my, was she choosing the invitation color for herself?
""Wait a minute, actually I..."" Victoria didn't finish her sentence
""Mr. Harrington is back,"" the butler's voice came from outside.
Alexander responded, walking closer with a low voice, ""Is Mrs. Harrington back?""
""She came back not long ago."" the butler replied to him, leaving with his coat.
Alexander walked in with long strides, immediately feeling physically and mentally pleased upon seeing Victoria.
""Aren't you supposed to have an engagement?"" Victoria turned her head first, realizing she was impulsive again.
Why couldn't she help but look when she heard him?
Fortunately, her mind was still agile enough to ask a question.
""They had something come up suddenly and had to cancel,"" Alexander said, naturally sitting down beside her.
Arabella and Eloise sat quietly, observing the scene. There was no obvious affection or tension between the young men and women. It was a time of uncertainty and strong attraction. ‘Not bad,’ they thought.
""This is how things should be now."" After Alexander sat down and crossed his legs, facing the woman next to him, his gaze landed on her face and then moved to her neck. Noticing the unfamiliar scarf, he frowned unhappily and asked, ""Who gave this to you?”
""What are you talking about?"" Victoria looked at him in confusion.
Alexander, like a thunderbolt, swiftly pulled the scarf at the clasp. ""Don't.""
Victoria tried to grab it, but it was too late.
Alexander pinched the scarf, frowning. ""Having a really poor texture, the scarf will damage your skin."""
