Chapter 853 Let's See How This Desk Performs

Alexander's eyes were filled with pride.

"There are plenty of women out there."

Diana felt even more upset hearing this.

"I'm stubborn by nature. I only want her. Whoever scares her away, I'll get her back from them."

He spoke with a calm and determined tone.

"What if you can't get her back?"

Diana thought Alexander was truly crazy.

"Then let's go down together."

Alexander looked at Diana seriously and calmly said.

Diana looked up at him, feeling an inexplicable pain in her chest.

'This is her brother, and he is saying such things to me.'

Meanwhile, Victoria, who was pouring milk inside, stood there silently.

Victoria heard everything.

Alexander noticed Victoria still standing there, sighed, and walked over with his long strides. Standing beside her, he picked up the two glasses of milk she had poured and said, "Time to eat."

"Okay."

Victoria followed him.

Alexander brought the two glasses of milk to where she and Diana were sitting. Victoria, still in a daze, handed the milk to Diana. Diana grumbled unhappily, "Thanks, but I already have one."

"I don't have any."

Alexander leaned in, placing his hands lightly on the clean table, and looked at Victoria softly.

Victoria looked up at him and then handed the milk to him.

"Thank you, dear."

Alexander said with a smile.

Victoria reflexively glanced at him, feeling that his expression made everyone want to punch him.

But no matter how much he flattered her or expressed his feelings, it was useless.

Victoria felt that she was heartless.

Otherwise, why would she be indifferent to his words?

After breakfast, Diana stood at the door holding Strawberry, watching them go to work together, feeling even more annoyed. "What's so good about Victoria anyway?"

"Ms. Diana Harrington, haven't you heard that saying?"

"What saying?"

Diana turned to look at Eve.

"It doesn't matter what we think; if he thinks she's good, then she's good."

Eve said this and then fell silent.

Diana looked at Eve, thought for a moment, and asked, "Have you always been with Victoria?"

"Not recently, "Eve replied.

"Then you must know her well, right? What did she give you to make you praise her?"

"It's Mr. Harrington who pays us."

"Oh right, I heard there's also someone named Frank. Victoria does have some skills, but she'll be kicked out of the Harrington family eventually."

Diana said, holding Strawberry as she walked away.

Eve listened, feeling displeased, but still followed.

Diana said, "You don't need to follow me."

"Sorry, Ms. Diana Harrington, I have to ensure Ms. Strawberry Harrington's safety."

Diana found Eve troublesome but let her follow.

Eve was surprised that Diana took Strawberry to meet Daisy so early in the morning.

Daisy saw Eve following Diana, even though Eve only stood at the door of the private room.

Daisy sat down and whispered to Diana, "She might be Victoria's spy."

"It doesn't matter. Besides, we're not doing anything bad."

Diana said indifferently.

After all, Diana was holding Strawberry. She truly hated Victoria, but ensuring Strawberry's safety was also important.

She didn't want Strawberry to be in any danger.

Eve was worried that Diana and Daisy were both disliked Victoria. Would they conspire to harm Victoria?

Eve didn't hesitate much and called Alexander.

Alexander had just pulled Victoria into the elevator when he saw it was Eve calling. He said softly, "It's Eve."

Victoria, who was about to break free from his grip, calmed down upon hearing Eve's name.

Alexander held her wrist and answered the call, saying only, "Got it. Take good care of Strawberry."

"Okay."

Eve hung up the phone.

"What did Eve say?"

Victoria asked worriedly.

Because Diana was taking care of Strawberry today, Victoria was genuinely concerned.

"She said Didi and Daisy are meeting, and they have Strawberry with them."

He emphasized Strawberry deliberately.

Victoria felt a warmth in her heart but quickly cleared her mind and said, "I think we should get a divorce as soon as possible."

"What?"

How did this lead to divorce?

"I'm afraid of any accidents."

Victoria murmured.

Alexander looked at her, then immediately pulled her into his arms, holding her tightly. He looked down at her and said in a deep voice, "I promise there won't be any more accidents."

Victoria slowly looked up, "Am I too stupid, looking easy to deceive?"

Alexander frowned.

"Otherwise, why would you keep giving me unrealistic fantasies?"

Victoria remembered clearly.

When Isabella first hurt him, he said similar things.

But what happened later?

She almost died and ended up with a body full of scars.

She even watched him take a knife for Isabella.

If she hadn't held back at that time, he might have already died.

He was willing to sacrifice his life for Isabella.

Victoria looked at him sadly and said softly, "If we get divorced, when Isabella gets out, you two can date again."

"What?"

Alexander frowned upon hearing this.

He even thought he must have misheard.

"What about Daisy? We both know that in your heart, there's only Isabella."

"I suddenly remembered that you deceived me last night."

The serious atmosphere in the room suddenly became charged with ambiguity.

Victoria looked at him, more stunned.

How could he think of last night when she was being so serious?

The elevator door suddenly opened, and Alexander grabbed her by the waist and lifted her. In an instant, Victoria was slung over his shoulder.

"Alexander, what are you doing? I have to go to work."

"Your job is to serve me."

Alexander said this with a particularly righteous tone.

Victoria flailed her arms and legs, her face turning red, but she still clung tightly to his shoulder.

Shoure, holding a file, stood at Victoria's workstation. Seeing this scene, he immediately frowned. Should he remind them that there was a living person here?

Victoria looked up and saw Shoure by chance, immediately shouting, "Shoure."

Alexander pushed the office door and carried her in, saying, "Today, no one can help you."

Shoure thought for a moment, then walked away with the file.

Once the office door closed, Alexander placed her on the desk, wrapping his arms around her. "Let's see how this desk performs."
