Chapter 424 Cursing Her Husband
The few girls immediately walked out.
The elevator doors closed, leaving only the couple inside.
"That's harsh, cursing your husband to be infertile," Alexander said as he walked closer, slowly raising his hands to lean on either side of her.
"If you divorce me, you won't be my husband." Victoria didn't show any weakness on her face, but her eyes and breath were all tense.
Honestly, she actually thought it would be a pity if he had any sexual dysfunction with his physique like that.
After all, the Harrington family were all good-looking people.
Of course, the Kensington family was no less.
Alexander frowned, then smiled as he leaned closer to her face. When he was about to touch her, he lowered his seductive voice, "Should I thank you for that?"
"No, you don't. Without me, you can be free," Victoria leaned against the wall with the documents, and when she said this, she dared not look at him.
Alexander felt she was somewhat proud, with a sense of stubbornness that made him want to correct her.
"Have you forgotten again?" Alexander asked.
"Forget what?" Victoria looked up at him, bewildered.
Alexander's eyes always seemed Profound and inscrutable. Suddenly, his sexy fingers lightly pinched her chin, easily kissing her lips.
Their lips just lightly touched. Victoria held her breath and forgot to move. Alexander didn't move either.
Just like that, the blood in his body was already boiling.
Alexander felt that he could hardly restrain the beast inside him. Maybe one day, it would burst out and make love to her.
Although Victoria was only 5.5 feet tall and looked petite, she was not easy to control.
For instance, now, he only slightly gripped her slim waist, fearing he might break it.
Victoria gradually came back to her senses, her mouth twitching.
It was also at this moment that Alexander, in sync, slowly released her.
The elevator opened and closed, trapping her there.
No one came in, just a glance, and they both sensibly left.
When they reached the top floor, Alexander asked her in a low voice, "Do you remember?"
Victoria didn't speak. She just held tightly to what was in her arms as if this could give her some sense of security.
Alexander wiped away the saliva from the corner of her mouth, then continued, "You are not allowed to think about divorce again."
Victoria looked at him with red eyes, feeling choked but not making a sound.
She hated how he always forbade her from doing this or that, even though he was the one who suggested it first.
Her chest heaved with emotion, and she almost blurted out a retort, but knowing he wouldn't tell her the truth, she just lowered her head. Was that person working for him now? He was always so lenient with Isabella.
Victoria couldn't understand why he had to marry her.
Since Alexander listened to Isabella so much, why didn't he marry Isabella?
"Mr. Harrington? Mr. Jane is waiting for you," Janaye stood outside the elevator, finally couldn't help but lean in slightly, softly reminding them inside.
Alexander then remembered there were other things to attend to but still looked at the woman in front of him with lowered eyes, saying softly, "Give me a little more time."
That afternoon, Isabella posted on her social media: [I made mistakes, but luckily, my friends are willing to give me a chance. Thank you, my dear friends.]
The accompanying photo showed a group of friends, including Alexander, at a bar. Alexander looked cooperatively at the camera, while Isabella's chin rested on his arm, making them look as close as the rumors suggested.
To Victoria, it seemed like Isabella was thanking Alexander for forgiving her for hurting her.
Victoria looked at Alexander in Isabella's social media post, his eyes shining like stars, silently mocking.
Clearly, the scars on her wrist hadn't faded, and his promises were still fresh in her mind.
Victoria even wondered, 'Is there another Alexander in this world? One who keeps making promises to her, while another keeps breaking her heart.'
Shortly after, Olivia messaged her: [ I'll wait for you downstairs at your office building after work. Tonight, we drink till we drop.]
Victoria replied: [Okay.]
Olivia received her response and gestured to the people sitting next to her.
