Chapter 382 Sweet Treats
"Is it Grandma Harrington?" Janaye squinted her eyes, recognizing the voice before seeing the person.
Victoria immediately turned around. When seeing Grandma Harrington, she quickly stood up.
"Hi, darling, I came to see you." Eloise waved excitedly at her, as if they had reunited after a long time.
Victoria couldn't rush Eloise, who was so lovely, so she had to walk over to support her. "Why did you come suddenly?"
"I just found a suitable day for your wedding this morning, so I wanted to tell you in person and let your colleagues share the joy." Eloise replied.
Eloise, being so considerate and cheerful, easily won everyone's favor.
Additionally, the delightful treats she provided endeared her to everyone even more. However, this also meant that the news of their wedding was soon going to be known by many. There were at least a hundred people present at that moment.
Eloise spoke loudly and excitedly, with an enthusiasm that was hard to ignore.
“Where's Alexander? Why isn't he joining you for dinner? Take me to find him; I need to give him a piece of my mind," Eloise said unhappily, noticing her grandson's absence.
"Grandma Harrington, he's still speaking with clients and hasn't arrived yet," Victoria explained to her.
"Alexander is here."
As soon as she finished speaking, a voice came from nearby.
Victoria turned around.
Alexander, wearing the clothes she helped find, walked towards them, looking surprised at Eloise. "Why do you come to the company?"
Eloise glanced at him, deliberately saying loudly, "Of course, I come to share treats and celebrate with everyone for your happiness."
Alexander's face tightened upon hearing this. But he quickly smiled and asked Victoria, "Why don't you tell me Grandma Harrington was here in advance?"
She had just found out as well.
And the way the grandmother and grandson acted was strange, especially the look Eloise gave Alexander.
"The treats have been distributed. The two of you, come with me," Alexander said as he already put his arm around Eloise's shoulder, asking her and Victoria to follow him.
And the treats brought by Eloise were distributed by her attendants one by one.
Who didn't like treats?
Everyone did.
In the private room, as soon as they sat down, a staff member came in to pour water.
Alexander smoothly took the water jug and said, "Tell them to bring the dishes, I'll take care of it."
The staff member left immediately.
Eloise suddenly exclaimed, then took out a chocolate-flavored treat from her coat pocket. "Let's celebrate their wedding together."
The staff member congratulated Alexander and Mrs. Kensington and thanked Eloise. Eloise was pleased and told the staff to bring more treats for the elders.
The staff happily carried the treats out.
Seeing how happy she was, Eloise turned back to Victoria and Alexander and remarked, "The staff here are so lively and clever.
Alexander was actually in a good mood, just being wished for many children.
He actually wanted a daughter, not sure if his wish would come true.
Alexander looked at Victoria, who ignored him, pouring tea for Eloise and warned her, "Be careful. It's hot."
Only then did Victoria give him a sideways glance, wondering why he suddenly spoke like that?
Eloise glanced at her grandson, thought for a moment, and asked, "I hear you took Isabella to the hospital this morning?"
Alexander frowned, looking at her. "How did you know?"
“You took your wife for a pre-pregnancy check-up yesterday, and today you took your rumored girlfriend to the hospital. Alexander, are you trying to create a scandal for our Harrington family?" Eloise complained.
Victoria lifted the tea, took a sip silently.
Alexander glanced at Victoria, then smiled, saying to Eloise, "One is a childhood friend. The other is a partner who sleeps in the same bed. Do you think I can't tell who's more important?"
