Chapter 103 He Called Her Honey
"What's the matter?" Alexander answered the phone.
"I wanted to bring you some food, but they said you were busy and wouldn't let me up," Isabella said.
"I am indeed busy," Alexander said, looking at the restless, temperamental little thing in his arms.
"Having a meeting?" Isabella asked again.
"No, just trying to pacify a temperamental little thing," he said softly.
Victoria suddenly raised her eyes at his and quickly covered his mouth before he could say anything else.
What was he saying? A temperamental little thing? What little thing? Wasn't she a person? She wasn't little at all.
Alexander silently looked at her and then set his phone down.
"Don't talk nonsense," Victoria scolded him.
Alexander didn't say anything. He just smiled and then held the phone in front of her.
Victoria was speechless. He hadn't hung up.
Alexander took hold of her wrist, put the phone down, and then picked it up again. "I'll hang up first."
Victoria was boiling with anger. Now she was even more certain that he was just trying to provoke her and Isabella. She immediately became angry and twisted her wrist.
Alexander had to let her go. When she pushed against his chest with both hands, Alexander just easily held her slender waist in his hand. "Honey."
Victoria couldn't believe it. What did he just call her?
"Honey, is it okay if I call you that?" Alexander smiled softly.
"I don't think so," she immediately refused.
"Then what should I call you? Baby?"
Victoria couldn't answer.
Victoria was shocked, and unknowingly, a blush rose on her face. Gradually, her face turned redder and redder.
"You... you..."
"What about me?"
"Don't call me that randomly."
Victoria stuttered; she was almost unable to speak.
He dared call her Honey?
"How is that random? You're my wife. Besides, if I don't call you affectionately, you might run off with someone else." Alexander said.
"I don't think so." Victoria responded.
"Are you sure?"
Alexander restrained himself.
Did she really think he was just angry? He went almost crazy when he saw her with Adrian. He might be jealous for a long, long time, until she was willing to fill his heart with some sweetness, or perhaps, a lot of sweetness.
He was not an easy person to satisfy.
For example, he had just kissed her several times, and now, he wanted to kiss her again.
"Of course not... Don't call me that." She was a little afraid of making him angry and being kissed again, so she mumbled stubbornly with her head down.
Alexander smiled at her response, then cupped her face. The warmth of her skin in his palm grew hotter, but he couldn't help but stare straight at her, then reluctantly told her, "I'm about to go crazy now."
He was going crazy? She was the one about to go crazy, right?
He acted like he was going to devour her in the morning, which scared her half to death. Now, he was calling her honey in the office?
Victoria's heart trembled, and then she remembered something more important.
Oh my god. They were in the office. This was a workplace. What was he doing?
"It's time to work." Victoria reminded him
"Then how should I address you from now on?" Alexander asked seriously.
Victoria didn't dare meet his eyes and just said softly, "Just continue calling me Victoria."
"Oh, Victoria."
"Mm."
"Victoria."
Victoria didn't want to respond to him.
"Victoria, Victoria..." Alexander continued,
When she finally met his gaze in confusion, he stopped.
