Chapter 819 I Wanted to Marry You Since I Was Ten
Benjamin looked down at Tessa, who had sneaked out, and couldn't help but feel a pang of heartache.
There was a time when he thought she was pregnant, but it turned out to be a mistake.
At that time, her parents almost agreed to their marriage.
But when he found out she wasn't pregnant, he suddenly felt that he couldn't use such a low tactic just to get married.
Since he loved her, he should sincerely get her parents' approval.
Even though it would be very difficult.
Tessa was a bit damp, so Benjamin took off his coat and draped it over her shoulders, then held her close. "I'll find a time to go and ask them to let you marry me."
"Don't bother, they don't like you."
"But I want to marry you. It's worth the trouble."
Benjamin said, looking at her.
Tessa's nose tingled, and her eyes instantly reddened as she leaned into his embrace. "I don't want you to suffer."
"In the future, we can meet openly. That's more important than anything. This bit of suffering is nothing."
Benjamin said.
The rain was getting heavier, and Benjamin's car was driven back to his private residence.
Later, Benjamin called Alexander. Alexander's car had just pulled into his garage. "I'm back. Hanging up."
Alexander took out the umbrella from the car, opened it, and walked out.
He had never felt the distance from the garage to his front door to be so far. He couldn't wait to rush to Victoria's bedside and see her face.
By now, she ought to be asleep.
After entering the house, Alexander gently placed the umbrella on the stand and then strode inside.
He wanted to go to the master bedroom, but he turned and went to the guest room next door to take a shower.
Victoria wasn't asleep either. Ava had just messaged her, saying Adrian got drunk and had a fight with someone. Adrian still had feelings for Victoria.
Victoria thought Ava had fallen for Adrian, but maybe because Ava was his manager, she couldn't pursue Adrian.
Victoria didn't think too much about it. Ava was rational and thorough, so if she didn't share her feelings, she must have her reasons.
As for Adrian, Victoria felt helpless.
No matter how good Adrian was to her, he was still Alexander's brother.
Victoria later fell asleep with a headache, but her sleep was light.
When the door creaked, she thought it was a dream.
But then she felt a cool touch behind her and quickly opened her eyes, turning to see who was holding her. "Alexander?"
She asked softly, her heart pounding.
"It's me."
His deep voice responded, holding her tighter against his chest.
Victoria's heart raced, and it took her a while to react. "What are you doing here?"
"Benjamin said he was going to the Hughes family to seek approval for his marriage to Tessa, but I've wanted to marry you since I was ten."
Victoria was stunned, turning to look at him.
But it was pitch dark around them, and she couldn't see anything.
And their position was awkward; she couldn't see him at all. So she lay back on the pillow.
Alexander held her head, placing his arm under her neck, then continued to hold her. "Vicky, are you really that heartless?"
Victoria lay in his arms, unable to think.
He wanted to marry her since he was ten.
She was just a baby then.
Alexander sighed, holding her tighter, and whispered in her ear, "I miss you so much."
Victoria was even more confused. What was going on with him?
But she felt like he had been drinking.
How many drinks did he have?
Could it be like that night when she accidentally drank some spirits?
Victoria couldn't figure it out, but her heart was already in her throat.
"Alexander, don't do this. I can hardly breathe."
Victoria was feeling suffocated by his grip.
Alexander suddenly let go of her, then got up and pinned her beneath him, his eyes glazed with drunkenness. "Did you miss me?"
Victoria was baffled.
He wasn't fully pressing down on her, yet she couldn't move at all.
And soon, his thin lips were on hers, shutting down the words she wanted to say.
All Victoria could taste was the alcohol on his breath, even toothpaste couldn't cover it.
She knew that drink well; it was the one he had been drinking for years.
His kiss seemed light on her lips but was deep and lingering.
Victoria quickly became dizzy from his kisses. Her hands were pressed against his chest, but she could only feel his heart pounding wildly, unable to push him away.
Alexander's increasingly intense kisses moved from her lips to her jaw. Victoria tilted her head back in discomfort, making it easier for him to kiss her neck.
There were still many old marks there that hadn't faded.
Victoria didn't understand how, despite everything that had happened, they still reacted to each other's advances.
Was love always separate from sex?
Could even enemies end up in the same bed?
"Alexander."
She finally managed to speak, turning her face away in distress. She raised her hand to cup his face, then looked at him.
Alexander seemed drunk, his eyes full of undisguised desire. As he leaned in to kiss her lips again, which were already glistening from his kisses, Victoria quickly cupped his face higher. "No."
"I will."
He murmured childishly.
"No."
"I want to, Tori. I've been holding back for so long."
He said pitifully, raising his face out of her soft hands and leaning in to kiss her again.
Victoria quickly cupped his face again, looking at him seriously. "Alexander, are you drunk?"
"I'm not."
Alexander mumbled, but as he touched her forehead, he kissed it several times.
Victoria, kissed too many times, could only hold his face, trying to make him look at her.
She thought he must be drunk; otherwise, he would admit he was drunk.
"It's late. Let's just sleep, okay?"Victoria tried to coax him.
Alexander's expression turned gloomy. "No, I want to make love to you."
As he spoke, he removed her hands and then wrapped himself around her again.
She was quickly trapped.
Their fingers interlocked, her hands raised above her head in a surrendering gesture.
His kisses became more frequent, and Victoria almost gave up struggling.
Alexander started unbuttoning her clothes, murmuring, "Baby, will you wear a short skirt from now on?"
Victoria couldn't help but laugh, hearing his words.
Alexander just couldn't change his lousy nature. A short skirt?
"You can do whatever you want, for as long as you want. I agree to everything."
As soon as he let go of her, Victoria immediately cupped his face again, looking at him with an incredibly gentle yet firm gaze.
Alexander suddenly stopped his gaze no longer as intense.
Victoria looked at the suddenly still Alexander on top of her, still speaking in a gentle, negotiating tone. "Tonight, I'll please you. Tomorrow, you satisfy me once, okay?"
"What are you talking about?"
