Chapter 565 I Can Only Accommodate You
Isabella said with venom, "I'll send her to your bed."
——
When Alexander reached the floor where Victoria was staying, a familiar man was just coming out of her room.
It was Jason.
He was visibly startled upon seeing Alexander, but then, remembering he was coming out of Victoria's room, he puffed out his chest and walked toward Alexander.
Alexander's cold, stern gaze passed over Jason's face without lingering.
After passing by Alexander, Jason suddenly turned around and asked, "Didn't you see me?"
Alexander glanced at him and replied indifferently, "Since you abandoned her when she was helpless, why did you come back ?"
Jason's eyes welled up, and he found himself at a loss for words.
Alexander didn't knock but directly swiped his card to enter.
Jason was stunned as he saw Alexander push the door open and go inside.
Alexander had Victoria's room card.
Victoria had indeed gotten back together with him.
Jason thought, 'Stupid woman, why are you going back to that arrogant man to be tormented again?'
But what Alexander said wasn't without reason. Even now, after he had proposed to Victoria, his parents sometimes lost sleep, worrying that Victoria would bring a curse upon their family.
Jason indeed lacked the confidence to ask Victoria to come back to him, but he knew he had feelings for her.
Inside the room, hearing the door open from the outside, Victoria looked over in confusion.
Alexander approached her, but she stood there in a daze, unmoving.
Victoria almost thought she was hallucinating.
However, when Alexander stood before her, she snapped back to reality and pretended to be calm, speaking softly, "You didn't answer my calls, so why are you here?"
Alexander explained, "It's better to talk face-to-face."
On the phone, misunderstandings were easy to occur.
"Fine, then say what you have to say now." Victoria looked at his chest, her voice soft and uncertain.
When he got close, her mind became chaotic.
Alexander warned her, "Don't let him into your room again. I hate that he smells like you."
Victoria looked at him in confusion, then couldn't help but yell, "Are you crazy..."
Before she could finish, Alexander cupped her face and silenced her with a kiss.
They had been together for less than two minutes before he kissed her.
Victoria thought, 'Why is he so fond of kissing me?'
Victoria came to her senses and immediately tried to push him away. However, Alexander held her face, making it impossible to escape.
She was too weak to resist him, and soon he had her pinned against the floor-to-ceiling window, kissing her passionately.
She didn't know how long it lasted, but when he pressed his forehead against hers, suppressing his breath, he commanded, "Don't let him into your room again. Promise me."
"Why should I promise you?" Victoria held back for a moment but couldn't help retorting.
"Because we're about to get married, and I don't want any scandals between us during this time." Alexander was serious.
"What if I can't promise that?" Victoria asked defiantly.
Her voice was somewhat timid under his imposing presence.
"Then..." Alexander rubbed his forehead against hers, a helpless smile spreading across his face. "I'll have to accommodate you."
Victoria looked up in surprise.
Alexander gave her a bit of space.
They looked at each other.
In a low, pleasant voice, he said, "I won't allow any scandals before the wedding, especially involving me."
Victoria shook her head and said, "But I won't marry you."
"You will," Alexander said, then kissed her again.
Victoria tried to dodge, but he immediately wrapped his arm around her waist.
"Alexander..."
She thought she could escape, but suddenly, she couldn't breathe.
He started sucking on her neck.
Victoria's hands were on his shoulders, and as he sucked harder, she could only grip his shoulders tightly. It looked like she was responding, but she was actually in pain.
Some undefinable time later, when her mind went blank, and she thought she might pass out, he suddenly stopped sucking so hard. After a two-second pause, he began to kiss her gently, as if teasing and comforting.
Victoria's breath gradually returned, but her legs were so weak she almost collapsed.
Fortunately, Alexander held her tightly, preventing her from falling.
But soon, he held her face in his palms again and said seductively, "Let's talk back at the new house, okay?"
"I don't want to," Victoria refused. Her voice was completely hoarse.
He heard it clearly but looked at her fragile state and said, "Grandpa and Grandma are there, and they're preparing dinner. I promised to bring you back."
Victoria was skeptical, but his eyes were so sincere.
"If you really don't want to stay at the new house, we can have dinner with them, and I'll use the excuse of you having a night shoot to bring you back. I promise," Alexander spoke to her patiently.
Victoria still didn't fully trust him. After thinking for a moment, she couldn't help but ask, "Can you call Grandma first?"
Alexander was puzzled. "Why?"
"I need to make sure they are really there." Victoria's voice was light but firm.
"Okay," Alexander agreed.
Victoria didn't expect him to agree and suddenly thought, 'Did he really bring Brett and Eloise over?'
Victoria was in a dilemma when he sat her on a nearby chair and then video-called Eloise.
As soon as the call connected, Victoria saw the sofa in the new house.
"When are you two coming back?" Eloise asked anxiously in the video, but when she saw Victoria, she immediately smiled warmly and spoke kindly, "Victoria, I'm waiting for you to come home for dinner. What time will you be back? Don't keep me waiting too long, okay?"
Alexander didn't say anything; he just looked at the woman in his arms.
Victoria felt a bit awkward and said, "Grandma, you're really at the new house."
Eloise replied, "Yes, Brett and I came specifically to see your new house. We're not leaving tonight; we'll stay here together. The sea view here is much better than at Metro House."
"Yes, it is."Victoria responded awkwardly but politely.
The scenery and air there were nice, but...
Later, Victoria sat in his car with a burdened brain.
She felt like she had made a wrong decision.
When Dennis called her, she immediately answered, "Mr. Barnes? Is there a last-minute night shoot? Okay, I'll head back right away."
Victoria's phone was suddenly snatched from her hand, but she insisted on finishing her sentence.
She cursed inwardly, 'Why did he take my phone? How rude!'
"Dennis, right? She's with me now. Our wedding is imminent, and I don't want her involved in too many night shoots. That's all," Alexander commanded in a deep voice.
