Chapter 964 Warning
Speculation could disturb one's eating and sleeping patterns, it was better to have a definite time to look forward to.
Anticipation brought much more joy than speculation.
But Victoria didn't want to ask Alexander.
Or maybe it had been too long; she hadn't been able to ask Alexander for anything for so long that she didn't dare to make a request.
Victoria turned and walked silently on the familiar street. When she was almost at school, she turned her head, "Alexander."
"You finally remembered me."
Alexander strode forward with his long legs and reached out to hold her hand.
"How about I take you to see where I study?"
"Okay."
Alexander looked at her for a moment, then agreed firmly.
Victoria took him to the school and introduced him to every interesting place.
Her school had a great atmosphere, and everyone got along well.
On Sunday, before Alexander left, he found Frank, and then he took Victoria to the car heading to the airport.
Victoria drove carefully, only glancing at Alexander at the traffic lights, and asked, "Why do you keep looking at me?"
"I can't get enough of you." He said with a smile.
Victoria didn't ask much, letting him look, and then started the car again.
His mind flashed back to his dream, and he thought it must be because he had been thinking too much that he had such a dream.
At the airport, Alexander was still holding her hand.
In the crowd, she stopped, smiled gently, and said, "Don't come next week."
"What if I miss you?"
"We can video call."
"But can a video call hold your hand, touch your face?"
Alexander cupped half of Victoria's face, lowered his head, and gently kissed her lips, whispering, "Can it let me kiss you?"
Of course, it couldn't, but she felt a bit guilty letting him travel back and forth like this.
"I'm willing, wholeheartedly." He said again.
Hearing these words, Victoria's gaze wavered.
She nodded and looked away, not wanting him to see the tears in her eyes, then softly said, "You should go."
Everything seemed like just ordinary things.
Ordinary kisses, ordinary gazes, ordinary smiles, and ordinary farewells.
Alexander kissed Victoria again, then leaned close and whispered, "Wait for me to come back."
"Okay." She lowered her eyes and whispered.
But this time, she looked at him and smiled, "Don't look back, I want to watch you go in."
Alexander hooked his finger around Victoria's, didn't speak, just stared at her for more than half a minute.
But eventually, he had to let go and turn around.
His Adam's apple moved slightly, then he released her warm finger, murmuring, "I'm leaving."
Everything was as ordinary as could be.
He would come back after he was done, but as he kept walking, she just watched silently.
Her tears fell so easily, she didn't know if it was because of his silent sacrifice.
Victoria wondered if he wanted to take her back with him.
Her heart suddenly surged, and her tears flowed even more.
His tall figure stopped in front.
Victoria raised her hand to press against her nose, held her breath, and continued to watch him silently.
He promised her he wouldn't look back, and he knew he couldn't break that promise again.
Victoria felt her heart was full and trembling, afraid he would see her ungraceful state if he turned back.
But she wanted to look at him a little longer.
Alexander continued to walk forward, and she finally stopped shaking so much, but turned slightly to hold back her tears, so she could keep watching his back.
Alexander, goodbye.
