Chapter 910 Did You Ever Plan to Stay

Olivia sent everything out and then quietly put her phone away.

However, when she looked up, she noticed that Alexander seemed to have seen it, making her inexplicably guilty.

"Of course, you're a jerk. As a man, you can't make your wife happy and instead make her so miserable. You're a jerk. If you weren't my son, I would have caused a scene with you so many times by now, ruining your reputation."

"Don't get yourself worked up, Mrs. Harrington."

Olivia was frightened and quickly patted Arabella's back to comfort her.

"If Victoria doesn't come back within a week, don't come to the Harrington Mansion anymore."

After saying that, Arabella got up and left.

"Mrs. Harrington?"

Olivia was worried, but thinking she had something to say, she had to stay.

Alexander smiled helplessly, then looked up at Olivia, "What about you? Are you here to scold me on behalf of Victoria too?"

"Do you want me to scold you? I'm here to inform you that the company Victoria started two years ago needs to expand, so..."

"Ask Graham to help you."

"Okay."

Olivia didn't dare to lecture Alexander, especially since Arabella had already left.

She could only suppress her dissatisfaction.

"Olivia."

"What?"

"How can I get Victoria to come back?"

Alexander asked in a low, utterly defeated voice.

Olivia had never encountered Alexander in such a state of despair, as if he had lost his very essence. It sounded almost funny at first, but in reality, it was heartbreaking.

In the afternoon, Olivia called Victoria, "Alexander seems miserable, Tori. He must regret it."

"Olivia, don't tell me about his matters anymore."

Victoria thought for a moment and seriously instructed Olivia.

"Do you not love him anymore?" Olivia asked.

"Yes."

Victoria lowered her head, choking up.

Love was too exhausting.

She didn't want to love anymore.

"If that's the case, then forget what I have said."Olivia thought, 'Victoria probably didn't dare to love him anymore.'

After hanging up the phone, Olivia had already reached the entrance of the Harrington Group office building. Looking up at the overcast sky, she felt even more depressed.

Forget it, she couldn't even figure out her feelings, how could she meddle in Victoria's marriage?

After making her decision, Olivia drove back to VicLiv.

Regardless of how cherished love may be, one must prioritize their career.

That night, Alexander was having dinner at a restaurant when Daisy came in with some dishes.

The men all fell silent when they saw Daisy.

Everyone knew who Daisy was there for.

And tonight, Daisy was even wearing a name tag.

Unexpectedly, she applied to be the supervisor of the private dining rooms at this restaurant.

"These are our new dishes. Please give them a try."

After serving the dishes, Daisy smiled and placed a dish in front of Alexander.

Everyone immediately knew that Daisy was waiting for Alexander to try it first, so they all looked towards him.

But Alexander asserted, "Sorry, I have no appetite."

Daisy didn't expect that in front of so many people, Alexander wouldn't even give her a comment. She smiled and said, "Then could I trouble the other gentlemen to try it first?"

"If Mr. Harrington doesn't eat, how dare we?"

Said the CEO next to Alexander.

"Then just take it all away."

Alexander smiled and replied.

No one dared to object to that.

The spacious private room fell into an unsettling silence. It seemed everyone was waiting to see what Daisy would say to Alexander.

If she could get Alexander to agree to try the dish, it would demonstrate that she possessed some clever stratagems.

But Daisy smiled and replied softly, "Then let's take it all away. But Mr. Harrington, you should order another dish."

"What? We can't sell this dish tonight? You must promote it?"Alexander looked indifferently at Daisy, and the CEO on his other side smiled but was unpleased as he questioned Daisy.

Daisy was being too clueless.

Alexander's feelings were shown all over his face; he was disgusted with her. Why did she keep talking?

If she weren't a woman, she would have been kicked out by now.

"It's just that you gentlemen are so distinguished. If you praise our dishes, then we..."

"Stop."

The person sitting near the door spoke up, looking at Daisy and reminding her.

Daisy felt a wave of embarrassment. If she couldn't see that everyone at the table was watching her make a fool of herself, she would truly be as blind as Arabella claimed. Daisy glanced at Alexander once more and recognized the ruthlessness and heartlessness within him. The waiter had been standing at the door, ready to run. Daisy didn't notice them until she turned back, then she lowered her head and walked away. The door was then closed from the outside, and someone remarked, "It seems Ms. Bryant hasn't given up on Mr. Harrington."

Everyone then made a few jokes about Alexander, and he just smiled and didn't mind.

But they drank a few more glasses of wine, and later, only Alexander was left.

Daisy looked at the private room door several times, confirming that Alexander hadn't come out.

By eleven o'clock, there were only two tables of guests left in the hall and a few tables in the upstairs private rooms, but they were all quiet.

Daisy changed back into a simple white dress, tucked her short hair behind her ears, and stood neatly at Alexander's private room door. She thought for a moment and instinctively reached into her pocket.

She still believed she needed to use the same perfume as Victoria.

Because it had no noticeable scent, she deliberately sprayed more.

Daisy knocked on the door, but there was no response from inside.

She quietly opened a crack and felt as if she were hallucinating. Alexander, who should have been asleep on the table, seemed to be talking.

Daisy couldn't hear clearly but couldn't help straining to listen.

"Mom has already given me an ultimatum. If you don't come back, she won't let me return to the Harrington Mansion."

"You know how important I am to the elders. If they force me not to go back because of you, do you think they'll feel good about it? If you have any conscience left, come back."

Who was coming back?

Who was Alexander talking to?

Was he talking to himself?

Or was he on the phone?

But his phone was on the table.

Daisy quietly walked closer and saw that Alexander's phone screen was lit.

Alexander was making an international call?

"I won't go back, and they won't stop you from returning to the Harrington Mansion."

"Victoria, don't push me too far."

Alexander's voice was hoarse, whether from the alcohol or anger.

He called out Victoria's name.

"If you have nothing else to say, I'm hanging up. I'll have Frank bring Strawberry back tomorrow."

"Victoria."

Alexander called out to Victoria in a pained voice, filled with helplessness.

"Goodbye."

"Victoria, one last thing."

Alexander lay on the table, his forehead resting on his arm, suppressing his sorrow as he said.

"Okay, what do you want to say?"

"Were you ever planning to stay? Diana told me you..."

"Mr. Harrington, you're drunk. Let me take you home?"
