Chapter 419 Help me. I feel a little dizzy

"Get out." Suddenly, an unhappy voice came from outside the restaurant.

"Okay," Victoria subconsciously responded.

"Comfort him well, don't provoke him, and we'll discuss your matters later," Eloise softly instructed her.

"I understand." Victoria nodded, bid farewell to the elders, and then left.

Alexander drove back to the Regal Retreat at a reckless speed.

Victoria held onto the safety handle tightly, looked at him, and said, "Please, don't be angry."

"Shut up," Alexander snapped, not wanting to hear a single word.

"If you slow down, I'll shut up," Victoria said, fear evident in her voice.

Alexander glanced at her, then accelerated even more.

It was when they entered the city that the car slowed down.

Victoria's heart was still racing. After sitting down, she whispered to him, "I don't doubt you, and besides..."

"What?" Alexander was stunned. The car stopped at a traffic light, and he turned to look at her.

"Even if you are what they think, it doesn't matter to me. I don't care," Victoria replied.

That night, there was news of a sports car being impounded by the police.

Victoria, his secretary, paid the fine, apologized sincerely, and was then allowed to go home with him.

But as soon as she entered the hall, someone called out to him.

Isabella, talking to the staff at the front desk, noticed their return and greeted them, "You're back. Would you like to come to my place for a drink?"

Isabella looked at Alexander.

Alexander, looking at Victoria and remembering her indifferent words, strode inside, "Sure."

Victoria followed silently, not wanting to wait for the next elevator.

Isabella hurried over and stood beside him in the elevator.

Victoria stood alone in front, feeling a bit awkward but helpless.

And Victoria felt a draft on the back of her head, thinking she should stand at the back next time.

"Help me, Alexander. I feel a little dizzy," Isabella said in a weak voice.

Victoria saw in the reflection on the elevator wall that Isabella was leaning against him.

Alexander remained silent, feeling more and more annoyed, thinking, 'How can Victoria dare to doubt me? How many times had I endured it? Does she have no idea? And what is the result? I cherish her so much, only to have her think I have performance issues. The elders already cause me enough trouble, and now my wife is suspecting me!'

"Do you remember the bracelet you gave me last time? The doctor says it helps improve sleep, so I've been wearing it lately, and I've been sleeping much better." Isabella held his arm with one hand and raised the bracelet on her wrist for him to see. Even Alexander didn't know what kind of bracelet it was.

Was it amber? He wasn't sure.

Sometimes, some gifts were bought by others.

He couldn't help but glance at the woman in front of him. The diamond bracelet on her wrist, the one he had personally chosen, was now apparently forgotten.

"We're here. Let's go," Isabella said as the elevator doors opened.

"No, if you're not feeling well, you should rest early." Alexander raised his arm to make her let go.

Isabella looked up. "I'll feel even worse if you don't come. Just sit for a while. I personally make better drinks than them."

"Have I been saying that?" Alexander felt a bit resistant mentally.

He didn't remember emphasizing such a thing and didn't like repeating himself.

"Of course, don't you remember?" Isabella continued asking.

"Victoria has period cramps. You go," Alexander stared at the back of Victoria's head, finding an excuse to refuse.

Isabella felt extremely disappointed. But seeing he had no intention of leaving, she had to give up. She believed that just a little while should be enough to make Victoria back off.

"Goodbye, Victoria," Isabella greeted.

Victoria just gave Isabella a cold glance.

By this time, Isabella had already left. She looked at her gently and then glanced at the person behind her.

When the elevator closed, Isabella walked away with some reluctance.

Although Isabella's face was gentle and caring, she was already very excited inside. She felt there would definitely be some commotion on the rooftop tonight, perhaps a quarrel.

After the elevator closed, Alexander's gaze at Victoria became even more unhappy, asking, "Why don't you say goodbye to Ms. Montgomery?"
