The sudden turn of events drew everyone's attention towards the source of the voice, Cathy Sanders, a woman with red hair, who squinted at Pearl with a scornful smile..
Pearl's expression changed instantly, and she looked at Cathy coldly, saying, "Cathy, what do you mean by this?"
Cathy shrugged indifferently, "I'm just stating the facts. Didn't rumors spread all over the school back then? Saying you seduced someone else's boyfriend."
Before she could finish her sentence, Pearl grabbed the glass in front of her and splashed it without hesitation. The red wine spilled on Cathy's white dress, instantly staining it with a large dark red blotch.
"Are you out of your mind?" Cathy screamed, standing up and trying to lunge at Pearl.
At this moment, another female classmate who was close to Cathy suddenly stood up, waving her fists as if to hit Pearl. Pearl reacted quickly, pushing her away with such force that the classmate stumbled and fell to the ground.
The private room instantly descended into chaos. Some were trying to intervene, while some were just standing by, and others were discreetly taking out their phones to record.
"Oscar, this restaurant is really good. You should try it later. If you like it, we can come again next time."
At this moment, Haley walked alongside Oscar, heading towards the second floor.
She was very happy because they had originally planned to have dinner tomorrow, but she wanted to see him tonight, and he immediately agreed.
The noisy sounds from the private room could be heard outside as well.
The private room was not completely enclosed, with shadows of people visible inside.
Oscar's gaze fell upon Pearl.
'She was so intimate with Adrian that they were about to attend a party together.'
Pearl and Adrian were not just old classmates; in the eyes of others, they were a couple!
Suddenly, the door to the private room was pushed open, and Oscar walked in. He looked around and finally fixed his gaze on Pearl.
"What's going on?" His voice was low and powerful.
With Oscar's presence, his natural aura was imposing, putting pressure on everyone.
"Mr. Brown." Some classmates recognized Oscar and quickly stood up to greet him. They knew of Oscar's power, and here, no matter how capable one was, it was best not to go against the Brown Group.
"Oscar." Haley hesitated, wearing a flirtatious expression on her face.
Ignoring Haley, Oscar walked straight to Pearl and coldly demanded, "Pearl, come home with me!"
Seeing him and Haley together, Pearl shook off his hand, saying, "Why should I go home with you? We have no relationship."
Detecting the scent of alcohol on her, indicating she had been drinking, Oscar's frown deepened, "What are you up to?"
After drinking, Pearl was bold, staring at him and saying, "Can't you see? My classmates' gathering isn't over yet."
At this point, Adrian also put down his glass and hurriedly explained, "Mr. Brown, we were just having fun."
"What do you mean?" Oscar scanned the room before continuing, "You let her be falsely accused."
Feeling remorseful, Adrian turned to Pearl and apologized, "I'm sorry, I should have looked out for you better earlier. I shouldn't have left you alone to deal with someone else."
"It's alright, I'm okay," Pearl reassured him.
"That's it!" Oscar bellowed, "Leave and go home."
He then grabbed Pearl's hand and unceremoniously led her out of the private room.
"Mr. Brown, please calm down," Adrian quickly said.
He had wanted to accompany Pearl, but seeing Oscar's actions and considering his own relationship with Pearl, he ultimately chose to remain silent. He didn't want to bring any unnecessary trouble or misunderstandings to Pearl.
Pearl didn't expect Oscar to be so angry.
In the private room, Haley watched the backs of Oscar and Pearl as they left, a smug smile playing on her lips.
‘Pearl, your turn will come,’ Haley sneered under her breath.
