Chapter 603 This Relationship Should Not Be Exposed

Pearl finally let out a big sigh of relief.

Whenever Janetta needed cash, asking Pearl was never an issue.

"I'll bring it to you. Just tell me where you are, or do you want to come get it yourself?" Pearl thought of everything.

Janetta replied, "You bring it to me, and help me get out of Willow Creek tonight."

At first, Janetta thought about packing her stuff, but then she realized as long as she had money, she didn't need to take anything else.

"Okay," Pearl agreed.

Then Janetta hung up.

A bit later, Janetta sent her location—it was a hotel.

Pearl grabbed her phone and transferred the money to another bank card. Then she told Oscar, "Get a few people to come with me."

Pearl decided to have these folks help Janetta leave Willow Creek.

Oscar frowned. "You're not taking me?"

"Janetta wants to see me. Just get a few people to follow me," Pearl said, making it clear she didn't plan to take Oscar.

Oscar looked upset. "Alfonso's woman just up and left with nothing. They're definitely pissed. You can't go without me."

"If you insist on coming, then let's go together." Pearl saw the gloom in Oscar's eyes and relented.

Oscar wrapped his arm around her waist, saying, "Of course, I'm going with you."

Meanwhile, after ending the call, Janetta waited for Pearl to arrive.

But less than two minutes later, the hotel room door opened from the outside.

Janetta was instantly on alert.

When she turned, she saw Damian striding in, his eyes as sharp as a dull knife. With the hostility radiating from Damian, he looked terrifying.

"I finally found you," Damian said, stepping closer.

The pressure from him made Janetta feel suffocated. "We're both adults now. How long are you going to keep messing with my life?"

Their relationship and Damian's constant interference made Janetta feel trapped.

Over the years, whether she was dating or contemplating marriage, things always went south for her. They either cheated, ditched her for someone else, or had their own personal problems.

The people her family set her up with, including those arranged by Damian, were either already in relationships, had fiancées, or had weird preferences.

She used to think she was just unlucky until one day, she accidentally entered Damian's study and discovered his secret.

On his computer, his desk, and all over the walls were her photos.

Damian already had a wife! Yet he still messed with her life!

After five years of this, she no longer wanted to live under Damian's control.

So she asked Pearl for $700,000, took Pearl's bank card, and planned to start over somewhere else.

But she never expected Damian to come after her.

Now Damian's face was dark.

Seeing Damian like this, Janetta was terrified!

"I don't want to interfere with you, but our father is dead, and your mother is gone. We're the closest people in this world. Janetta, only I can help you and protect you," Damian said, reaching out to her, looking almost pale.

Janetta wanted none of this. She shouted, "I don't need it! Damian, I've already told Pearl! She's my best friend, and you know who she is. If you dare hurt me, she and her husband won't let you off!"

Damian laughed dismissively. "But will others believe our relationship? Do you dare to tell anyone? Janetta, or do you want me to expose this myself?"

Janetta felt numb all over. Damian's words brought back memories of the past five years, his actions, and his voice.

Janetta couldn't take it anymore. She went crazy, grabbed a crystal glass from the coffee table, and smashed it.

She held a shard to her neck.

"Damian, back off. Push me and I swear I'll drop dead on the spot!" Overwhelmed with emotion, the shard had already cut her artery as she finished speaking.

Damian rushed forward and pressed hard on her wound. "Janetta, are you crazy? How have I wronged you? How am I worse than those people? Haven't I been good enough to you?"

Even if Janetta didn't like him, he had always paid attention to everything about her and supported whatever she wanted to do.

It could be said that Janetta's achievements today were largely due to Damian's help.

But Damian had never told Janetta.

Now Janetta wanted to avoid him forever in this way, how could Damian accept that?

Janetta gave a bitter smile. "I know you are very good to me. But our relationship is not allowed, and I don't expect it to be. I just hope for a normal relationship."

Saying this, Janetta tried to push Damian away, but he stood firm like a mountain, impervious to her forceful and emotional attempts.

Damian even ignored her wishes and picked her up by the waist. "Janetta, we will talk about it when you get better!"

With that, Damian carried Janetta out.

Janetta smelled the strong scent of blood in the air, getting dizzier.

Damian encountered Pearl and Oscar at the hotel entrance. Pearl didn't know what was going on, but seeing Janetta covered in blood, she quickly followed Damian.

Along the way, Oscar comforted Pearl, "It's okay, medical science is very advanced now, everything will be fine..."

"Oscar, I'm so scared! Besides you, I only have RavenWing, my adoptive parents, Christopher, and Janetta as my best friend. If something happens to her, I..." Pearl was sobbing uncontrollably.

She couldn't imagine Janetta being hurt.

So much blood, how deep must Janetta's wounds be? And how much pain must she be in?

Oscar held Pearl in his arms, patting her shoulder with his big hand. "I'll call Quincy and have him personally treat Janetta!"
