Chapter 345 The Road Was Blown Up
"Haley!" Mae showed up late, holding a parasol to block the sun.
Haley's dress was already dirty.
"Pearl has no manners. Let me help you clean it." Mae quickly squatted down and pulled out a tissue to wipe the dress.
Haley glared in the direction Pearl had left, eyes full of hatred. 'She's so sick, what right does she have to act superior? When Pearl's on her deathbed, she'll be the one begging for mercy.'
Trying to keep her cool, Haley said, "Let's go to Oscar's villa and wait for him!"
Eileen saw Haley's crazed look in the rearview mirror and smirked.
Pearl didn't care about Haley. Honestly, she didn't even want to acknowledge her.
It was Haley who kept pushing, always trying to harm her.
"The weather's nice today. We could set up a tent and go camping," Pearl suggested, noticing the bright sun.
"Great idea! Let's invite them to go camping," Eileen said excitedly. "Call Emma and the others."
Pearl pulled out her phone to organize the camping trip.
Just then, Jeffery called.
"Jeffery," Pearl answered quickly.
Jeffery's tone was tense. "Don't go any further!"
A honking sound interrupted the call.
Pearl looked ahead and saw no cars. "Jeffery, what did you just say?"
"Don't go any further!"
Pearl's face changed, sensing something was wrong.
"Eileen, stop the car!"
Before she could finish, an explosion sounded from the back, which blocked the road behind them.
Then came the terrified screams!
The massive explosion shook the cars behind them several meters away.
Their car was also affected, shaking violently, making it hard to control the steering wheel.
Eileen tried to stabilize the car but was shaken by the impact. After a sudden brake, the car skidded out.
The explosion shattered the windows, indicating how powerful it was.
Eileen and Pearl were both briefly knocked unconscious by the impact.
Eileen's head was cut by the glass, bleeding.
Suddenly, a few people appeared and dragged the unconscious Pearl out of the car.
Eileen, dazed and with blurred vision, surrounded by dust, couldn't see the chaos outside. She only saw Pearl being taken away.
"Pearl!" She tried to grab Pearl, but Pearl was getting farther away. Unable to withstand the impact, she passed out again!
The scene was a mess.
Some cars were blown to pieces, and the attack left people in panic, almost abandoning their cars to flee.
The road ahead was completely blown apart!
There were dead and injured, a tragic sight.
Meanwhile, Haley was still heading towards Oscar's villa when she realized she was on the wrong road.
"This isn't the way to Oscar's house. What are yo doing?" Haley confronted the driver, but before she could get close, the driver suddenly braked.
Haley lost her balance and fell.
"Haley." Mae immediately went to help her but was knocked out.
Haley fell, scraping her leg, and found Mae unconscious on top of her.
When she came to her senses, she realized the driver had already been replaced.
Her pupils contracted. "Who are you?"
The driver knocked Haley out, slung her over his shoulder, and got into another vehicle.
Pearl, still unconscious, vaguely felt the bumps, which almost made her vomit.
When she woke up, her hands and feet were tied, and she smelled a strong gasoline odor.
She was in a wooden house and felt someone tied to the pillar behind her.
She turned her head with effort and saw the corner of the person's clothes, confirming it was Haley.
Pearl frowned. 'Why am I tied up with Haley? Where is this place?'
Despite her panic, Pearl tried to stay calm.
Since Haley was tied up too, the person who did this must be against both of them, ruling out the possibility that Haley wanted to harm her.
If someone had a grudge against them, it was most likely related to Oscar. 'Could it be connected to the murder case?'
"Who kidnapped me!" Haley woke up suddenly, tense and alert, looking around.
She struggled.
Pearl pursed her lips. Although she didn't want to talk to her, she had to warn her, "Don't move, there's someone behind you!"
Haley then noticed Pearl behind her. "Pearl?"
"You're here too. Who kidnapped me? Is it you, jealous of me, and deliberately found someone to kidnap me?" Haley immediately questioned her, "Are you out of your mind!"
"Can you not be that foolish?" Pearl snapped. "I'm tied up too!"
Haley panicked. "Who kidnapped me? Do they want to die? Do they know who I am?"
Pearl was speechless. "You can't do anything now. If they want your life, you can't resist!"
Haley never thought this could happen to her.
However, she couldn't figure out who would go to such lengths to kidnap her!
"Oscar will come to save me!" Haley pinned her hopes on Oscar. "If he finds out I'm missing, he will definitely come."
She then started mocking Pearl. "Oscar will come to save me, but no one will save you."
Pearl was a bit disdainful of talking to he, whose words were too childish.
However, it was so quiet here now.
There must be people who hadn't been caught.
The Crimson Eclipse Society kidnapped them, probably having no other choice but to use them as leverage.
Desperados were terrifying. They could blow up the road and kidnap Pearl and Haley, too crazy!
"Pearl, didn't you hear me? Are you realizing how pathetic you are?" Haley was determined to outdo Pearl, not willing to lose in words.
Pearl didn't want to pay attention to her.
At this moment, there was a noise outside the door, which made Haley shut up.
As the door opened, they heard exaggerated laughter.
"You got them both, well done!"
Then, Pearl saw Donald, confirming that it was the same person who had kidnapped her before.
Donald looked at them with cold eyes, filled with hatred. "Oscar dared to destroy my base, so I'll make sure he loses everything!"
"It's you, Donald!" Haley's face changed. "Kidnapping Pearl is one thing, but why me?"
Donald looked at Haley, his hatred even deeper. "Why? Go ask Kevin what he did!"
Haley said, "How dare you! You betrayed us first, and you blame Kevin. Kevin and Oscar won't let you go!"
Donald slapped Haley across the face.
