Saskia didn't have to worry about that anymore.
She made up her mind and told Nathaniel her plans that very day.
As soon as she agreed, Nathaniel cupped the back of her head and kissed her deeply. When he finally pulled away, he was breathless, his forehead resting against hers. "This is amazing, Saskia. You finally agreed to marry me."
"Do you know how long I've been waiting for this day?"
Hearing Nathaniel's slightly trembling voice, Saskia couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy for him.
After all, it wasn't just him who had been waiting.
When Saskia had decided to leave back then, it had taken her a long time to struggle and let go of her feelings.

Pearl and Jeffery sent their blessings in the group chat and promised to be there for the wedding.

Nathaniel gently wrapped his arms around her waist from behind, his deep voice soft. "Actually, I saw her a few days ago."
Saskia quickly pulled away. "Why didn't you tell me?"
"Because she doesn't want to see you right now."
"Really?"
Saskia stumbled a few steps.
Nathaniel quickly caught her. If he hadn't, she might have fallen to the ground.
But Saskia's expression didn't improve.
What sister wouldn't be upset to know her sister was alive but refused to see her?
Saskia even blamed herself, wondering if she hadn't been a good enough sister, causing Azalea to avoid her.
Nathaniel comforted her. "Don't blame yourself. It's her decision. Besides, she will come to your wedding."
Saskia's dim eyes brightened a bit. "So she will come?"
Nathaniel's affirmative answer made Saskia feel a bit better.
He also mentioned that Azalea had let go of her past obsessions, which made Saskia breathe a sigh of relief.
It was enough to know she would see her.
The wedding was set for two weeks later, and there was a lot to prepare.
The first thing was the wedding dress.

Nathaniel held the dress up in front of her. "It fits perfectly. Keep it."

This man was shameless.
But she did feel a sweetness she couldn't experience alone.
Two weeks passed neither quickly nor slowly.
During this time, the Egan Group barely handled any business. Almost everyone was busy preparing for the grand wedding.
Now everyone knew about Saskia and Nathaniel's relationship.
"Ms. Fuller is really something. We work so hard, but she managed to win over the toughest one."
"Well, Ms. Fuller is capable."
"Yeah, if it were someone else, they might not have been able to handle Mr. Egan's cold demeanor."
The group laughed and joked, the atmosphere joyful.
Of course, there were some who were envious and jealous, but they didn't say anything, and Saskia ignored them.
The wedding venue was set at a century-old hotel, and Nathaniel had extravagantly booked the entire place.
It took three days just to decorate.
Nathaniel hired the best wedding planners and arranged for wedding cars.
The cars were provided by him and Oscar, with Pearl contributing a few as well. They would follow the wedding car in their own vehicles.
Seeing everything so well-prepared, Saskia felt both overwhelmed and deeply moved.
Her heart felt a mix of sweetness and sourness, like it was soaked in honey.
Pearl, who had come to see the venue with Saskia, nudged her with a smile. "How does it feel? Are you overwhelmed? I had a hand in this too, you know."
Saskia wiped her moist eyes and smiled shyly. "Thank you all so much for putting in so much effort for me."
"Don't mention it. We're friends, after all. If you really feel bad, just give me a smaller wedding gift."
"No way."
Saskia laughed. "A wedding gift is a must. I'll just make sure to toast your table more on the day."
They looked at each other and burst into laughter.
The night before the wedding, they were called to the Egan Estate by Jade. She personally handed Saskia a box. "This is a bracelet for you. It's an old family heirloom, not worth much."
Jade said it wasn't worth much.
But the jade bracelet she took out was crystal clear with a hint of green, obviously not a simple item, and it was a family heirloom.
With all these factors combined, Saskia didn't dare accept it. "No, Mrs. Egan, you should keep it. It's too valuable for me."
But Jade insisted, placing the bracelet in her hand. "This is a gift from the Egan family to the daughter-in-law. I said it's for you, so it's for you. Take good care of it."
Afraid of dropping the bracelet, Saskia didn't dare move and let Jade put it on her wrist.
