Chapter 767 It Really Isn't His
Saskia shook her head, refusing. "No, thanks. Benjamin can't have milk right now; he's got to avoid it."
"Then take it for yourself. You're so thin, you need the nutrition," Marlon insisted, pushing the milk towards her. "It's just milk, not some big deal. We've known each other forever. Are you really gonna be this formal over two cartons of milk?"
Azalea glanced at him, then at Saskia, a smile creeping onto her face.
Just yesterday, she had told Saskia that Saskia would eventually meet a good man who wouldn't care about her past, only about her.
And here he was!
At this, Saskia didn't want to accept it, but Azalea did.
Azalea reached out and took the milk. "Thanks. I'm Saskia's sister, Azalea. What's your name?"
"Marlon," Marlon said, keeping it short.
As he spoke, his eyes kept drifting toward Saskia.
Azalea noticed this. She used to look at George the same way. It was clear that Marlon really cared about Saskia.
Azalea knew that Saskia was hesitant to take the first step because of a past failed relationship.
But Saskia couldn't stay single forever.
Benjamin was young now and always calling for his mom, but when he grew up, he'd have his own life. What would happen to Saskia then? She'd be all alone.
Just as Azalea was thinking about how to set them up, a woman in a red dress walked over.
The woman marched right up to them, snatched the milk from Azalea's hands, and threw it to the ground.
"What the hell?" Azalea was stunned, her face turning sour as she realized what had happened. "This is ours. If you're gonna act crazy, go to the psych ward downstairs."
Marlon's expression darkened.
He tried to pull the woman away, but she shook off his hand and started yelling at Saskia and Azalea. "You two are shameless! Seducing someone else's husband, do you think being a mistress is fun?"
"What? You have a wife?" Azalea looked at Marlon in disbelief.
Then why was he coming to see Saskia and looking at her like that?
Cheating while married was disgusting.
Saskia wanted to explain, but the woman wouldn't listen.
When the woman checked Marlon's phone before, she found a photo of Saskia. In the photo, Saskia was wearing a school uniform and looked very young, clearly taken when she was still in school.
One photo wasn't enough to confront Marlon.
But yesterday, the woman found Saskia's name in Marlon's friend list. They had just added each other recently. In the adult world, men and women couldn't just be friends.
They must have an inappropriate relationship.
So the woman had been following Marlon and now caught him red-handed. "Friends, my ass. You two are shameless, lying through your teeth. Do I have to catch you in bed to make you admit it?"
"Watch your language," Saskia said, wanting to avoid conflict but not afraid of it either.
A woman suddenly showing up and accusing her of being a mistress was not something she would tolerate.
While Saskia was arguing with the woman, Nathaniel received the paternity test results from the hospital. The report clearly stated that Benjamin had no biological relation to him.
He read the report over and over, his eyes growing colder.
The result was as he expected.
Since that was the case, he had no reason to be lenient with Saskia.
With his morning work done and nothing else to do, he decided to go to the hospital and humiliate her.
With that thought, Nathaniel grabbed his car keys and left.
At the hospital, no matter what Saskia said, the woman was convinced Saskia was lying.
Especially when she saw the way Marlon looked at Saskia, she exploded. "People like you who seduce other people's husbands and ruin relationships deserve to be despised by everyone."
"Are you out of your mind? Saskia has said it countless times—they're just friends! They don't even chat regularly. You checked his phone; didn't you see that? And that old photo of Saskia? That was his doing, not hers!" Azalea exclaimed, unable to hold back any longer.
She had just been impressed with Marlon, but now she despised him.
He had a girlfriend and still came to see Saskia, causing her so much trouble.
"This has nothing to do with you. Shut up. You and your sister are both no good. Who knows what you do for a living?" the woman retorted and looked Azalea up and down. She pressed, "You're both the same. Maybe you're a professional mistress too!"
That comment infuriated Azalea.
She and George were a legitimate couple and even had an engagement party. They were open and honest, how could she be called a mistress?
"Say that again, and I'll tear your mouth apart!" Azalea rolled up her sleeves, ready to fight.
The woman was just as hot-tempered and ready to go.
Seeing this, Saskia quickly stepped in front of Azalea. "Calm down, don't fight."
Azalea was pregnant, and in the early stages, she needed to be extra careful.
What if she got hurt?
Even if they could hold the woman accountable later, the damage would be done, and no amount of compensation could fix that.
Hearing the word "pregnant," Azalea started to calm down.
Meanwhile, Marlon tried to use the moment to take the woman away. "Stop it, let's go. Haven't you embarrassed yourself enough?"
"Yeah, I've embarrassed you. I should just stay home like a fool, ignoring whatever you do outside," the woman shouted and pushed him away angrily.
Seeing Saskia's back, she was filled with rage and raised her bag to hit Saskia.
Her bag was full of things, including a phone and a whole set of makeup. If it hit Saskia's head, it could cause a concussion.
At the critical moment, Nathaniel appeared.
He grabbed the woman's wrist, his gaze piercing through her. "What do you think you're doing?"
His presence was so intimidating that the woman instantly lost her nerve.
She said, "I-I was hitting a mistress. She seduced my husband, I have every right to hit her."
"Do I need to explain the crime of intentional injury to you?" Nathaniel sneered. "I'm a lawyer, by the way."
The woman immediately backed down, not daring to cause any more trouble.
