Chapter 304 Do You Even Want Pearl to Live or Not?
Pearl wanted to call out to her.
Suddenly, a plump white pigeon flew towards them.
Pearl shrank back, afraid it might peck her.
But then she noticed something: the pigeon had a ring-like object in its beak.
Before she could react, the pigeon dropped the object into Oscar's hand.
She stared in astonishment, finally noticing the diamond ring he was holding.
The diamond sparkled so brightly in the sunlight it nearly blinded her.
She squinted instinctively, then saw Oscar slipping the ring onto her finger.
Suddenly, there was applause.
Pearl looked around and saw passersby clapping, their eyes filled with envy and joy.
Feeling a bit scared and flustered, she asked, "What's going on?"
"So romantic, someone is proposing here! With many roses and even a helicopter, it's beautiful!"
"This feels like a fairy tale with a princess and a prince. If someone prepared such a surprise for me, I'd marry him even if he was ugly. And he's such a handsome man on top of it!"
"Why are people so different? When will I have a man who loves me like this?"
Hearing the passersby, Pearl realized it was a proposal.
'And the protagonist was me?'
Pearl was extremely surprised. They were in a sea of roses, with a faint fragrance in the air. Turning her head, she saw Oscar looking at her with deep affection.
"Will you marry me?" Oscar asked, his voice low and sincere.
Pearl couldn't help but laugh. "Haven't I already married you? It's been so long, why are you proposing again?"
Oscar leaned close to her ear. "You've been married to me for three years, but I never proposed to you."
She looked at the big diamond on her ring finger and heard his heartfelt words.
Pearl suddenly found herself unable to speak.
She felt a mix of sadness, sorrow, and disbelief.
She never thought Oscar would one day make up for the proposal.
Pearl's eyes turned red, and tears almost fell. She had waited for this moment for so many years.
"Why are you crying?" Oscar asked, feeling a bit distressed, touching the corner of her eye. "Did I make you uncomfortable?"
Pearl shook her head. "I just feel it's been so hard."
Oscar hugged her tightly and said sincerely, "These years, you've had a hard time."
Pearl leaned against his chest, her voice choked with emotion. "Then you have to treat me very, very well!" she said, her words trembling.
Oscar held her tightly. "From now on, I will treat you well. You will always be my wife!"
Pearl closed her eyes, and tears still fell uncontrollably.
"Marry him, marry him!" The passersby were cheering.
They gazed at each other with red eyes. After all, it hadn't been easy for them to be together.
Oscar lowered his head and kissed Pearl.
At this moment, they were in love deeply, and nothing could change that.
As they kissed, thousands of balloons rose with the wind.
Each balloon had the words: Oscar will always love Pearl!
The helicopter flew by, and the banner also read these words.
Oscar loves Pearl forever!
Oscar wanted everyone to know that the person he loved was Pearl, and only Pearl, and that had never changed.
This was also his promise to her; his love was only for her!
The proposal was broadcasted live.
Haley watched the live broadcast, seeing Oscar and Pearl embracing and kissing, her nails almost digging into her flesh.
'Did he have to treat me this way? Even at this moment, Oscar wanted to humiliate me!'
Haley's eyes turned red, her hands trembling as she shattered everything in the room.
She immediately made a phone call, almost shouting, "Do you want Pearl to live or not?"
